Second time staying at this apartment hotel in Malmö, and it lives up to enjoyable experience every time. Great location in Västra Hamnen, close to the beach and 15 min walk to Malmö central train station with easy connections to go north or head south or across the bridge to Denmark. Area around hotel also has grocery stores cafes, playground and a big supermarket 10 min walk away, with pharmacy, atm cash machine and more parking. Breakfast is nice and fresh, a mix of pastry, charcuterie, porridge, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee and tea, everything one would expect from a Nordic breakfast offering. Check-in was also easy and staff were helpful when we lost one of the cards to our room, replaced it the next day. Room was good size for two adults with two toddlers.

Understand that hotel has policy to not clean rooms daily for environmental reasons, but when travellng with two toddlers a room can get messy pretty quickly and it would be good to have some flexibility on this for families staying for a few nights. Staying out all day and come back to a slightly messy room doesn't immediately evoke a feeling of relaxation in the room, but we got there in the end.

A wonderful place to stay for a couple of days while visiting Malmo and the surrounding areas. The neighborhood is safe, calm, and just a bus ride away from the main station. The staff was wonderful, allowing us an early check in as soon as the room was ready. The breakfast was also fantastic, having a varied spread. I'd definitely stay here again on my future visits.

I did not mind it at all, so it is not a complaint, but the room we booked was split level and had stairs to get to the bed, which may be limiting to others. However, I'm sure the staff would be accommodating for those that need something more accessible. Just let them know in advance!

We arrived on Monday, August 19, and were warmly greeted by a friendly lady who handed us our room key. The room was immaculate, so clean you could eat off the floor! However, a high window was open, which wasn't ideal on a busy street. After reporting it, we received a complimentary upgrade, and the cleaning staff were quick and courteous, even removing their shoes while cleaning. Throughout our stay, the staff consistently greeted us with a smile and promptly addressed any issues. When our TV malfunctioned, the receptionist swiftly came to assist. I rate this hotel a 10+ for its exceptional cleanliness and friendly service—highly recommended for anyone visiting Sweden, even with a dog! We will definitely return and recommend it to friends and family.

Honestly, it was literally perfect. The hotel is located in the new part of Malmo, with short walk (15-20) minutes to the Malmo central station and Malmo old town (Gamla Staden). There are two markets near the hotel, closer Coop with some basic offer, and impressive and huge Maxi (cca 400m by foot). Also, just next to the Maxi you could find Systembolaget where you can find alcohol. The hotel has very spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds. Everything is impressively clean, and the breakfast is great, and well organized (bearing in mind a lack in space in the dining room). The staff is very helpful, fast, and polite. We will be coming back for sure!

We had a great stay here in July as a family of four. Self check-in was a breeze and (paid) parking had been promptly arranged for us by the hotel staff at a nearby parking garage. The accommodation was essentially a studio apartment at ground level with street access (excellent for strollers or guests with mobility issues). It was very tastefully designed, very clean and very family friendly. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. (Guests must make a breakfast reservation with hotel staff as the buffet/dining space is on the small side but this wasn’t an issue at all.) We loved our stay here and would definitely return!

The room was large and very clean and light, and stayed at a comfortable temperature. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom was clean, with lots of hot water. Really good breakfast (despite the lack of herrings), with a good selection of cold and warm food, including eggs, cheeses, pickles, fruit, compote, yoghurt, smoothies, etc.. The breakfast room is small though, so there's sometimes a short wait for a seat. This made some people grumpy and unreasonably rude to the very patient and friendly staff. And I'm pretty sure they are not responsible for the building infrastructure.

There seems to be a new fashion in Sweden to have two small square pillows instead of one rectangular one. This means that your head will periodically fall betwen the two pillows during the night. I got used to this, but would prefer a normal pillow really. The apartment was very clean, put perhaps a little clinical. Some soft furnishings and colourful art would make the place more homely. The framed photos of Malmo were interesting - just not very restful. A throw/blanket and cushions on the sofa would make it more comfortable at night, though we found a spare duvet and pillow in the cupboard, so all was well.

The best things about the hotel were the wonderful staff and the fabulous breakfast. The location is good. A little way from the city centre but the no. 5 bus stops right outside and takes you quickly and frequently to the central station. There are also a number of restaurants nearby (at the docks) - the Dockside burger restaurant was excellent. We had a bit of an issue with the TV in our room but the staff showed us how to stream to chromecast to rectify this. We received a warm welcome and would stay again!

If you want to be in the City Centre this hotel isn't for you but apart from that we were very happy with our overall experience

Everything. They exceeded our expectations in every imaginable way, they treated us like how they would treat their own family, it is surreal. Breakfast is very delicious. The rooms are super clean and spacious, the location is very convenient. The staff members are super friendly, to the highest of standards, they treat people how they'd like to be treated and better. Being foreigners and having an unfortunate accident, they made us feel at home and did things beyond our imagination to make us feel more comfortable. I cannot thank them enough, I cannot recommend them enough. This is a nice place to stay near Copenhagen, stop by if you travel to Copenhagen, there's very nice people, view,s and food.

Excellent location, very friendly reception staff, they allowed me to check-in before the established time, impeccable apartments, exactly as seen in the Booking photographs, perfectly equipped with everything you may need to cook, supermarkets very close to the hotel, and a bus stop right around the corner to go to the city center. The only thing I would mention is that in my apartment there was an air vent that made a slightly annoying noise. I couldn't find out how to turn it off (I should have asked at the hotel reception, but I didn't), but since I always sleep with earplugs, it wasn't a problem for me, and the area of Mälmo where the hotel is located is so quiet and the bed was so comfortable, that I slept great!!! If I return to Malmö I will stay at the Västra Hamnen without hesitation. 100% recommended!!!

The location is very nice - the new part of the city. close to the shore and a park where you can see sunset over the water. a bit on the side from the city center, but therefore quiet and spacious. The breakfast was amazing: overnight oats with dried fruits and scramble with tomatoes and leeks were like at home. Nice selection of cheeses and meats, fresh veggies, plenty of coffee. Atmosphere of the cafe. The easy self check-in option was useful because of our late arrival. The kitchen is equipped with enough tools.

The rooms on the third floor do not have enough daylight, unlike the fotos of the accomodation in the booking. The top window is completely blocked by the above balcony and the bottom one by the facade. I was very dissapointed to be in a darkest room even on a sunny day. The online registration form for breakfast is crazy: why should I give my name, phone number and email every time? it should be possible to enter a room number instead of all the requested details. we did not use the form, just came and there was enough place.
