The whole ambience around this fantastic dive resort is lovely. Friendly helpful staff, lovely location right on the beach, with long tail access to the large spacious Hydronauts Five Boat. The Barracuda restaurant has wonderful and varied food overlooking the bay and Hydrate bar with bean bags is perfect for sunset drink. Dive centre is very professional with really friendly and helpful instructors and dive leaders. Rooms are spacious and clean with a/c, coffee, good WiFi and a really comfortable bed :)

I liked everything.

We had a confortable stay. The room was wide and quiet, with a confortable bed and a handy little fridge. Plenty of services around, ATM, 7eleven, nice restaurants, motorbike renting, scuba diving schools (one in the same hotel). You can book snorkel and diving tours, they pick you up from the hotel reception. The staff was very kind. They allowed us to check-in a little earlier, as soon as they could have the room prepared (we arrived in the overnight ferry). They also answered all our queries patiently and managed booking the ferry to Bangkok for us. We really appreciate their kindness and good disposition.

The Chalok beach is a nice lookout but not so for having a swim. You definetely want to book a snorkel or dive tour, or walk to nearby bays, or rent a motorbike to explore more distant ones

Loved the warm welcome we received. The Staff were always smiling and always helpful. They are in position A on the best Beach in Koh Tao.You can really feel connected to the Island Vibe in this place.The room was oversized and we loved the individual wall mural that we woke to every morning.The Dive team are exceptional and totally professional. I felt safe and comfortable doing a refresher coarse with Cory and really enjoyed my day out diving. James the Dive instructor is outstanding. I only managed to eavesdrop on his lessons with his students but it was clear that he is exceptional at what he does and one of life's great communicators. If you are thinking of Diving in Koh Tao.....do it here.You won't be sorry 🙏

Just the firmness of the mattress. But that's just me being a pampered European.We actually slept really well

Great location Right on the beachfront Lots of cafés, restaurants, and bars close by 7/11 a couple of minutes walk away. Nice sandy beach to swim at and good for snorkeling off the beach Dive school within the resort Filtered water stations on every level to fill your own water bottles, no plastic bottles in the rooms

Unpleasant smells (possibly sewerage) at the back of the property when you are climbing the stairs to your room. Quite noisy with people walking past your room and walls are very thin, can hear extracurricular activities from other rooms 🤭🤣🤫

Staff were phenomenal, the owner in particular and the dive centre staff. It was a great budget option to stay in the dorm and later we stayed in a full room with AC that was also wonderful, albeit more expensive but we had hot water and AC, unlike the dorms. The dive centre itself is also excellent and patient and very very helpful and professional.

No complaints. Based on the room description and past reviews we knew the dorm didn't have hot water or AC, so it was totally no issue.

We got a really nice room, as close to the beach as possible. Best view ever over the bay! Great tacos at the restaurant. The staff in reception was very friendly and helpful, thanks for the stay! Rented a scooter just between hydronauts and 7/11, highly recommend as well!

We had some problems with our bathroom, but when we informed about it they fixed it right away. Nothing negative from my side, but good to know that the pool is mainly for the divers and it was almost all the time booked for them.

It’s a nice hotel with a nice beach with good food. Nice rooms with everything you need. AC worked well. It was (like everywhere) a bit poorly soundproved but as people are at bed around 10pm and also the house bar closes at 10pm it‘s completely silent by then and no problem to sleep (divers have to get up at 6 for the morning dives). The location was perfect too as it‘s not in the main tourist part of koh tao but it has everything you need in 2 min foot distance. For the diving people: really good diving company with new and safe equipment and lovely diving masters.

The WiFi was enough to write messages but most of the time didn‘t manage to load pictures fast or to facetime.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. Staff very friendly both resort and diving center. Great location. It was great, that you could fill up your water bottle with drinking water on every floor. I did 18 fun dives with hydronauts and it was great. Every gide/divemaster/instructor i had was awesome. Big plus that the groups are small with max 4 people. Restaurant had really good food, but there is a bunch of other good restaurant around. I would highly recommend it and already thinking of going back there next year.

Really a nice place to stay, I was there for 13 day and I shared the room only with another person with a private bathroom. So for what you pay it’s more than worth it. They have a private parking to leave your scooter. I felt very safe and having the beach just in front was just perfect. Just a note: They cleaned only when there was a check out, otherwise nothing. But overall a nice stay so I would recommend it and I would stay there if I’m back to the island.

The locations was great and right on the beach. They have a restaurant/café at the place with view to the beach and ocean, where you can get great Fruit Shakes, coffee and food. Very convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The matresses in rooms on 2nd floor could be replaced with more comfortable mattresses. The rooms on 1st floor has more suitable mattresses, but his was nothing that destroyed our stay and the staff was friendly, when we asked for a duvet to place under the sheet.
