The place was very easy to find, and there was parking less than 1 min walk. The host welcomed us straight away, explained how breakfast works and what to expect from the rooms. It was my um's birthday and as a special request, I asked the staff to leave a little birthday note in her room. Instead, she had a little cake, card and flowers waiting for her in the room. Exceptional! The host was really helpful and kind, shared some tips for places to see with us and a bit of history about the village. There was also a small lounge we could use in the evening with loads of books about the area. I would also recommend local pub that is right next to the property. Lovely food and staff. We were lucky enough to be there for pub quiz. The locals were lovely and very friendly.

We loved the unmistakable Cotswolds charm of Guiting Guest House, located in a typical village surrounded by greenery, wildlife and absolute peace. It was the ideal base for our Cotswolds tour. The room was small but had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the spacious shower and the thoughtful selection of toiletries provided. Ray was friendly and welcoming, and really made our stay special. We were truly able to relax and enjoy our holiday to the fullest. We definitely recommend this place and would happily return in the future!

Great room and facilities which had been given thought. For example double sockets on both sides of the bed which also included USB ports for charging devices. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk which is not always the case in some places and also a mini fridge with water and a couple of cans of coke/lemonade which is a nice touch. Decent sized bathroom and facilities Great location in a nice area, pub next door (friendly and highly recommended) plus the Post Office that does breakfasts etc during the day. Nice village to walk around and ideally suited if you want to get the walking boots on and go exploring as there are a few paths/bridleways that pass through. He had a couple of chats with Ray who was very pleasant and relaxed and was an excellent host. Hopefully the business continues to grow for him and Glenn and, from what we saw, there is no reason for it not to!
Unfortunately no breakfast as the kitchen is being refurbished, which we didn't know at the time of booking. However the Post Office made up for it. Bathroom - bigger towels, or bath sheets would be nice but that's just a personal preference

We really enjoyed the warmth, friendliness and helpfulness of our host, Ray. We also enjoyed the comfort and ambience of our room and the fact that we didn't have to carry luggage upstairs as our room was on the ground floor. We also appreciated having a small fridge in our room. Plus Ray offered us some fresh milk so we didn't even have to ask. Breakfast was perfect- all we could have wanted to keep us walking It was quiet despite being a Bank holiday weekend. .
I've tried really hard but there's nothing I can think of. Thanks Ray! :)

This guest house was simply fantastic. It is located in a beautiful village and it was very quiet so that everyone can get a good night's sleep. Everything was perfect: our room was lovely and super clean, it had everything we needed and the bed was really comfy. We also loved the wonderful view into the garden which was also amazing. Breakfast was a highlight! Everything is prepared just for you and we missed absolutely nothing. Thanks to Ray for making our stay so nice, it was really great having a chat with you in the mornings. Furthermore, you just need a one-minute walk to the nearest pub. We would have wanted to stay some more nights at this amazing guest house and we know for sure that we will come back.

A truly lovely place to stay in a wonderful location in the heart of the Cotswolds. Ray gave us the warmest of welcomes, our garden room was very comfortable, bright and spacious and the breakfast was delicious. The village is small and quiet and very pretty with a small farm shop and café on the village green, and just a ten minute walk from the guest house is the Hollow Bottom, a really friendly pub where we enjoyed an excellent evening meal. The guest house was a real gem of a find and we absolutely loved our stay there.

This place is a gem. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The renovations made the stay comfortable. Varied and personalised breakfast each morning. Location in this old village amazing.
The only suggestion is that although our week has remarkably good and warm weather, a small air conditioner in the rooms would make things a lot more comfy overnight. But this was an issue in all venues across the region.

Beautiful property in a lovely location. Ray the host was wonderful and very friendly. The room was very well appointed with a very comfortable bed, a fridge and an excellent powerful shower. The honesty bar and beautifully furnished dining room and lounge were also welcomed. The property is ideally located for all the amenities that Guiting Power offers and was a great base for exploring the Cotswolds. Hope to return soon.

Simple but gorgeous rooms with quaint views, very knowledgeable hosts with good recommendations, and a full English breakfast that was *just* the right size. Fresh daffodils everywhere was a pretty touch. The top floor was perfect for our group of myself, my partner, my sister and auntie (2 singles, 1 couple), as we were happy to share a bathroom between us.
Nothing! Just wish we had longer there so we could've tried the pubs and walks nearby.
