The location was great for the open air theatre concert we were going to. It was lovely to have a beautiful sea view. Although the carpark is very small we managed to get a spot and was good ti be able to see the car too from our room. It looked clean and comfortable throughout so a shame we were only staying in Scarborough for 1 night. The room with television was tastefully decorated and carpets looked clean and felt plush. There was extra bedding, a heater, fan and iron with mini ironing board and luggage rack in wardrobe and a hairdryer in one of drawers. There was a mini fridge on cute table and tea, coffee and milk provided in room with kettle, cups and wrapped plastic cups too (used for my wine) as well as free tea and coffee available downstairs in dining room if you wished to sit down there. We didn’t eat there but there appeared to be a decent choice not badly priced on the menu provided. I loved the separate shower and toilet just outside the room as well as the en-suite but perhaps that was due to it being a family room as only they were available through booking.com at time of booking. Would definitely stay there again.
Outside of windows could do with a clean but they are high up as were the two windows that opened and could do with a pole to open and shut as was tricky reaching the lever even when standing on chair. The shower was a little tricky to turn at first but fine once turned. The door from room had a fiddly lock but again, once fathomed out was ok and might just need a little tightening but staff are so friendly, pleasant and helpful if you need any assistance.

Great value, fantastic central location with car parking available which was a huge bonus. Lovely welcoming atmosphere with friendly owner, honestly couldn’t fault her she was lovely and took the time to chat with us. Clean and comfortable family room with really comfy beds. Good facilities in the room with tea/coffee facilities, mini fridge if needed, clean bathroom and decent water pressure and heat for a second floor room in a listed building. The room even had a hair dryer and iron! Free tea and coffee available downstairs with every brand/flavour imaginable available, really impressed with the choice. Well stocked bar to purchase alcoholic drinks or cans of pop, reasonably priced items. Overall a fantastic stay and we will definitely return. Thanks

The hotel was very close to the beach and the room we stayed in had a lovely view of the sea. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable and nicely made up. The extra channels on the T.V with Disney Plus were an added bonus. The mini fridge and good selection of teas and coffee in the room was great. The shower was good and very clean. The lounge downstairs was comfortable and inviting. Our son enjoyed the binoculars in the dining room. The hotel was very quiet at night. The hotel was warm and well lit. There were shops and cafes very close by. The parking at the back of the hotel was easy to find and there were roughly 6 spaces so plenty available.
The windows in the room did not open (upper room opened a tiny bit but we had to stand on a chair and push hard to open it ) and the room was stuffy and full of condensation in the morning. The WI-FI code was not displayed anywhere but we managed to ask the host when we saw her and she wrote it down. There were no forks in the dining room, just spoons and knives.

Helpful staff when we arrived and we had a lovely Seaview room. Nice walk along the front to sealife centre or you can catch the bus to the harbour. Tea and coffee downstairs that you can help yourself too and upstairs in your room. We got keys for the front door and backdoor so you can come in and out as you please. Car park out the front. Also, I got to see the northern lights right outside the hotel, too, which was beautiful!
Our mattress was slightly too small of our bed, which was a little uncomfortable to sleep in.

Great location to the open air theatre in Scarborough. Really good room and excellent clean condition.
This booking was made for my elderly parents to go see Tom Jones. I had messaged the property a couple of times about breakfast, wanting to pre pay knowing that my parents would want to have breakfast as they look forward to it as part of the experience. Not one mention that they had to pre order breakfast at all. When they asked on the first morning, they were told they could walk to a local cafe, as no one was available to cook 😕. My parents are both nearly 80 years old and can get confused, so just did without breakfast at all. To be honest I think the property is a little overpriced when they don't include breakfast. Bit disappointed 😞

Easy walk from the Open Air Theatre where we were seeing a concert. The hotel was very clean and modern, the lady on reception who met us was very polite, friendly and helpful. Our room was bright and airy, well made up, clean and looked right out onto the sea. The beds were extremely comfortable. TV and WiFi all good, mini fridge was a bonus. Bathroom spotless. Will stay again if we return to Scarborough. Great price especially compared to other places we looked at online which were much more basic than this.
Only one small thing.. on booking it stated toiletries included, shampoo and body wash. So I didn't pack these items. On returning at midnight from a concert we went to take showers before bed and found there was hand wash but no shampoo or body wash that we could find. Didn't want to bother anyone at that time so we managed with water, only stayed one night so wasn't an issue. Nobody around in the morning to mention it to. I'm sure the staff would have provided us with toiletries if we had asked.

I didn't just like I absolutely loved the views from the hotel window we had a family room with a great view seeing my grandchildren wake up and be amazed they could see the beach will stay with me forever ... the hotel inside was very clean and had everything you needed even a mini fridge and all the information you needed to know inside the hotel room very importantly wifi code when you have a teenage grandchild 😊..added bonus was being able to park at the hotel... the lady ( not sure if the lady was the owner) was very pleasant on arrival .... the hotel communal area was very well maintained and spotlessly clean would certainly stay again.. a hotel to be proud of and a mention to the housekeeping staff absolutely spotless 😀
I'm a first impression person so the outside front and back could do with a tidy up but the inside was spotless... I work in hospitality and always strip my room wherever I stay believe me its a godsend when your cleaning the room ready for the next guests...I noticed in the room I stayed in the duvets needs renewing although everything was very clean ( wouldn't put me off staying at all) ... the banister leading up from the entrance needs a little attention i did feel it moving and creaky but to be expected with some many guests and how old the building is but not enough to be a danger ....very minor things and nothing major to put right .. certainly wouldn't put me off staying again

Nice location beach across the road , Parking available . seating area outside - help yourself to free tea and coffee in dining room . We took a cuppa outside . Comfy bed . The dinning area and bar area were lovely Most of the hotel looked like it had had some renovation work doing to update inside
Unfortunately first impressions last and due to some empty buildings next to the hotel didn’t give great Sense of wow when u first get to the hotel which was a real shame It needs painting and tidying up a bit outside .

Great location as we were seeing Bill Bailey at Scarborough Open Air Theatre (10 minute walk). We arrived before check-in but a note on the door said we could use the hotel's on-site parking, so we had a wander round Scarborough & had something to eat before checking in. Sll thr keys were explained during check in. Keys provided for front & rear doors & our private bathroom. Room was small but more than adequate. Only downside was no en suite, our private bathroom was on the other side of the corridor. No big deal really. Shower was great too! No meals. But plenty of cafe's nearby. We were told we could bring our own food back & use the dining room or use the seating areas outside.

The room was clean and pleasant, hotel says free parking but all spaces were taken when we arrived so we ended paying to park in a near by car park. I would say the cost was expensive compared to others of a similar standard I have stayed in but then all the hotels in the area will have inflated their prices to accommodate people attending the concerts at the open air theatre. Would stay in again as a very convenient spot for the open air theatre and to be honest I was lucky to book it as it was only the week before when I read reviews on the place we had originally booked!
was a little bit expensive and not enough parking for the number of rooms
