The room is very simple but perfect for a short stay in the city. The check in process was unique but straightforward, and the location was very convenient. The room itself was warm, cosy, with a comfortable bed and functioning shower. WiFi was good but no tv in the room. The social areas downstairs were nice and spacious, however we had to resort to sitting downstairs to charge our phones as the sockets in the room were not suitable for our adaptors; they did not fit so we were restricted. The sockets downstairs were more flat so the adaptors we had could fit better. Overall, lovely room, lovely location, would come back again if for another short stay!

The 24/7 online service is really great! Specially, Aicha was very helpful! They helped me to found the room for early checking my flight was in early morning, I received my Basel card via email prior my arrival I received the codes to my room via email in advance to my arrival for me was really great service! The hotel is well located, close to Claraplaz, there is close enough lot of small restaurants. There is Aldi, Mueller, Lidl. The room was clean and tidy, you have a bottle of water free of charge in the room when you arrive.. A little suggestion, how does it work to enter your room – you have a little box on the door please you need to scroll down the black window to pop up the code, when you enter the codes, there is a little button on the left-hand side. You need to push it down to open the box with a key. This is a very simple hotel for the price is good . Towels, toilet paper, washing liquids, hairdryer are provided I would suggest to bring your own cutlery, cups or mug. I had my own tea or coffee brought with me because they’re not free of charge here.

The walls are really thin, no good isolation you can hear talking in the next-door, neighbor, toilet flushing, but again it’s not in all room the same my friend stayed in the same floor different room. She didn’t hear any toilet flashing at all. I’d like to mention that there is no kitchen or there is but you need to pay extra value to get in for 25CHF. There is a living room where there is a coffee machine and cattle for the coffee you need to pay extra. I think 1 CHF.

This was the cheapest option available at the time of booking so I didn’t expect much, having had a bad experience in another city at a place with similar ratings and description. I was pleasantly surprised by this place! It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We even had an ensuite with a shower with good water pressure and temperature control! And we were each provided with a bottle of water which we appreciated! The room was spacious and comfortable and although the walls are quite thin (we could hear people sneezing in the rooms next us and their conversations), it was not too noisy at night to prevent us from sleeping. We didn’t fill in the form to get the check in codes until right before we wanted to check in (our bad, we could have done it days in advance) but we received the codes within a few minutes so it was no problem. All in all it was comfortable and convenient and I would definitely stay here again.

Didn’t love having to send our IDs and personal details over a web form in order to check in but it all worked ok.

I liked everything the cleanliness. The self checking. the vibe. the decor and the location. above all the customer services and 24/7 availability of customer services. I would like to mention Aicha who helped me the most and Maryem who was exceptionally great in providing help and support. I must say I have I haven't seen such dedicated customer services. Both of them resolved many issues that arised during my trip especially when my flight was cancelled and I had to extend the booking etc. great help. welldone to the whole team. God bless.

I'm absolutely thrilled with this hotel and highly recommend it to everyone! The room exceeded all my expectations: The spacious layout and stylish, modern design create a feeling of home A huge, comfortable bed with premium bedding – I slept like a baby Panoramic windows with stunning views of the city or nature (depending on the hotel's location) Impeccable cleanliness throughout the room Thoughtful details: plenty of outlets, excellent lighting, a comfortable work area But the main thing is the exceptional service. The staff anticipates all desires and resolves any issues instantly. You really feel like an important guest. The hotel's location is also ideal – just a stone's throw from all the attractions and transport. Over the years of traveling, I've stayed in many hotels, but this is definitely in my personal top 3. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates comfort and quality service!

I find this hotel very respectable. I liked the location. There is a street nearby with shops and restaurants. The 8 tram stop is close, which can take you to the Old Town in 8-10 minutes, and with the Basel card, transportation is free. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds, a clean bathroom, and good toiletries. I should also mention the staff, who were available 24/7 and assisted with all inquiries. The room is bright.

I didn't find any drawbacks in this hotel. I consider it the perfect combination of price and quality for the city of Basel.

The hotel is well located close to the river and near the city center. It has a very tasteful interior design and is indeed cozy:-) There is no staff but with our questions we where very quickly helped by friendly staff over the online chat function.

-The Check In was a bit annoying with the Touch screen to enter code at the front door not working so well. -There are a LOT of emails. I think it would be possible to send less of them with still giving all the necessary information.

The check in was super easy. I was really nervous about the check in because of the reviews but it was so easy and seamless. The décor throughout the hotel is lovely, it's cute and bright. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. The property is very near a tram stop into Basel so it was ideal. There was also a nice park nearby, where a jazz band was playing at night. The room was quiet with the window closed.

The area felt slightly unsavoury at night. It was lovely during the day but at night it was not very nice. There was someone asleep on the couch in the common area for like 5 hours which was unfortunate because we could not use the coffee or tea section (which had no milk anyways). We had a scary incident at night, a man was banging on the door trying to get in and he did not seem to be the friendliest. Also be prepared for how expensive the restaurants in Basel are.

Oh shoot we didn't realize there was breakfast. It wasn't mentioned and we woke up late. We liked the bed, the sheets, that we could control the heat, huge window, the lobby, the coffee machine etc. everything was nicely and calmly decorated. The check in and checkout process was so easy.

Maybe a full length mirror in the lobby or in the corridors.. During vacations it is hard to maintain looks and well lit mirrors help I think. Converters for the sockets would have been appreciated.

Life chat was very helpful and fast First room that was provided for me wasn't ready, Maryem from life chat support fixed everything fast and I got upgrade for free, thanks for that. As well as next day my request was answered fast and efficient. Wi fi fast, no problem with that

Cleanignes could be improved in rooms and kitchen Empty shampoo and conditioner in bathroom. Soccer is 'different shape', so I couldn't plug some of my devises, and couldn't charge my laptop Lounge area is big and cozy, there is free water and coffee, which is lovely, but no cups to use
