We had an incredible stay at Chao Motel during our recent trip to Taoyuan, Taiwan. This was my first trip to Asia and my first trip to Taiwan, so I didn’t know what to expect. I had reached out to the motel prior to our trip with questions and they were very responsive, which I was very impressed with their customer service. The rooms were immaculately clean, modern, and well-equipped with thoughtful amenities like a spacious shower and high-quality toiletries. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep every night. I really appreciate the air purifier in the room. My mom got sick on day 2 of our trip and I truly believe the air purifier and daily cleanliness prevented me from getting the same throat infection my mom had. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were always ready to assist with calling a taxi for us, and provided helpful recommendations for local attractions and dining. The motel’s location was another highlight – conveniently situated near restaurants, shops, and public transportation, making it easy to explore Taoyuan and beyond. Chao Motel also stood out for its peaceful atmosphere, which was perfect for relaxing after long days of sightseeing. Our family, including my 13-year-old daughter, found it to be the ideal base for our trip. The breakfast was delicious and was included. I chose this motel because it offered both western and Taiwanese cuisine. You can get eggs made to order every morning and their special meal of sirloin beef, shrimp and squid was delicious! My daughter loved her scrambled eggs and chicken nuggets. We enjoyed the variety of foods too. There is a car port/garage where you can park your car and the room is above on the second floor. I never stayed in an accommodation like this before but I loved it and so did my family. We highly recommend this motel for anyone looking for exceptional service, comfort, and convenience in Taoyuan.

The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very lovely, very helpful. As the rooms are independent of each other and attached to a garage as well as pet-friendly, I can see how families doing car-trips, with their pets would enjoy the stay.

It wasn’t very clean and the room had a lingering but strong cigarette smell when we first checked-in. The decor was quite strange, maybe it was more designed with love-hotel/short term clients in mind?

Excellent location, and really good value for money. The breakfast was incredibly good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed during the recent typhoon, due to a delayed flight, and it was the ideal place to wait out the storm.

An earlier guest had clearly been smoking in the room, and so the room still smelled of smoke.

The breakfast is fantastic, varieties of choice, daily special is so special and tasty. On our check out day, early morning at 6 am, the breakfast is served and sent to our unit before 6 am. The food is well-packed.

We need to carry out luggage via staircases to our unit. Hence, we left our luggage downstairs.

The facilities were good and the place is close to places such as mini marts and bus stops. It is also 15 to 20 minutes away from the airport. The room feels very safe. You can drive your car there as each room has its own garage

Good selection at buffet style breakfast with choice between 2 hot menu items that are cooked to order. Room was spacious and comfortable.

Bath tub plug was not fully sealed in closed position so water would drain when bath was filled.

I love the motel concept. It has a cover parking garage under each unit. If you drive, this is a great place to stay. There breakfast also good too.

Their basin got no place to put our toiletries .

Good and comfortable environment. Excellent and cozy breakfast environment. Staffs are very polite and welcoming. Very satisfied with our stay.

Location is a bit far from taoyuan night market, but its an acceptable walk. The toilet is very big and clean, but would appreciate if there is a platform in the toilet to put toileteries

The breakfast variety and taste are quite impressive. The dining environment is modern and comfortable. The service of the staff is great and friendly. Overall the room is good. Nearby lots of restaurants and convenient stores.

Very nice breakfast. Staff are nice and helpful. Room is good for the 4 of us. Layout is great, kids sleep in room with 2 big singles, parents sleep outside on the double. 2 bathrooms with showers and a bathtub. Carpark is free. Can't ask for more for the price.
