The staff were very friendly at the front desk and at breakfast. Really, it was our first trip to AB and everyone in the hotel, including guests were nice. The hot tub was under construction and there was some confusion about if we could use the pool or not. The chatted with the construction workers and 5 minutes later we were in the water. We also liked the location. It was further away from the airport than we expected, but we had lots of choices for meals, with Walmart, Dollarama, Shoppers, CT all within walking distance.

It was a great price for our 2 nights. We were expecting a "value" option but it was better than that. We don't have any complaints.

Overall everything was good. Standard hotel accommodations kept in good condition and clean.

I didn't see waffles at the breakfast....i saw boxes of waffles as a delivery had just arrived, son maybe there wasn't any to put out yet...a waffle with the eggs and sausage would have been great, but thats not even a complaint, just something i didn't "like". The other thing was the scrambled eggs were wierd. Probly cause theyre the pre mixed egg liquid in a carton eggs. I get it. Real eggs are hard to work with logistically in a hotel buffet breakfast. But maybe mix the egg liquid with powedered egg? That may improve the texture. As they had a wierd mouthfeel. Ind powdered eggs ive had have a decent mouthfeel. Just my opinion. Not a deal breaker by any means. However, a discounted price for opting out of breakfast would be a nice feature. Cheers!

Room was surprisingly bigger than what we expected. Bed was very comfortable. We liked the bathroom layout with the sink etc separate from toilet/shower.

It was fine for what we expected! We were a bit concerned when discovering there was 2 youth hockey teams staying in hotel - the lobby/breakfast area was a complete gong show with a team pizza party. However, kuddos to both hotel staff and families on those teams - no kids running up/down hallways nor parents having socials all in one room/hallways!

Staff were fantastic & my son really liked the pool/waterslide/hot tub & that our room had a separate bedroom so he could go to sleep easier! Continental breakfast was good too, not a huge variety but enough (sausage, eggs, breads, cereal, fruit, yogurt). The whole place looked very clean.

I didn't love the beds or pillows but they were better than a lot of hotels (I didn't wake up with sore hips). Being right off MacLeod Trail (our bedroom faced it) was a little noisy traffic wise but once you're asleep it probably won't be an issue (unless an emergency vehicle passes with sirens going).

I like the pool area itI was very clean, the bed part of the room was nice and the vanity was huge. (Nice for getting ready aka hair and make up)

The bathroom shower was very unfinished, old and dirty. Taking a shower gave me the creeps because when you looked up, you can see splotches of mould or mildew… we also stayed on New Year’s Eve, so I felt like the hotel was very messy due to it being crowded maybe? There is things spilled in the elevator it made it sticky.

Ellen at the front desk when we arrived was very friendly, informative and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Very much appreciated the scrambled eggs & sausages breakfast. Close to the addresses I needed to visit. Other staff later on were very helpful.

The hotel was conveniently located to where I needed to be and to food, snacks and supplies. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The hot tub was nice and hot and the kids had an excellent time in the pool and on the slide. Breakfast had good things. Bagels, eggs, sausage, juice, coffee, you get the idea.

The elevators sounded scary, I am paranoid about elevators though to be fair, and the beds were not comfortable.

Great breakfast. Quiet, clean. Helpful staff. Close to all kinds of stores if you care. Pool looked like fun.

The signage from the entry rd was abysmal. A tiny little 8 sign nearly lost among the trees. The big building was there, but you weren’t looking up at that point! With the number of big trucks in Alberta, the parking spaces were small. Cars were lost in the fray.

I like the breakfast .. for me it is a good one to start our day … coffee is good . Location is great … few steps away from Walmart , restaurants , etc .. I highly recommend the area . No problem with parking . All the staff are friendly and helpful.

Empty body wash dispenser … but it was replenished promptly when iI asked for it ..

Breakfast is very good. Location allows easy access to south Calgary and surrounding area.

Shower handle needs to be fixed. I was only getting cold water, called the front desk and they told me the shower handle had been put on backwards. When I turned it on hot water came out versus having to fully turn it to the end like a regular shower handle.
