We loved our room and the location. There was a problem with no breakfast the first morning but we received an apology and we had a lovely breakfast on the 2nd day with extras to take away with us.
It was hard to communicate with management prior to our arrival. I did not get a reply to my email when I requested an early check in, nor did they respond to my phone calls. On check in we requested breakfast for 8 am the next morning but nobody showed and we did not get the breakfast we had paid for on that day. This disrupted our plans for the day. We were also not told that we could access a kitchen. Communication between staff seems to be a problem.

Breakfast was included and pretty good. The bed and room were clean and comfy. Staff were friendly. Location was perfect for a visit to a gig at the Picturedrome.
Access involving outside stairs was not ideal, especially at night in rainy weather. Perhaps a cover over the entrance door would help so you are not standing in the rain while trying to enter the key code to get in. The key code entry was also a little awkward because the light over the door, which is motion triggered would repeatedly go out before I'd have chance to finish entering it, and I had to read the code off a fob attached to the key ring. So the writing was small, the key entry was in darkness and it was raining, not ideal. The room was up at the top and access to one side of the bed meant being doubled up, impossible to walk to the side without bending over.

location perfect for us , room very nice , bed comfy . staff very helpful on arrival . we also booked our evening meal at the taphouse , also very nice . We have stayed before .
the tap in the bathroom on cold was luke warm so drinking water not ideal . Breakfast was disappointing. The fruit and yoghurt had gone when we arrived , the tea on arrival was cold . I ordered scrambled eggs on toast and it was inedible. Only 1 member of staff and she was running around doing the best she could but too much for one person . My hubby ordered full English and he was happy with his food .

The rooms are spotless and well presented. We didn't have one of the rooms that we thought we had booked. However for one night it did not seem worth pursuing. The attic room ,I would definitely not book again,my parents stayed in this room.Far too small and the beam is over the bed ,which my dad managed to hit in the night ,whilst going to use the bathroom. Perfect location for the Picturedrome venue. And all of Holmfirths amenities. Breakfast was OK. A little disorganised. No condiments on the table ,sauces etc empty. No milk for extra cup of tea.Bread for toast ran out.The waiter was lovely. We did not want to add to his troubles running up and down the stairs ,so left asking for more. Pepper, added to the breakfast which wasn't good for two of our party. Better to leave to the customer to decide. In all a pleasant stay for what we needed. If you don't like music and noise ,you can hear this until about 2 am from other venues outside. Not an issue for us.
Beam and cramped condition of the loft room. Would not have booked this room if I had known just how small it was .Plus three flights of stairs. Pepper on breakfast. And not enough of essentials for breakfast, milk and bread. Although most of our party enjoyed what we had.

Great central location in Holmfirth
No onsite parking which they state but parking is an absolute disaster when dealing with zealous traffic wardens on the loose. There are 2 town car parks which you have to make sure you have paid for the next morning. Getting up before 8 to pay for parking is a pain. The Nook should have some deal with the local council where a display badge can be used. Tourists bring money to the town but those wardens don’t do the town any favours. Just my opinion.

Staff very friendly, food in the tap house was excellent. When we went up to the room, the sofa bed was made. We asked the girl if it could be turned back into a sofa as there was only 2 of us. She said yes but when we got back to the room later on, no one had been in & put the sofa bed back into the sofa which was disappointing. It kinda gave us the impression she couldn’t be bothered. The room was very clean though & we still really enjoyed our stay.
The included breakfast was extremely disappointing for how much the room cost. We actually ended up skipping it & we went over the road to a cafe instead to get a proper breakfast.

staff could not have been more accommodating to ourselves and our dog. It was so very much appreciated, they were all fab!
wooden floors were a little slippy in the room for the dog and a little on the small size and height restrictive due to roof beams. But don't let this put you off it's the norm for us. Was a little tricky to find, maybe in ad say next to .... and give some reference. Sorry but pillows were awful. Room was way to warm but that's what windows are for 😀

The location is right in the centre of holmfirth. The rooms are big and bright and clean.
The morning we had breakfast there was obviously a problem (hopefully)as 16 people were left waiting for breakfast for about half an hour being served by a young lad who did his best bless him, when the food arrived it was ok nothing special for the price we paid. The rooms are above a pub so it’s noisy untill closing time which is to be expected. The price is expensive but we went to a concert and didn’t want to drive so it is what it is.

Lovely little place to stay and perfect location for what we needed
It was a bit hard in the room we was in as the ceiling was very low with the added difficulty of a big beam which made it hard to get out of bed in the dark without banging your head. Don't suppose you can change old buildings though. Plus when I booked it with booking.com it stated breakfast included but it wasn't so cost us £30 more.

The location right in centre
The room we were allocated was over the bar which had loud music on also there were tables outside just under our window people were shouting until 1am so took a while to get to sleep. Not sure if any other rooms would have been quieter we realise this is a busy towncentre pub so should have expected the noise. It's a shame because the room was great and breakfast was ok Good value for money though
