The hotel is like the pictures, colourful, with a great beachbar. Sunbeds on the beach are comfortable. Loved it! It is between trees that bri gs shadow on the terrace and the hammock area.

The staff were pleasant, and the sounding amazing! The pillows by the beach and the settings created a great atmosphere. The a la carte food was delicious, the breakfast had great days and mediocre days, the breads (small simit and Pogacas) were to die for. The spread of cheese and honey could however be better given the Turkish cuisine and Turkish breakfast culture is so rich. The dinner buffet had plenty of great options and the desserts were amazing.

Cleanliness was not something they did great. We had to ask several times to have a clean room - just as we had checked in. Customers were allowed to smoke inside the rooms which results in very smelly rooms, not something that could be washed off by a quick cleaning. In most hotels it is not allowed to smoke within the room because it’s not sustainable and makes the rooms smell. The smell was so distinct we could not be in the room without keeping the AC on. The rooms in general need to be gone through and updated. The rooms are just like in the pictures in terms of furniture but what you don’t see is that some things are not fully functioning. For example broken safety box, AC, shower head etc. these things needs some proper management. In addition the staff were great and sweet but clearly had not had any training. Whenever we asked for small service related things the answer was that “the big guys upstairs have said no.” The things we asked for was a white espresso cup to have our Turkish coffee (to be able to do the traditional fortune telling) and a spoon. Both of which they said that the “upstairs office have given strict directions to only serve espressos in the white cups” or “we cannot give you a tea-spoon to the tea you can only have this wooden stick. It’s been decided by the big office.” So either they haven’t had any training in hospitality and problem solving or their management needs a crash course in how to do services well.

- Friendly Staff. - Very beautiful and unique beach bar. - Beautiful terraces. - Very clean. - Very calm. - The surrounding bars and restaurants were beautiful and fun. - Calm and safe neighborhood to walk around. - A lot of markets in the neighborhood.

1. Food: - Food was not a 4 Stars Hotel food. - It was always COLD! Even Fish and meats were cold. - It was quite boring and almost the same every night. - Not much food options. - Very very very bad desserts and sweets ! Very cheap ingredients and not tasty at all! - Coffee was bad. 2. No WIFI in the room! Only downstairs.. 3. The Beach Bar’s menu was quite expensive , it was the most expensive one in the area. Moreover the drinks we tried weren’t even good.

The staff is trying to be helpful for all the issues. The beach is the nicest one on Bitez beach. The water was very clear and cool, the public on the beach was great. Liked the service at the beach. Safe box in the room. Big room. Everyone remembers your name. Nice milkshakes and good coffee for extra pay from the bar (can’t say the same about the coffee at the breakfast). Nice music the beach (though it was too loud sometimes). The staff is always cleaning something.

The staff mostly doesn’t speak English at all, with few exceptions (but it’s all Turkey problem). No WiFi in the rooms. No equipped places with both WiFi and electricity in public areas - you should choose between WiFi and electricity (no way to use a laptop). No detailed description of ingredients at the dinner together with poor English when you ask (for example, they say ‘meat’ but don’t say exactly what type of meat - pork, beef, lamb etc and don’t understand when you ask). Some strange greens on bath and toilet equipment (hope it wasn’t moulds). No towels for the beach. The long beds close to the pool were full of big insects even with nests - and I never seen people around it, perhaps it’s a reason. Very thin walls in the room or bad acoustics - you feel yourself like you are in public - you hear every step, every door slap like you are 1 m away. Big hungry dogs along the Bitez beach (not exactly in this hotel), sometimes it was a bit scary.
