I had issues with the train schedule, and the staff helped me to be able to get into the hotel and pickup my room even after the reception time. It was a great thing to have, since I did not have to worry about where I'll spend the night after I arrive with such a delay. The breakfast is nice, the room is fine, especially that the streets there are not noisy. Close to the train station, as well as to the lake (even if I couldn't visit that side). It was my second stay here, and will stay here too when I'll come back again. Both the restroom and the bathroom was clean all the time.

This is a beautiful hotel in a perfect central location, very reasonable in price (especially for the region). The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, with delicious fresh bread, fruit, cheese, eggs--and loads of choice. The room was comfortable and cleaned daily. As expected, I had an en suite toilet and washbasin, with a shower on the corridor, but there was never competition for the shower. Having some mobility difficulties I was pleased that there was a lift to my second-floor room, the shower was accessible and there were just a couple of steps to navigate.

The room was quiet enough with the window closed, but a bit noisy in the mornings if it's opened (though this can't be helped in such a central location). The shower room is a little small making it hard to move around and get dressed.

I spent a few days here during the school mid-term February break. Having lived in the canton of Vaud several years ago, I like to spend time here visiting my favourite places. The XVIème is an historic building right in the centre of the old town of Nyon, just a short walk from both the railway station and the lake. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the restaurant offers the best of Swiss cuisine. This was my second stay here and there will be many more.

My recent stay at Hostellerie du XVI Siècle was delightful. From the moment we walked in, the staff's warmth and helpfulness made us feel right at home. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and boasted the kind of comfort that made winding down after a day of work an absolute pleasure. Plus, the hostel's prime location meant that everything we needed was just a stone's throw away.

If I had to nitpick, it would be that the walls are a tad thin, allowing some noise from neighboring rooms to seep through. However, this minor inconvenience paled in comparison to the overall fantastic experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Hostellerie du XVI Siècle to anyone seeking a cozy and convenient stay in Nyon.

Isolation not that good Special message for the person in the room next door Thank you so much to start making call at 6:30 in the morning and scream on your phone. I have no idea how this person was capable to do a monologue of almost two hours without letting the other person speak. Your conversation had no sense, and how can you put 5x a “anyway” in each of your sentence. This has nothing to do with the hotel which is perfectly fine but I truly hope that my neighbor can see this message.

Thé warmth and sincerity of the welcome; unfailing helpfulness of hosts and staff; clean and comfortable; great restaurant with ambience and location making this superb value for money for guests who care about true hospitality.

As a highly mobile professional, having an area set up with a couple of work stations and a printer would have been welcome, but with my budget, the hotel exceeded expectations in every other way. I

Location very central to all shops, train/bus. Room very roomy and excellently fitted out. Breakfast included in the price, and excellent choice and swift service. Meals (lunch/dinner) optional and very good value for 3 courses. Excellent food. Staff could not do enough for me, from front of house to cleaning staff. I would recommend this place highly.

I cannot think of a thing to improve. Never have I stayed anywhere so perfect.

The hotel is housed in a historical building from 1597, I was told. I often stay there when I visit Nyon and you always feel welcome by the owner. Location in the very centre of Nyon. Recommended to book a room with shower in the room, rather than the cheaper rooms with the shared shower in the corridor.

Beautiful 16th century building in the heart of the old town of Nyon, within easy walking distance of the railway station. Room was large and comfortable and the staff were all extremely welcoming. Excellent restaurant with local specialities. Very peaceful and quiet at night, with no traffic noise whatsoever.
