Great welcome from the lady behind the bar when I arrived late at 9.30- didn't catch her name though. Very helpful and so welcoming. A great value pub B&B- rooms clean and bed very comfortable, shower hot and a nice beer. Breakfast order taken the night before and they even asked what time I wanted it. Great quality as included in the price and I enjoyed a relaxing start to the day. The lady at breakfast also very helpful and welcoming. If you are looking for a good value clean place you can’t go wrong here. Standards and service surpass a lot of the chain hotels so well done

Upon arrival i did have doubts, externally the pub looked a touch dirty. Having said that, it's on a busyish road so probably pick up a lot of grime from the passing trucks etc. Inside though it was spotless. Nice bar, friendly staff and very welcoming feel. The room was immaculate, again, spotlessly clean, modern, super comfy bed, fairly firm - just how I like it. Nice walk-in shower & modern bathroom. Really couldn't fault the accommodation.

If I'm forced to criticise anything, I guess it was the first impression - but how wrong could I have been & at the end of the day, its inside the property that counts & i can honestly say its one of the best B&B's I've stayed in.

The breakfast was lovely, as was the lady serving me. She was very helpful and informative. The bed was just right, for me. I slept for 9 straight hours, which I never usually achieve, least of all in an unfamiliar bed. The people I chatted to in the pub when getting a drink, were all friendly and welcoming. A very good find which I plan to return to whenever I visit my son who has just started at Leeds Uni.

I'm glad I knew in advance that there would likely be a live band playing. The band was very loud, even from my room which, as I'd requested, was as far away as possible from the music. But, they played a decent selection of covers, from the era I enjoy, so I just happily listened to the music from my room!

The room was newly refurbished and was immaculate in terms of cleanliness. The facilities were great and the bathroom is an absolute dream! Every thing has been thought of and it was one of the best rooms we have stayed in. Hospitality was second to none and every member or staff we encountered went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. Neil the owner was fantastic, easy to approach and knowledgeable. Could not fault it in any aspect and would highly recommend. Also in a great location, close to different areas with public transport if required. We will definitely be back!

From the moment we arrived, we were treated less like guests and more like long-lost friends by the wonderfully welcoming staff. Our rooms were impeccably modern and so clean you could probably have eaten off the floor, though I'd highly recommend using a plate for the breakfast—you'll need a big one! The bed was a certified cloud. Seriously, it was so comfortable that my alarm clock filed a formal complaint the next morning. And the breakfast? A glorious, plate-buckling feast of Yorkshire proportions that was both massive and delicious. We ventured down to the pub on Saturday for the live band and were promptly adopted by a crowd of the friendliest, most hilarious people we've ever met. It turns out the rumours are true: Yorkshire folk are an absolute riot. We came for a quick drink and left with few new best friends and sore cheeks from laughing. A fantastic stay from start to finish!

Hairdryer ~ yes Iron ~ yes (travel iron) Miniature toiletries ~ yes (Shampoo and shower gel, no conditioner) Towels ~ yes Close to the town of Morley, walkable in 20 mins. Plenty of shops, indoor market and a Wetherspoons for cheap food and drink. Asda a 2 minute walk away also which also has a McDonald’s in it. Good connection via bus into Leeds, average time 40 mins.

The ‘private’ door to the rooms was left unlocked constantly which was a little uncomfortable. The locks were very tricky both on the bedroom door and the main door to the building.

This place is an absolute hidden gem! Hospitality, second to none. Comfort, ditto. Facilities, ditto. Guinness, OUTSTANDING! Best I've had in years, maybe ever! Breakfast, TO DIE FOR! Even if you just get a bowlful of Jo's special tomatoes, you've got a meal fit for a King. To Neil and Jo and the team...thank you so much for your hospitality. I booked in as a stopover, on my way to Whitby. I can assure you, that I will be back! There's a moral to this review, for all of you blinkered people out there. Never judge a book, by the cover!

Absolutely nothing! Apart from the fact that I was only there for one night!

Check-in was super easy. Stepped in the pub, even earlier that check in time and quickly I was showed where the room was, which is actually not directly over the pub premises, but has a separate entrance, the room was super clean. Recently refurbished, I guess. Reading some reviews, some people complained about a noise in the toilet.. it's the fan that can easily be switched off. Please don't be discouraged by that. The shower was super strong. Loved it. Little dump on the wall in the stairs leading to the room, but not in the room. I think it will be the next step for refurb and then will be perfect. Lovely breakfast, simple but well cooked. If ever in the area again for work, I will definitely come back.

Probably slightly too expensive, but breakfast is included and it was super close to my place of work.

This hosts of this property are brilliant , warm , professional and I would highly recommend to stay here. Extremely helpful with early check in and late check out. The pub staff were excellent, special shout out to Evie ! The breakfast was banging , just what we needed before heading off home. Everyone we interacted with were lovely , warm & friendly. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thanks for having us Joanne & Neil 😀

Room was nice and clean staff where friendly and accommodating but only two things let them down there was a tight fit in the bathroom when using the facilities and also I couldn’t get in the shower at all being a larger Man, the second thing that let them down was the constant loud music on a night time but they are a pub so that’s ok, breakfast was lovely but probably could benefit from a buffet style set up and offer you more choices like cereal etc because I had three days of fry ups, overall lovely place and would stay again.

The fact I couldnt use the shower at all really and had to use the sink to wash
