- Lovely hosts -- Kostas met us on arrival, gave us recommendations for food shops, eating out, and buses into Seaham, and offered to sort out covers for the kitchen windows if the room was too bright. - Cosy but well-laid-out accommodation - Great shower -- and good shampoo, shower gel, towels & flannels provided - A really comfy bed (firm but not hard) - Good electric oven & grill with trays - Neat open wardrobe with shelves in the corner - Close to supermarkets and bus stop into Seaham

- Self-catering facilities were a bit hit & miss -- cutlery & crockery was ok, there were a couple of saucepans and a good large frying pan, but I only got 2 of the hob rings working reliably, and if I went again I would take oven gloves, a can opener, cooking/serving utensils (there was only 1 wooden spoon) and maybe a chopping knife. - The room was a bit bright for our taste -- there are 2 layers of grey curtains but they're a little thin, we ended up hanging our clothes over the top from the curtain rail.

A fabulous stay at this wonderful place! Spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location for Sunderland centre and Seaham Bay areas (with a car). We had a wonderful welcome from our hosts who are so lovely and helpful. Lijie is so thoughtful and picked us some home grown blackberries one morning, It was quiet and peaceful at all times. Oh, and the food in the adjoining restaurant was delicious! We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Lovely little apartment, I say little bit it was spacious and roomy. Comfort of beds. Really clean, I always check the bathroom for this and it was perfect. Excellent/branded shower gel and shampoo. Comfort and relaxing in the room with the fire. Nearby beach. Close to Seaham. Price of drinks were good. The owners and staff were so lovely! There to ask for anything including extra tea bags, milk. Costa even picked us up from Seaham on Saturday night at 00.30am when we were stranded! Would not accept any money for this so we left a tip in the room.

The water pressure in the shower - quite weak. Cold in the bathroom, but we left the door open when out to let the warm air circulate. Literally nothing else!

A great stylish apartment, lots if beautiful original art done by the owner. We had a lovely greeting amd the apartment had everything we needed, also as we went in october it was warm and cosy.

The only downside was that there weren't many places to eat within walking distance. We booked the apartment thinking that the pub would be open for meals but it is on winter opening hours at the moment.

Exceptionally clean, we had a huge big bed & warm bedding for both bed & spare bed & the room was warm & well decorated. The owner was very friendly & helpful; he made us all feel welcome; we booked the room for one night. Fridge in the kitchen area, washing liquid for our pots. A good & easy to use shower, also had toiletries supplied & towels for all three of us.

The spare bed was a sofa bed, but wasn't very comfortable for our driver friend. Possibly to be used for children, rather than adults

bring a self contained unit, very inviting, convenient location and within easy access to everything. nice walks too! Hosts are very friendly , they run this place beautifully! Photos are as it is inside, beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

The owner, Kostas, was there to meet me. he was really nice and chatted to me as he showed me into the accommodation. He showed me the emergency contact telephone numbers, mentioned the wifi and showed me around the accommodation. Great customer service. I was able to park my car right outside which was fantastic! Unfortunately, the pub was closed as it was a Monday. However, Kostas, directed me to a nearby pub serving food and nearby shops (Aldi and Asda). Kostas also directed me to Seaham beach and the war monuments there,. The accommodation was roomy with everything a sola business traveller needs. The bed was very comfortable. I liked that shower gel and shampoo were provided, as were tea, coffee and tea towel and a towel in the bathroom. The flat was spotless and tastefully decorated. The owner's wife produces art pieces, some of which are displayed to purchase around the flat, which adds a lovely personal touch. Kostas, the owner, answered the questions I had before I arrived and confirmed my arrival time and that there would be a parking space or my car. I would definitely stay again and recommend. Very reasonable price too!

We loved this place! The room was comfy and equiped with absolutely everything. The couple made us feel extremely welcome, and the added personal touch made our stay even more special. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We would highly recommend and would love to come again.

Lovely apartment with everything you'd need. Really comfortable sleep in a huge bed for me and my parther.. The room was spacious with beautiful artwork. We came for the main attraction seaham and it's seaglass, located 5 minute drive to seaham it was perfect.

We stayed with our 2 children. Loved how big the room was and how homely it felt. Our children loved the divider curtain. We come up every few months to visit my husbands family (he us from sunderland) and normally change hotels each trip, but Lijie made us feel so welcome so we will definitely be coming back. A wonderful place.
