Perfect location if you are a Manchester United fan. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the beds are the comfiest beds I’ve slept on at a hotel! Upgrading to stadium view is worth the extra money especially if you have kids, that was the highlight of the weekend for my son. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The little extras that are included is a lovely little touch, the complimentary sweets and drinks which are refilled every day were a huge hit with my wee boy. Also, if you have a birthday whilst here then definitely add on the birthday package, it was my little boys 10th birthday the day we arrived and we’d been travelling for nearly 6 hours so it really brightened his day when he came in to balloons, a card from some of the 92’ team, keyring and sweets. And the Astro turf roof top pitch was a huge hit, the view is spectacular. It’s definitely been a weekend to remember and if we come back to Manchester then it’s a no brainer, this is where we will stay!

We liked everything & my son absolutely loved the fact there's a footy pitch on the top floor "heaven" the hotel call it, even the lift button was "h" for heaven. He went up there numerous times & enjoyed a kick about with other children up there, I would give bonus marks if i could for this.

The remote in my room did not work properly, I could not get the guide on & could only use the up & down button for both channel changing & volume. What was more annoying was the fact the tv just went blank if i scrolled to fast & then had to be turned off & back on again, starting at bbc1. The remote was a "one4all" & they are shite, your tv is a samsung so it's not hard to bulk buy samsung remotes so residents can use the tv's properly & that is my only gripe

I liked the stadium view and the breakfast. I liked the café football and the location to old trafford. Iliked watching MUTV in the hotel room as me and my carer are huge Man United supporters. I liked the complimentary shower gel and the décor in room. The bed was very comfy along with the pillows. So comfy I had a good night's sleep after my carer lulled me to sleep. Very lovely staff. The next morning when I had no water to take my meds with, I went to reception and this lovely young man gave me a free glass bottle of water at low cost, but not at any cost to me. I liked having sky sports news on the TV to keep up to date with the footy etc. hotel room very quiet as a mouse, could not hear distant building work

I reserved twin beds with a stadium view, but I got a king size bed to sleep on, which my carer objected to as she felt it was inappropriate to do so . But this was quickly resolved by phoning reception and going to get a more suitable replacement room. Later, my TV box froze and wasn't working properly, so we had to get multiple people to rectify it. Shower was too hot and hard to adjust. Should be regulated at no more than 44°C for safety's sake. Fridgedid not have much water and not a lot of choice of pop

Car park is handy for hotel. Room really big and very comfortable bed. Brilliant shower. Loved all the free things in room. Great view of stadium. Very friendly and courteous young staff. It was my birthday and I was given vouchers for a free drink!

Minor point - TV needed resetting as sound did not match with words being spoken. Very noisy cafe - however, there was a childrens event being held nearby and I think they were all staying in this hotel! Car park is a little pricey.

Booked for a surprise for my husband birthday was not disappointed booked a 92 room and booked the birthday package hubby loved it had afternoon tea which was so good well cooked and presented also we ate in the Cafe football in the evening they decorated the table with balloons and a card for hubby he was made up have to say Nathan who worked between restaurant and bar was amazing so friendly and helpful and made our evening the hotel was spotless just wished we had stayed longer definitely will return also we loved our view of Old Trafford especially in the evening

I chose Hotel Football for my stay because I wanted to watch a Manchester United game the next day without worrying about transportation. The hotel exceeded all my expectations! The distance from the hotel to my seat in the stadium was less than a 5-minute walk, making the whole experience incredibly convenient and hassle-free. The room was exceptionally warm, despite Manchester’s cold weather, and it was spotless and well-organized. On top of that, I was lucky enough to have a room with a view of the stadium right from my bed. It felt like a childhood dream come true. Waking up and seeing Old Trafford was an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to combine their stay with a Manchester United match. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Everything was perfect !!!!

Everything, friendly staff, comfy beds, clean rooms, and smelt lovely when entering the room. Great price and had a great view of Stadium. Added bonus of check out times are 12 noon (this is normal check out time).

Absolutely nothing was an amazing stay. We will definitely return. This was put 3rd stay and each time we've been super happy with our experience, which hasn't been the same with another hotel we had stayed at a number of times, so this is the place we will use to return even if it is further out of our way. Thank you, and keep up the excellent work.

Hotel reception staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Even allowed us to check-in to a better room early. Facilities for families are excellent, the football pitch at the top of the hotel is perfect for kids and older family members alike. The food in the cafe was fresh and served quickly, despite being busy and the staff were polite and friendly. The rooms and other facilities are clean, modern and the location speaks for itself.

Could argue that the food prices are on the higher side, but for the experience and location (likely a treat) you cannot complain too much.

The location is absolutely fabulous. It’s very close to Old Trafford Stadium. After the stadium and museum tour, it’s just a few minutes’ walk back, which is really convenient and great. The staff there are very friendly. That’s why we think all the ladies there are so charming. Smiling ladies are the cutest ladies in the world, regardless of race or skin color. The complimentary offerings were great. Although we didn’t try everything, we were delighted. The price is on the higher side, and the view isn’t particularly fabulous. The parking lot can be a bit confusing. However, when we were greeted by the staff with bright smiles, it feel worth paying a little extra.

The ventilation fan in the bathroom didn’t work properly, so we ended up in a bit of a fog after showering.

Great location, friendly & accommodating staff , comfy beds , nice rooms , good breakfast and breakfast selection. Booked for my football mad 11 Yr olds birthday as he was doing the old Trafford tour . He absolutely loved this hotel , particularly the roof top football pitch ( He named it heaven ). He's adhd / autistic and this hotel managed to keep him busy enough but not overwhelming & without judgement ( we've had this in other hotels with staff ) He slept with the curtain open all night so he could dream of old Trafford . We also booked the birthday package which we thought was good value . Inc a scarf, balloons , key ring , card , 10 % off mega store and a birthday drink ! 100% would recommend 👌
