Professional, efficient and friendly staff. ALL staff that we encountered during our stay went over and above to ensure that we were looked after and comfortable. Lunch in the restaurant was excellent, ( sweet potato, chilli and coconut soup/ staff happily replaced the sourdough bread with granary) . Everywhere spotlessly clean and well maintained, Rituals products throughout the hotel, (quality and indulgence)! Very quiet on a Tuesday night stay, best sleep for a long time, air con in room, ridiculously comfortable bed, outdoor balcony. Fridge/ complimentary soft drinks/ water provided in the room. Upgraded re room on arrival, complimentary drinks vouchers, chocolates. Fabulous hotel! Thank you to all of you for your hospitality, will definitely stay with you again!

Hard to find anything! Purely from a personal point of view/ needs, would have liked a non slip mat in the shower ( didn't ask staff for at the time due to the late hour, used a hand towel), and more ' cooked to order' options at breakfast, ( i.e fried or poached eggs, eggs benedict etc)

The room was lovely - roomy and airy with an extremely comfortable bed - gorgeous duvet and very thick mattress topper. We had such a great sleep. The staff were very friendly. We arrived early and as the room was ready we went straight to our room - the man on reception was so helpful. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. The location was great - a 15 mum into Cambridge city center but this meant we were able to see lots of great eating places we wouldn't have seen had we stayed closer to the city centre. Also very close to the botanical gardens which are well worth a visit. It's also close to the train station.

Nothing really although some nights I would have liked to be close to the city centre although it was an easy walk. The lighting in the room was a little dark but it was manageable.

Everything was fantastic. The staff was very helpful and thoughtful. Beds are super comfy. The room is big and many facilities are provided (shampoo, hairdryer, kettle, biscuits, tea, water, sugar, cups, towels, iron board...). The rooms also have different sockets (European, American and also English). The breakfast is very good and there are many options to choose from. Super close to the station, and 15 mins walk from the city centre. They also provide bikes. We felt very happy and comfortable at the hotel. I will definitely stay again! Thank you!

Everything was spectacular

Location was super close to the Cambridge train station. We enjoyed the lobby's art-deco interior design. We're able to leave our bags before check in time. Room was large for 3 of us with super comfy beds. Probably the best bed I've slept in a hotel in my years of travelling! Breakfast had a good range of food.

Our room was not ready at check in time - we're given another room which did not include a 3rd set of towels. But the housekeeping did provide us with them promptly when asked. The bathroom amenities could be better - facial tissue was not topped up. No cotton balls/pads, toothbrush/toothpaste or comb/razor.

The receptionist is the main reason for returning to say at this location always very friendly and welcoming. I think he might be the reception manager! He’s a star.

The rooms are very comfortable and clean which is amazing. We wanted a short break and stayed at the hotel for Dinner and breakfast. The most disappointing part of the stay was the food both dinner and breakfast were very disappointing the chefs seemed more interested in chatting up the young servers. We probably wouldn’t stay here again sadly as the location is great for access to the city centre. The rooms are good value for money but let’s itself down with the food offering.

Loved it all, staff were attentive, professional and really friendly. Room was gorgeous, and so spacious, the bed was massive and so comfortable. The way I described the bed to my friends when I returned from my mini trip away, was I felt like Kate Winslett in the Holiday when she first got to America. It was so gorgeous and super comfy, looked forward to getting into it each night. I went up to Cambridge as have never been before. The shower was lovely and bathroom was so big. Staff were all lovely. Can’t fault it at all. Gorgeous place, would highly recommend.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The staff were amazingly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable visit. The room was super cosy, with a huge, incredibly comfortable bed that made for the best night's sleep. The buffet breakfast was outstanding—one of the best I've ever had, with a fantastic variety of delicious options. Checking in and out online was a breeze, making the whole experience seamless. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

No parking but you can park at the train station down the road or on the main road as long as you move the car before 9am(traffic wardens)

Mattress was supportive yet soft, duvet was warm and pillows firm not hard. Good breakfast buffet with excellent selection of hot and cold items, imaginative yoghurt parfaits and good omelettes made to order by chef . One cheerful waiter who served joyfully.

No instructions on how to use equipment eg thermostat so room cold on arrival, asked reception who said ‘ scan QR code somewhere in room usually on desk’. There was no QR code nor was there an instruction card till the day after. Even then nothing about using equipment. Hot water tap for shower also required assistance fortunately more forthcoming. Breakfast plates not cleared as used so left to pile up and fight for table space, hard to catch eye of anyone on two days but third day we had the cheerful waiter who was cleared plates more regularly. On check out no courtesies such as hope stay pleasant etc.

Lovely, very spacious room with perfect temperature. Wonderful shower. Tea, coffee and biscuits were a nice touch. The room truly had everything I needed, and staff were very friendly. Exceptional in terms of cleanliness, compliments to the housekeeping team!

This is a minor detail and won’t be relevant for everyone: At breakfast, there could have been more choice on the cereal front in terms of fruit or different, non-flavoured yoghurts and dairy. However, there are certainly enough other options to choose from (full cooked breakfast, gluten free, chia, etc)

The staff were all attentive. The room was very spacious and we felt very comfortable. The bathroom is very spacious and I can see that it is accessible to everyone. There is enough space for those with reduced mobility to move around and take a good shower.

The price is a bit steep. One recommendation I would like to make would be about the names of the breakfast foods. I am partially sighted and I couldn't identify the foods by the nameplates. Maybe make it bigger and use a different color font? I think this would help those who have the same conditions as me.
