Room overlooks the surrounding mountains. Clean, warm and spacious. Adequate sitting for 2 persons. Bed is comfortable but with only one pillow per person. The buffet breakfast has a small but adequate spread of eastern and western dishes. The food s a nice tea room on site but we didn’t have the time to enjoy it.

Not easy to get to the property if without a car. If one is unable to make it to the dinner at the accommodation, highly unlikely one is able to get any cook food nearby. So do bring your pot noodle with you. The property doesn’t provide hand or face towel. Bath towels need to be replaced.

friendly staff, totally over the top nice and thoughtful services throughout our stay, gave on point and adequate recommendations, really care about our trip and overall wellbeings. The room looks like some standard spacious cabin, but when i look close, everything is clean, even the gaps in the wooden slats so shows the staffs really makes effort in cleaning the rooms carefully and thoroughly. Amazing view from our room, we could stare at the mountains for a long long time. Will definitely come back.

Room had an amazing view from the balcony / shower (note the shower is not open air and there is a glass separating). The toilet is a Japanese style toilet with bidet and heated seats which is comfortable! The location of the hotel is great, one of the most north hotels closest to cingjing farm, and a downhill walk to nearest amenities. Note that the hotel is located off the main road with either a ride or walk in. The hotel arranges a pickup service from Taichung HSR station (via a local bus agency OKbus) which was very convenient. Front counter also offered us an upgrade (paid) for our room to a larger room

Front counter staff were not as welcoming as hoped. Toilet had a mild smell after the first day

The view is insane… My wife and I love it so much that we’ll want to come back to Cingjing and possibly stay at this place again! It’s a quaint little cottage that just feels so warm and cozy. It makes you rest. A good break from the modern and busy world.

Soundproofing could be better. Could hear floor creaking caused by the people above because it’s a wooden floor. We stayed at the room nearest to the breakfast place so we could hear some noises in the morning..

Very relaxing and superb view. One of my best choice of hotel. Very peaceful and quiet as well.

Traveling with old folks and toddler can be a challenge staying at qingjing. Lots of stairs and down slope and is pitch dark after 8pm. You need to find your own transport or ask the hotel staff to help you book a taxi. And also please take note that they DO NOT accept any credit card. Only cash. Hence please ensure you pay beforehand via booking.com website if not bring along cash. Nearest 7/11 is 5 mins drive from villa.

Wow, what a beautiful place! The room was very spacious and spacious. Friendly staff and they arrange pick up and drop off to restaurants at night.

Limited western breakfast options, but that wasn't too much of a problem.

Excellent location with well appointed room. The view was spectacular and the whole area was very comfortable. Within good walking distance of the township and restaurants. Breakfast was good and the view from the cafe was lovely.

The walk from the villa to outside amenities is quite a long walk

Breathtaking views. Room are very unique with the bedroom on the 2nd floor. Tatami mat on the ground floor, nice Japanese feel.

Not very suitable for elderly as stairs are very narrow and toilet is at the lower floor. Hotel staff was very kind to provide additional blanket to make a make shift bed.

The place was well maintained and really quite and peaceful. The view from our balcony was taking our breath away . The hosts always keep us informed and updated when the road or weather condition has changed ( a week before we arrived ) . The buffet breakfast were good selection with eastern and western food combination.
