We had a fantastic one-night stay at NH Bern The Bristol! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which set the tone for an unforgettable experience. But the surprises didn’t stop there – the staff also made our stay even more memorable by giving us a free drinks ticket at the bar, which was a lovely gesture. Our room was stylish, new, and spotless. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night, and the spacious bathroom with all the necessary amenities was perfect. With such a great location in the heart of Bern, exploring the city was a breeze. It was the perfect base for our short visit, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Bern, even if just for one night!

We had a flawless stay, with no issues at all.

The property was in a great location - really central and close to the main train station. The breakfast had a good selection and was tasty. The room was clean and had everything I needed. The staff were lovely, and I particularly appreciated Costa looking after my two friends in reception while I went upstairs to get my things together to leave.

The room was “cosy” as it had slanted ceilings and the shower on/off buttons kept sticking so it took me a while to get them to turn off the first time I used the shower.

The property was clean, and the staff was attentive. We had a problem with our air conditioner leaking water. (It was extremely hot in Switzerland). Within 5 minutes of calling the front desk, two staff members arrived, accessed the situation; and in 15 mins. we were moved to another room and given a free breakfast for our troubles. Although I was not aware of any on site restaurants, there were myriad options locally.

I really can't find a fault with this hotel without comparing it to hotels outside of this price range. I guess one small thing would be that the cleaning staff starts a little early and makes a lot of noise. Not a problem for visitors that wake up early anyway due to the time difference.

Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in Bern. The location is very convenient, the rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable (especially the beds) but the highlight was how friendly and helpful the staff were. A big thank you to the female worker who checked us in. I wish I got her name (she grew up in Bern, also worked in Grindelwald previously) she was so friendly, gave us heaps of recommendations, and we felt so welcomed by her. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was in an ideal location, close to the main train station and easy to navigate our suitcases to as there were no stairs to contend with. The room was quite large and comfortably allowed for our luggage (2 medium sized suitcases plus 2 backpacks). There was ample storage with a cupboard that had lots of shelves. The bathroom was a decent size and had space to place our toiletry bags. The breakfast was very good and even had a hot breakfast.

The shower head was very large but did not wet you enough (I know this sounds odd but was true!) and so we had to use the hand held shower to make sure all the soap was washed off.

Everything about the property was absolutely amazing. We were super close to the train station. We were welcomed with smiles and offered every opportunity for customer service that you can imagine! We stored our bags early so that we could begin to see the town and right after we left, they let us know our room was ready early, which was a great treat for us. Costa was outstanding and we can’t say enough nice things about him! We will make sure to recommend this phenomenal venue to all of our family and friends.

Location and cleanliness and Manuel and Shaninr were excellent. They gave us so much info and were both very welcoming.

The bar /restaurant was closed for 2 of our nights stay out of 4. We really didn’t want to wonder the streets at night. Also building work going on next door / opposite which started at 5am. This all is the only reason I wouldn’t stay again. It was a lovely hotel with excellent Manuel and Shanine who were so helpful and friendly.

The location was great , 2 minutes from the train station and next to the shops, restaurants and the main points of interests . The hotel has a beautiful design , is very clean and the rooms are spacious , the shower is very good . The breakfast was excelent , lots of choices and very tasty . The lady who was looking after us for breakfast , every morning ( I’m really sorry that I don’t know her name ) was so nice and always trying her best to accommodate us / thank you so much !

The location of the hotel is great it was literally a walking distance from the main train station and from downtown Bern the room was very spacious and we had more than enough space to even open our 3 big luggage comfortably. the staff at the reception were very friendly and quick in checking us in & they offer free city pass but sadly we didn't use it as we only spent the day in downtown Bern on foot.

We loved this hotel and have stayed before. The location is perfect with wonderful restaurants close by. The room was brilliant and the breakfast exceptional.

Well, we were promised a free drink if we didn't have our room cleaned. We never got that. Also I ordered breakfast for one morning only as we were leaving very early the next day. Having checked my invoice I noticed that I had been charged for two mornings breakfast. I told reception but it was the night porter who was on. I emailed them and explained. I have had no reply after 2 weeks so have again emailed requesting a refund. Fingers crossed.
