Great reception customer service. Very friendly, accommodating, and hospitable staff. Nice and quiet room, great sleep. Breakfast a bit cold but plentiful and very fresh and good tasting. I couldn't get over how friendly and helpful all the staff were!!

The biggest disappointment with a lot of hotels through booking.com is they mention 'parking available' but not that there is a fee. Had to pay for parking at a hotel in a remote area which is just pure money grabbing. Include this fee in your room price to not awaken customers to this extra cost during check in. It's kind of like extortion when you have the customer who has just traveled miles and just wants to get into his room to find out he has to pay a fee for parking. He'll just pay it. An extra £4.50 for 12 hrs. If you check in at 3pm you are more than likely going to have to pay a lot more. I was told the land was rented by the hotel, well that's between the land owner and the hotel not the paying customer. This can be easily fixed but sounds like a money fiddle somewhere...

We returned to this hotel having stayed a few weeks earlier because we thought the staff were lovely - so welcoming. This time Sonya greeted us like old friends! She was very keen to check if we were looked after. Similarly, Anna at breakfast was very nice and kept asking if we had everything we needed. The room was clean and fresh towels were left every day. The lower bath with good safety rails in room 30 actually made it easier for me than room 2 - a disability room. Walk in showers would be a bonus. At breakfast there was good choice and quality sausages. Well done Talita and your team, we will be back!

Nothing to dislike

It was a lovely hotel. The staff were so attentive to our requirements of the stay. Wonderful stay with The Milestone Hotel. The rooms were clean and excellent and the bed was so comfortable too. The service was excellent too. Location is very good. Staff Ricas, Favio and Ryan and the 2 managers Talita and Sonia was very kind and very helpful. The food was excellent and great care was taken in the restaurant. Will definitely be coming back very soon. All the best :)

Nothing, everything was superb.

The staff are very attentive to individual needs, I have a lot of allergies which makes breakfast buffet options a little difficult for me due to cooking methods and cross contamination, the chef went out of her way to cook me the bits that I wanted from fresh and my goodness the sausages were incredible!!! There was a slight mishap with the room and the staff went above and beyond to rectify it and granted me extra time to have a sleep in taking my overall health into consideration. They were supportive, friendly and the atmosphere is unbeatable.

Not a dislike as such but maybe air-conditioning in the rooms for the future

Good breakfast. Location convenient for the motorway, which was why we chose it. There is road noise from the motorway, worse on one side of the building than the other. As there was no air conditioning we had to open a window at night, which led to road noise coming in, though this did not keep us awake. If you have the windows shut, the double glazing and some nice Japanese style screens keep all the noise out. Very helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Clean rooms.

Bit of road noise but as stated above it did not spoil our stay and if you can do without air con and don't mind shutting the windows, you don't hear it.

The excellent choice of breakfast items. We were impressed with the service provided by the waitress (Charlotte) on Tuesday to Sunday mornings, the receptionist (part time student) and the maintenance man - almost 5*.

Signage to the hotel was obstructed by trees. Grass around premises was very overgrown which gave a neglected appearance. Our final breakfast on the Monday was disappointing due to the poor waitress service, who seemed to avoid the guests - no check-in, food items not being replenished and staying in the kitchen eating bowls of fresh fruit and yogurt. No attempt to check on guests needs.

Good location (for us) but also could be for Peterborough & surrounding area. If looking for all mod cons, then this is not for you, but more than comfortable for a couple of nights. Staff helpful and polite did get some misleading information about the parking operator owning the carpark at the hotel, which is technically incorrect.

The carpark should not be run by a private parking operator as they are only interested in making as much money from guests and not managing it.This has affected them & myself coming back..

The staff are the greatest asset to this hotel. My wife has mobility issues and on arrival Sonia went to great lengths to help make our stay the best it could be. Sonia is a 'can do' person, responding with cheerful and positive efficiency. Other staff were similarly kind and helpful. Thank you for your professionalism and care. The adapted room was spacious and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable. Large car park with ample spaces. Outside seating area which was very sunny! Excellent value.

Conveniently located, this hotel gave us a ground floor room for which we were very grateful as we had a lot of luggage to sort and repack before heading to Heathrow the next morning. A hearty breakfast was provided, and we were also able to buy our dinner there, which was very convenient.

The room was very hot, and the toilet didn't flush properly. We mentioned this to reception on check out and were advised that we should have let them know, and they would happily have provided us with a fan and/or moved us to another room.

Easy location to my family. Hotel & rooms were spotlessly clean. Very friendly staff. I arrived very late in the evening, and the team still very engaging despite it being almost midnight. I was able to check-in late, which was a factor for me booking. Sonia on reception was very helpful & personable.

Paying for parking. But… it was very cheap, (£3.40 for 15 hours) so as the room was at least £15-£35 cheaper than other hotels locally, it was not an inconvenience after discovering how cheap the parking is.
