We stayed for 4 nights in September and this place is just something else. When arriving from the busy road of Chaweng, it's hard to believe just how stunning it is behind there. The rooms These are individual cottages and all secluded behind greenery so the privacy was perfect. It was so quiet, peaceful and secluded that you forgot you were actually staying in a resort. They're a good size with all the facilities you'd need. The bed was unbelievably comfy and the pillows perfect. The bathroom has a garden feature in it which is uncovered (with a net on the roof). It was quite surreal having a shower and watching the rain come down on the garden in the bathroom! Everything is stocked and cleaned daily (minibar and fridge included) The grounds These are just beautiful - you feel like you're in the middle of the jungle. Covered in trees with little rivers running through. Not to mention the small ponds with fish in them. The grounds are well maintained. The pool is an ok size, but the beach is one of the best parts that we didn't bother with the pool. Restaurant/bar Happy hour every day 5-7pm. As you'd expect, it's just a lovely little setting. He had the breakfast and that was a standard buffet with egg/omelette station. The food in the restaurant was delicious though. Staff This was where it was exceptional and you really feel that it's a step above. All the staff were so polite and friendly and couldn't do enough for you - all with huge smiles on their faces. Going to the beach, they put the towels on our sunbeds, brought us iced water and kept us topped up throughout the day. Also, it was my partner's birthday whilst we were there, so they decorated the bed for us. Lovely touch. We did have a problem with our A/C, so I reported to reception. Within about 5 minutes then maintenance team were here and fixing it.

Beautiful gardens, cute and comfortable accommodation in individual bungalows. The staff couldn't do enough to help you and were so friendly. Also the street the hotel is located on has several great restaurants and is out of the main, touristy Chaweng area. It's really lovely.

The sea is very rough and red flags were out every day, meaning you couldn't go in the water. Also the bar and restaurant are very quiet with not much atmosphere so we always ate elsewhere. Breakfast didn't have much choice but was ok.

A very well organized hotel. Situated far enough from Chaweng centre to avoid overcrowded neighbourhood but easy to reach it. Accommodation is in nice cottages, located in beautiful tropical garden. The restaurant is next to the sandy beach, serving decent breakfast. Also, possible to have a dinner in the same restaurant with delicious food. I would like to emphasise professional and welcoming staff and a calm atmosphere. Everything is sparkly clean. The manager Miss Ame is making great job. New Year Eve dinner and show were great. Thank yoo.Highly recommended!

Anavana was so much more than I expected. I have wanted to stay here for years and it didn't disappoint. The staff are amazing, friendly and provide great service. They even remembered my birthday and brought me out the most amazing surprise cake with candles and a song- I was really touched by this gesture. The rooms are big and clean. The mattress is comfortable and the indoor/outdoor bathroom is great too. This is the best part of the beach and it's away from the noise further up. We will be staying here again for sure.

I recently stayed at the Anavana Hotel in Thailand, and it was an amazing experience! The staff were super friendly and always ready to help, making me feel right at home. The rooms were clean and cozy, with beautiful views. I loved the pool area; it was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. This place is a gem. 4 nights here after a long journey from the UK via Bangkok and what a place to unwind. Stunning apartment, boutique vibes, spa facilities with massage treatments & a beautiful pool & restaurant with stunning food all right on the beach. The rooms are beautifully done, good air con, massive beds, the bathroom was my favorite - comes with special soaps which smell devine. We barely left the resort it was so good. Swimming & sunbathing while the staff look after you - everything you need for a luxury stay with a very reasonable price tag. Highly recommend. ☀️☀️☀️

There’s also a lovely bar with a great Happy Hour – the cocktails are absolutely delicious – and a restaurant that serves both Thai and Western cuisine, equally tasty and satisfying. Annavana’s location is perfect: close to everything you might need, including shops, restaurants, and the town center – yet just far enough to remain peaceful and untouched by the noise of parties or beach clubs. It strikes the perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility. Some evenings during the week, you can also enjoy shows, such as traditional dances or fire performances – adding a vibrant cultural touch to your stay. We stayed for ten days in total, and we genuinely had a fantastic time. As a little bonus, there’s even a gym and a shower available after check-out, which is perfect if you have a late departure.

The breakfast

I spent a fabulous weekend at Anavana, and everything was just perfect from beginning to end. The manager of the hotel Jimmy was incredibly attentive and made sure I felt welcome and cared for throughout my stay. I was truly charmed by the setting. Although the hotel is located near a lively shopping street, it feels completely secluded, as if you’re surrounded by nature – with trees, small streams, and the sound of birds in the morning. What I especially loved was the intimate and cozy atmosphere. The room was more like a spacious cottage: cool, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully prepared. A fruit basket welcomed me on arrival, and the bathroom was super elegant. The spa itself was also fantastic – definitely worth a visit if you’re staying here. The seaside dining area was another highlight: great food, fast service. All the positive reviews I had read before coming turned out to be absolutely true – and now I understand why.

🌴 Beautiful Hotel Right on the Beach 🌴 This hotel with its 24 bungalows is an absolute dream! Everything is super clean and very comfortable. The food tastes excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful – you feel welcome from the very first moment. The location is truly unique: sunbeds right on the beach, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. One of the highlights is going for a morning run along Chaweng Beach – simply unforgettable. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back! 🌺

We stayed 5 nights in October (low season) The location was perfect for my wife and I, The resort is absolute beachfront location, we stayed in a beautiful peaceful Deluxe Cottage, plenty of seating areas, also nice clean pool too, located in quieter more private part of Chaweng Beach, easy walk along beach to hub area of Chaweng if that is what you like. Also located next to 7Eleven for snacks etc. great food venues within walking distance too. Breakfast was good, not massive selection, but plenty of choice, and they can accommodate for dietary needs. Restaurant dinner was excellent, quality was great. Yes you can buy cheaper outside resort, however beautiful setting overlooking beach, pool areas with night entertainment was just too good. The manager and staff were friendly and their service was exceptional.
