Everything about our stay was perfect.The location of Woodlands is great,central but very peaceful.Robert and Isabelle are very welcoming,friendly and very good hosts.Our room was really lovely,quality furnishings, lovely bed and a great big powerful shower in the big bathroom.They have thought of everything to ensure you have a memorable stay including leaving freshly baked cake in your room everyday to have along with your cuppa.Our breakfast everyday was lovely too.All in all it was a brilliant stay with a lovely couple as our hosts and very reasonably priced too.Would recommend to everybody .

Impeccable, Brilliant stay We couldn't ask for a better place to stay on our highland adventures.  We went with my bf and mom, and we booked two rooms. The place is beautiful, and everything is taken care of in detail.  From the room (lots of amenities, such as hairdryer, usb plugs, so no need to have an adaptor) to the kitchen (lovely room and mise en place). But of course, the guest service done by Isabelle and Robert is the best you can get at that place; it is just excellent.  They are a lovely couple, very friendly and helpful. Even before our arrival, they make sure our stay, not only in the bed and breakfast, but also in the Highlands, is great.  Lots of helpful information was given to us, and we are only sorry we didn't stay longer! We hope we can come back one day for a longer period.  Thank you, Isabelle and Robert; you are worth the 10!

Robert and Isabelle were wonderful hosts, and made us feel very welcome. They are very knowledgeable on the area, and provided us with excellent suggestions for locations to visit during our stay. The property is spotless and had everything we needed. The room was very comfortable and had really nice natural lighting. The breakfast is exceptional and for dinner there are some locations within walking distance, so the location is quite convenient (and within walking distance to Urquhart Castle). There's also a gas station, grocery store, and a coffee shop nearby. Everything was perfect. 10/10. Would definitely stay again (and hope to do so one day!).

From the moment we arrived our experience was wonderful. We were met with the most friendly hosts and it was made clear that nothing would be too much effort in making our stay as comfortable as possible. The room, and the entire property, was spotless and you could tell that so much care and consideration had gone into every item purchased. The bed was enormous and one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. However, it was the breakfast that blew us away. The cooked breakfast for me and the consideration in providing lactose/gluten-free options for my partner was incredible. With generous fruitbowls and the most perfectly cooked poached eggs on toast, we started our day the right way. I honestly cannot say enough about how perfect our stay was and a big thanks to our hosts who made us feel welcome and clearly care very much about the service they provide. I'm always slightly dubious of reviews that use too many superlatives. However, in this case the review wouldn't be accurate without them!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Woodlands B&B! Isabel and Robert are fantastic hosts. The rooms and property are beautiful. Cosy bed everything is super clean and you even get treats in the room every day. Isabel was super helpful with tipps on what to do nearby. The breakfast was delicious and there is something for every taste 😉😄 We also enjoyed the nice conversations with the hosts. It's been a fantastic stay and I will definitely come back! Thank you 😄

Everything was perfect

Everything! Lovely hosts. A beautiful home in stunning gardens (shame the weather wasn't nice enough for us to use them). Great location. Fantastic breakfast freshly cooked by Robert. The room was spotlessly clean, warm and well equipped. Small touches like dressing gowns and sweet snacks were so thoughtful. Isobel was so attentive, giving lots of local information and ideas of things to do. Both her and Robert were available for all our needs.

Beautiful property, very comfortable, but what made this so special were the hosts Robert and Isabelle. They were so friendly and knowledgeable of the area, history, and had great recommendations. The breakfast food was delicious and they left freshly baked goods in our room each morning. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this stay again! I would say the photos don’t do the property justice :)

Robert & Isabelle were excellent attentive hosts and full of knowledge about the local area and attractions, nothing was any trouble and they made us feel very welcome. Exceptional breakfast freshly cooked to order and a choice to cater for all tastes. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable room. The daily treats were a nice addition to the tea tray. Will definitely return if we are this far north again.

Breakfast was perfect. There was a range of choices and what we selected were excellent… best porridge I’ve ever tasted along with the freshest fruits, including raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, banana, melon and more, all cleaned and served in a glass bowl. Cooked breakfast offered a good selection and all were cooked and presented beautifully. Fresh juices and coffee/tea were all available. Whatever we wanted, and it was all table service.

We could not fault any part of our stay at Robert and Isabelle’s Woodlands B&B in Drumnadrochit. They are the most hard working, attentive, friendly hosts and their property is first class. Our time there will always be among our happiest memories because of their efforts.

1. Facilities. Building and rooms are well designed, soundproofed and with a new modern furniture and facilities. Our room was like new. It has a lot of small details which make your staying as comfortable as at home. Plus, there was a fresh backed patisserie and delicious tea in the room every day. 2. Cleanliness. I cannot recall any another hotel as clean as this B&B, and not only on the first day. 3. Surrounding area. The B&B is in a quiet area, without any noisy road nearby. Moreover, you have possibility to spend some time in a big green backyard. 4. Breakfast was cooked and served like in a restaurant. Fresh fruits, berries, various options with eggs, porridge etc. 5. Isabelle and Robert are very hospitable, nice, and friendly, always ready to help and guide you of what to explore around the Loch Ness and further. 6. There is a good restaurant near the B&B. 7. I've visited more than 40 hotels around the world and Woodlands B&B is definitely in my top 3.
