700 years old hotel, all in statues and paintings, each room is dedicated to a different sailor, soulful hotel! 🥰 The breakfast is small, but has everything! and is in the basement where you can touch the preserved parts of the old building, a direct excavation! In the corridor of each floor there is a small tea/coffee, sugar etc. Station to drink whenever you please. In 50 meters there is a street with souvenirs, 3 minutes from the royal palace.

Victory Hotel was a fantastic find for us. It has a unique character as a family-run business and feels almost like a museum in itself. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived quite early and, understandably, couldn’t check in right away, but we were able to leave our bags and explore the Old Town and nearby museums. The hotel messaged us as soon as our room was ready. The room had a wonderful bathroom, and we really enjoyed a relaxing bath after a long walk. The breakfast selection was excellent—we truly enjoyed it. We were also able to leave our bags after check-out before heading to our final destination, which was very convenient. All the top restaurants were within a five-minute walk from the hotel. We absolutely loved both the hotel and the city of Stockholm, and we’d love to come back again. Thank you!

Location was great, nicely located in the old town, cobbled streets, close to shops, restaurants and walking distance to ferries and trains. Restful sleep is important to us after a busy day sightseeing and the bed was extremely comfortable. Room size was okay however shower recess was quite small. Breakfast was excellent, the two lady staff in the breakfast room were extremely efficient, ensuring counters were wiped down and monitoring food levels and replacing before any items ran out. Reception staff were really friendly and helpful too.

If we had to fault anything, it would be there are no tea and coffee facilities in the room. There is a small bench with kettle, tea, coffee etc a short walk up the hallway, robes are provided so hubby did the coffee runs :) and the shower recess was a little small.

This morning at breakfast, I watched as Mari & Emma carefully wipe yougurt drips of jugs, evened out the cream cheese in the bowl, place cheese and deli meats so carefully and precisely on the plates. It absolutely filled my heart with joy at their loving attention to detail and genuinely bought a tear to my eyes. I actually wanted to clap 👏👏👏👏 My room has been spotless every day when I have returned from my adventures, even though I make my own bed, and tidy my room just like I would at home, they straighten everything up to make it perfect 🙏😇 When I was checking out today I got to see my favorite Louisa, a beautiful young lady who I've had the pleasure of meeting and who has let me take way too many "Marianne" sweets🍬, along with David & Stefan they have made this stay and experience one I will never forget 😊☺️😇

Our stay at the hotel was excellent, and much exceeded our expectations compared to service we have received elsewhere. The staff was nice and attentive, calm, knowledgeable, while helping us out with our bags. We also received a complimentary port wine in our room served with black chocolate, a nice welcome gift. The bed was comfy, all the sockets functioned great, the view was very nice from our room, the walls, tables, etc felt very solid and in place. The bathroom a sort of anti-slip material on the floor, which was great for when you got out of the shower. The toilet felt very grounded and solid. They offer a hair dryer, a cleaning service for your clothes, hand soap paired with moisturizer, as well as body wash, shampoo and hair conditioner. Nice feel on the shower heads. Highlight was the way the light in the bathroom works. All the light switches in the room are unique and feel great, for that matter; and you can adjust how bright they are to your preference. The memorabilia/room decoration is very beautiful and added an awesome breath of life to the room. The lobby is stunning, and the stairs too. I do recommend taking the stairs all the way up at least once! 3 minute walk from the Gamla Stan Tunnelbana. Extremely convenient. One stop away from T-Centralen. Breakfast was probably the best I've ever had. Two types of bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes, dozens of toppings for these, as well as cold cuts and Swedish delicacies, such as cold smoked herring, herring with sour cream and caviar sauce, etc. Good gluten-free options for those who need them. Really nice teas and freshly squeezed fruit juices. Overall, a 10/10 from me and my girlfriend.

The property is well-located in one part of Gamla Stan which is just a short walk to the various dining, shopping areas, and key sites. The staff is very service-oriented! We really feel we got all the help we asked for. The room is not big but very comfortable. The aircon, which is rare among Gamla Stan properties, is a big help. The breakfast is a highlight and has a good spread. For those with several pieces of luggage, just take note that taxis can only access the front of the hotel itself from 6am - 11am since the street of the hotel is a "no car zone" outside these hours.

There was no mini-ref, kettle for boiling water, nor coffee maker. There was also no reasonably priced laundry options in or near the hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right in on the edge of the Old City, so walking is easy to everything on the island. It's easy to walk to the ferry to go to other islands or take a boat tour. They do have a restaurant, but you need to book early because it's very popular. It's also close to the Central Train Station, about a 15 minute walk on city streets. Be aware that during certain times of the day, cabs can only take you so far into the old city. This hotel is quite close to that line, about a half block so it's easy to walk a few meters to the door with your bags.

The internet signal in the room was often weak, but the staff helped with that. My husband had a business zoom while we were there and the staff got him a Wi-Fi signal that worked for it. This was the only negative and they fixed it.

Lovely hotel right in the Old Town. Beautifully decorated as mentioned in other reviews. Friendly staff on the front desk and good breakfast. Onsite sauna and relaxation room - very chilled place for a couple of hours relaxation. Nice buzzy atmosphere in the bar at night. The restaurant was busy but didn't try it. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby including a micro brewery right across the street. 2min walk to metro stop. Tea/coffee making facilities on the corridor which although seems a strange concept works really well giving you more space in our already large room even with the massive bed. Towelling robes available for use and a free glass of port on arrival! Would highly recommend for a stay in Stockholm.

The hotel is ideally located in Stockholm's old town. It is beautifully decorated and clean. Breakfast was superb. The port and chocolate that were waiting for me in the room were a wonderful welcome treat.

The safe in the room was too small, so I wasn't able to store my standard-size laptop in it. Having a safe that is big enough to store laptops is a standard in most hotels today. In addition, as a rather tall person (1.89 m), it was less convenient to use the shower, and while lying on bed, my feet would touch the opposite wall. It was a single room, so maybe tall people should consider booking one of the bigger room types?

We loved this hotel. Heart of the old city, close to so many restaurants and fun nightlife without having to go to the newer part of the city with nightclubs. The bed was so comfortable, the room so well appointed, and the hotel is so charming. And the breakfast was fantastic! If we come back to Stockholm, we would stay here again, no need to look further.

Nothing could have been better. It was such a pleasant place to stay. We "ruffed" it a bit with travel to Morocco before coming to Stockholm, and was so delighted to have the Victory hotel to rest and relax. Do not change a thing!
