The staff at breakfast and lunch were welcoming and good humoured and the food served was of great quality. I was very glad to be staying in a property that was willing to participate in the Stonehaven Folk Festival. The use of the cafe generated high praise from festival participants.

The room really needs a replacement toilet seat, the one in place is flimsy and potentially dangerous; it fell off the first time I tried to use it, a clip on the fitting hadn’t been secured. It would have been nice if there had been someone to whom I could have conveyed this message in person; I had the impression that this wasn’t the responsibility of the breakfast waiting staff.

I am sure we had the best room in the building. Absolutely phenomenal view from our window seat. I fell in love with this room. Doesn’t even feel real! Check in was easy. The sitting room was lovely, my son and I played a couple rounds of chess in the evening. Breakfast was delicious and I loved the “breakfast post” concept. The barista who served us was sweet as could be. Not a single negative thing about this place!

We had the room with two single beds. It was large enough to also boast two comfy chairs placed in front of a very large window looking out toward the seashore. Across the hall was a living room with plenty of comfortable seating, a fireplace, books and games. The dining area was very clean and decorated in an attractive way. The staff were so pleasant, informative, and helpful. The lovely lady who served us breakfast recommended a distillery which was also fantastic. Both my son and I really enjoyed our stay here and wished we had more time to stay. It was the kind of place that made us feel at home, comfortable and relaxed. The weather was beautiful, but I would have been perfectly happy to stay inside, watching a storm from that widow...my son says he would like to honeymoon there when he gets married. The gardens leading up to the house were beautiful as well.

The mattresses could have been more comfortable, but they were certainly not the worst ones we experienced on our trip. There were several stairs leading up to the house, and then up to our room. It wasn't a problem for us, but could be if someone has mobility issues. I did not ask if there were accessibility options as we did not need them.

Charming property in a beautiful little town. Very comfortable rooms and lovely and clean. Check in is very smooth. Host is responsive to messages but you don’t see anyone till breakfast which isn’t an issue at all. Breakfast was very good in the little cafe and the young lady who served us was kind and warm. Beautiful little outside garden to sit in and admire the views. Would not hesitate to recommend Arduthie House.

We spent 2 nights at Arduthie house and it was everything we needed. This lovely bed and breakfast in Stonehaven is stylish, comfy and felt like a home away from home. Our room was spotless and the mattress was so comfortable. On top of that, breakfast was excellent and the young woman working in the cafe couldn't have been nicer. We liked it so much we will be back.

The house is a wonderful stylish cottage with beautiful garden. The rooms and living room are spacious with elegant furnishing and with all you need. The host was a friendly gentleman. :) You can park on the street in front of the house. The breakfast was lovely and it was a huge portion so we couldn't eat it all.

A phone charging option would have been helpful (usb port or adapter) as we used it for navigation and was quite crutial.

The breakfast was extrodinary good! The breakfast room is very modern and designed with Taste, the sun comes through the windows and the waitress was very friendly. There is a variety of food you can choose from, some of it not an option you would find everywhere. And it tastes great! One can see that everything is made with dedication. It is so worth staying there or just having breakfast!!

It is a marvellous and very cozy space in the centre of Stonehaven. The staff was always super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and we could chose between different options (also vegan and glutenfree options available). We almost didn't want to leave the place for our daily tours, because it was just so nice there.

There was nothing to complain about.

The guest house , a traditional Scottish style house, was marvellous. The host welcomed us warmly and was super friendly. The location was super . We had two rooms. Then one room was on the last floor and we had a magnificent view and sunset. The breakfast was super delicious , with big variety. It was served in the cafe, each table was set perfectly with nice small details.

Lovely house with a beautiful garden, well positioned near the centre of Stonehaven and the sea. Pristine, well equipped room with great view and lovely breakfast with pre-bookable options.

No issue with the B&B at all but Stonehaven didn't seem to have many good dinner options - maybe eat somewhere else en route.
