The location was right in the best shopping and fine dining area, we walked everywhere. Great family room for our 4 kids, ask for bunk beds if they rather not sleep on a sofa double. (We were lucky they could change the room last minute) Breakfast included for this rate, and I mean a full choice of breakfast. Great atmosphere in the hotel, lively hotelbar on weekends and many clubs nearby. (Ear plugs provided in room, we didn't need them on the 5th)

Small things: not enough shell space, showers that flood the bathroom if you're not careful, limited and small elevators for the size of the hotel.

Located in a historic building, the hotel blends the old with the new with great effect. My room was spacious, well appointed, had a 12-foot ceiling and was decorated beautifully. The bed was comfortable and so were the pillows. There’s a plush toy dog on the bed when you arrive—I’ve been missing my dogs while travelling, so this was a lovely, homely touch. Breakfast is very good, although a little chaotic. Staff throughout were friendly and helpful. The location is fabulous. Close to the subway (tunelbana), bus stops and as many amazing shops, restaurants and bars you could ever desire.

The bathroom in 219 is tired. It has a giant jet bath but the front cover has come loose. The shower is not great—water runs straight out of the base, across the floor and into the overflow drain beneath the bath. The room was dark. Even in summer, very little light makes it into the room from the internal atrium. Fortunately the room is well-lit, but you do need to have the lights on. No iron was provided. No in-room fridge.

+ The building itself is a historical one and it shows everywhere, in a positive sense. The ambiance is therefore truly unique and you can really feel royal. Of course, the bathrooms may be bigger or smaller (some things simply cannot be changed in old buildings), we got the smaller one but I still found it nice. + Apartment was very richly decorated, everything was clean, it was spacious and also a dog (stuffed toy) was waiting for us so we could sleep with it :) + Tea and coffee set was in the room + Breakfasts weren't too rich but also not that poor and were very tasty in general. I guess it's a local specificity that they don't need too many products for breakfast. A big plus is that the breakfast room was never overcrowded. + Staff are friendly and helpful. They can keep your luggage for you after the check-out, at no fee of course. + There's a bar right next to the reception so if you feel like having a drink then you can always come here :) + In the hall between the rooms there's a library with lots of books on history of Sweden and Stockholm (but not only of this kind), also a round table to sit at, comfy armchairs and a sofa.

I wouldn't say it's a big minus cause personally I don't mind walking some 20 minutes to the Royal Palace but if you don't like walking and also don't want to use public transport then bear in mind that the hotel is not situated strictly in the city centre where most of tourist attractions can be found.

The room was beautiful and bigger than I expected, the decor is 10/10, it really has a great vibe. The breakfast is also really good with many options and a very generous time window so you don't have to wake up too early to get food. The location is great as well, very very close to the center but far enough that it's less crowded. The staff is super friendly and the bar in the hotel is also lovely.

The AC in our room was not working and it was really warm, we tried sleeping with the windows open but it was way too loud outside so we ended up just being way too warm and I couldn't really rest. We were given a small fan but it didn't really help.

Beautiful architecture of the building, cozy interior. The hotel is in the very comfortable location, near some tourist visited places (as Gamla Stan) and metro (so you have good connection with the city). Breakfast was good, pleasant staff. Our room was calm, in the side of the Norrlandsgatan, so we didn't need to use ear plugs (but it's pleasant that it was thought aboy them). Good quality of shampoo, hand cream, ect. Information leaflets, heartwarming detail - plush dog on the bed.

We had everything that we expected. Just didn't understand what was in room the part of a bar for an additional fee & what was a gift for guests (for example instant coffee packets), so didin't take anything. But it was not a problem, if we had the need we could ask.

This is a very old, historic hotel, in the exclusive shopping district of Stockholm. It was what I would describe as 'shabby-chic'; eg we had a chandelier in our room but it had quite a few bits broken and missing. The beds were large and comfy and perfect for a family of 4, nice bathroom and lovely breakfast. Location is great for getting around - we were mainly on foot but also bought a travelcard and used the commuter ferries to explore the city (5 mins away form hotel).

It's hard to complain because the hotel is obviously very old, so I'm not sure if updating it would spoil its charm. It was very noisy in the street at night, until 3am when it suddenly went silent! The hotel provided earplugs in the room.

The location was absolutely perfect, within walking distance to the shopping street(s), clubs, and restaurants. The atmosphere in the hotel was 10/10, with its cute decorations and the kind staff. The breakfast was also very good, and they still had lots of food even when me and my friend would go there 20-30 minutes before breakfast hours are done. Kettle, coffee, and tea in the room, as well as you can get extra of it downstairs in the restaurant/bar area free of charge. The bathrooms were clean and had all you needed. The bed was very comfortable. Where our room was, we could not hear any of our neighbours, which is good. For my girlies: Very instagrammable! :D

Loved history… downstairs beautiful but the guest floors colors need updated . I loved the staff, especially Sharmista,. She made our stay extra special and she is such an asset to this family and hotel . Breakfast outstanding…. Bars beautiful

The light in our bedroom cast so little light that when we first arrived I thought the room dingy but the next morning with the bright sunshine the room took on a completely different appearance Loved our balcony and the breeze thru the open windows was wonderful. The Good Day products scent is the best I have had in an hotel and I have been in a lot of hotels with high end products

It was beautiful! It was very accommodating with our requests to leave luggage when we arrived and left. We loved the room and staff. The breakfast was amazing compared to American hotel breakfasts, so we felt spoiled! Location is a short walk to shopping, restaurants, and just across from the old town and palace. We left via ferry and it was a short walk to the bus station and tram station that took us there. The same station got us to the ABBA and Vasa museums while we were there.

Lovely, large spacious room with a top view. Room had an antique-style bath with chandelier and queen bed . What style ! Very relaxing stay and great central location. Breakfasts offered a wide range of healthy options-Typical of Scandinavia. Staff very helpful and cheerful.

We had to return home, but seriously if it was possible to have a bit more space in the wardrobe for clothes that would be a a bonus. We had to leave some clothes in the suitcase. But this wouldn't stop us going back.
