The staff were warm and friendly. Once they found out that it was my first time in Bristol and I was exploring. They gave valuable recommendations on places I could visit. I was allowed to lend the book 111 places to visit in Bristol from the reception. The rooms were clean and quite comfortable for the price. I had the room of 6 and the bunk beds reminded me of my undergraduate daysđ. There are single beds if you don't do hotel vibes. They offered to upgrade me to a room of 4 when nobody else was joining my room in the first 4 hours after I arrived. I ended up staying put and other people arrived later that night. Apparently, I had arrived early. Check in is from 3pm, so arriving early isn't a problem. The facility had everything; common room, kitchen, the pub downstairs if you are feeling groovy, cocktail stand and a nice food stand. You get a 10% discount for everything in all of these stands. There are fridges for storing your food, so you can bring in food or buy some items to cook. The best part though was the people I met. People from everywhere, Europe, the UK, Africa. P.S: Do not book for this hostel on Hostelworld.com cos they would discriminate against you based on your nationality and not let you book it. The hotel itself is not like that. It is open and loving to people of all nationality. I had a swell time, extended my stay by one day. I would have extended more if I didn't have work. I almost didn't want to leave but adulthood has me in a chokehold. I will definitely be back there.
Can't really think of a thing that I don't like. Maybe the fact that I didn't get to experience the Thursday night event that is usually slated to happen. It wasn't holding this week that I attended because there is a valentine's hangout instead. I had to leave Friday morning though, so didn't get a chance to experience that either.

The place was really comfortable and in a great area. It is in a well connected location and the staff were all super friendly, helpful, and nice. It was a great atmosphere to be able to have a pint and watch the Euros downstairs and was an easy bus ride from the train station.
The shared facilities (toilet and bathroom) weren't always the cleanest (by no fault of the staff). Lack of window screen and an aircon unit that didn't work meant we were at the mercy of the single window open to the courtyard during our entire stay for ventilation/any cool air during early summer. It wasn't particularly warm while we were there so it wasn't a massive inconvenience but worth noting.

Comfortable and clean beds, lovely staff that were happy to chat, facilities regularly cleaned, good location, very cool pub attached. Overall a great hostel that just needs some work on accessibility, Iâm able bodied and even I strugged getting in and out of the toilets and into my room at points. Itâs definitely more of a place for those that want to enjoy the nightlife as it gets loud at night also. If you like to party and donât have any physical limitations Iâd recommend this, the private rooms looked nice too
No curtains on bed, room got hot at night, heavy and noisy dorm door that was difficult to unlock and would slam closed from the weight of it, toilet doors were difficult to unlock and needed a super strong grip to twist, winding corridors and stairs to get in and out, never any tea or coffee in tin during my 4 night stay as advertised

Amazing place to stay. Great vibes, style and location to where I needed to be. I'll 100% stay here again! Loved it! We stayed in a room with it's own bathroom. Towels and bedding were supplied. Little tea and coffee station and a TV with streaming options came with the room. Everything was really clean. Lots of toilet roll supplied (which can be measly in some places.) All staff on site were amazing, everyone was really smiley and friendly, which added to the amazing vibes of this place. The artwork/graffiti were amazing, lots of details have been put in to making this place super unique, which I loved. It seems very popular with the locals/students, and the tourists were welcomed by the regulars, which was lovely to see.
I was disturbed twice during the night from a loud reception area (the room shared a wall with it.) I put the ear plugs in which the hostel supplied, which was a nice touch. I luckily took an eye mask, which came in handy as one set of lights stayed on in the bedroom despite us trying every switch ro turn it off haha. Those minor things didn't put me off and we loved our stay đ

Friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. Food/drink are available right outside or in the bar downstairs. Location is pretty good for an easy walk to the main attractions. A bit longer of a walk to the train station.
Room can be a little noisy or hot in the summer, so bring some earplugs etc as per usual. More solo-traveler activities are always appreciated.

I've stayed at The Full Moon on a couple of occasions now, one was just an overnight stay, the most recent was for 3 nights. The staff are always super friendly, and very welcoming. If you have any questions or concerns, they are available 24/7 and happy to assist however they can. I've booked a bed in an all female dorm room, and have booked a private room, both rooms have been very clean, with lovely artwork adorned on the walls. The Garden Room (Private double room) has been my favourite room so far! 10/10 would recommend The Full Moon for short or long stays!

My stay in the full moon hostel was actually very good, and I liked a lot of things during this trip about em, but what I liked the most is the property, it was so clean even when it was a lot people their, and ofc the beautiful staff treatment and professionalism.
Honestly what didn't like the most is the noise that is there in Friday's and Saturday's nights, cuz under the hostel is a pub and a club, so only in these 2 nights, the noise get really loud, but apart from that everything was cool.

Friendly atmosphere, bar and big courtyard to sit in and enjoy a beer and some tunes and some great food. Comfy bed really clean bathrooms and showers. Shared kitchen with everything u need to be able to cook for yourself, if you want to, free tea and coffee. Comfy sofas in guest lounge. Great location, right in city centre, Had a great stay, good value, I stayed in a dorm room, so.obviously there's people keeping different hours to each other, I didn't mind that, but if you do, don't book a dorm room!

Our private room was part of a loft under the roof. There were three bedrooms sharing a bathroom and living room/kitchen. The ceiling is very narrow so tall people might have difficulties enjoying these particular rooms. However there are plenty other shared bedrooms. The hostel is part of a bar, so music and people chattering are naturally a thing up until late. This is info was given before booking, so that was fine for us. Security is in place and let's only house guests pass into the dorm area. We liked the many nice decorating details on the walls and in the flat.

I was very anxious on arrival but was greeted and shown around by a really kind and patient member of staff. Straight away this made me feel more comfortable, thank you so much to the lovely staff for that The entire place is visually very beautiful. It's really lovely to stay somewhere that celebrates creative expression. There is a communal area available to guests although i didn't venture out there. It's good to know that was available to me had I been brave/sociable enough to use it, but as I'm autistic and this is my first time travelling alone I preferred to keep to myself this time around. This was respected by the other guests I encountered who were very pleasant and just gave me a smile and a "hi". Seems like all types of people are welcome here. Bed was exceptionally comfy, much comfier than my own bed at home. Everywhere was reasonably clean and tidy and there was enough staff/CCTV around that I felt safe staying here, even as a woman travelling alone. Checking out was a quick and easy process as well which I really appreciated. Very convenient location, easy to get to the city centre, various event venues and the train station. There are lots of bus stops and well-lit routes that are pleasant to walk I stayed on Halloween so expected it to be very noisy late into the night, but it really wasn't that bad at all.
Some dirty/greasy marks along the walls of the shared room I stayed in and the window sill was a bit ratty. The price I paid was a little bit higher than other hostels in the area as well, but it's not really a big deal considering the great personality and facilities this place has Nothing to complain about really!
