It was absolutely delightful! The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The highlight was definitely the food – the complementary breakfast was not only huge but offered an impressive variety of choices to suit every palate. It was a great way to start each day of my stay. I can't recommend this hotel enough for its exceptional service!

While the venue had its charms, there were a few issues that need attention. The rainforest chalet setting was unique and offered a rustic charm, which I appreciated. However, I did notice a trail of black ants around the toilet area in the bathroom, which was a bit unsettling. Additionally, the bathroom walls seemed overly damp, indicating a need for better ventilation or maintenance. I understand that in a rainforest setting, some moisture is expected, but addressing these issues could greatly improve the overall experience.

Free breakfast was very delicious, the roti was the best among our stay so far! Papaya juice, fruits, omelet, everything was so delicious! The cabin was minimum, but nicely detached forest cabin. All hotel stuffs were very attentive and very helpful! Beautiful location just in the middle of jungle!

The 6 hours forest tour with the naturalist was a bit disappointing; it was good especially the part we had a "natural foot therapy" in the water fall with the natural fish, and swimming under the fall was amazing experience, but the guide was not so informative, and it didn't worth paying $45/person, I think. The guide was not passionate or proud of his work, gave us only the minimum explanation, only he found some interesting animals, creatures. We wished to hear more about the forest, plants and all in general (we had to ask each time). Maybe 3 hours tour ($35) was better? Also there was a lot of leech, and we had to wear special long socks (I know it's a part of the adventure!)

Everythlng was perfect. Mr.Sanduru who is manager of those hotels , solved all our problems.Even he gave extra dinner ,food ,discounted taxi service while we were leaving.All crew was so friendly they gave us free tea, coffee and most importantly they care us like not a customer but family members.Their chef was amazing.Our breakfast and dinners were amazing.We stayed another hotels but best breakfasts and dinners we had in this hotel.Those hotels are in the jungle so problems can happen for sure, just tell Mr.Sanduru and he will fix those problems like a magician.Thanks for everything , we recommend this hotel to everyone ! They are best as a crew !

We had our own hire car and it was not possible to reach the hotel because of the poor condition of the road. However, we were able to park a short distance away with the hotel providing a shuttle for luggage as necessary.

The hotel could provided more information on visiting the forest, securing guides etc. We were particularly interested in birdwatching but had to find our own guide.

Right on the border of the forest, could walk to the entrance in 2 mins. The pool was super refreshing.

No mosquito nets although when requested one the staff kindly brought one for us. Food menu was tasty but a little bit limited.

The terrace with the view on the forest is one of the best views ever experienced! The place is right at the entrance of the rain forest, which is amazing with lots of great excursions to see all sorts of animals/plants. The host is super helpful for organizing excursions and communication for the arrival. The food is great, breakfasts is delicious. Did a 7h day tour which was really good. Sure there are leeches, but this is rain forest :)

Cute little houses right at the entrance to the rain forest national park with a clean bathroom, clean pool with a beautiful view into the green; If there was a problem noticed, it was immediately fixed after telling the staff; Top guide booked via the accomodation!

Long waiting times for the food to be served, even if a time was agreed on forehand; many bugs, including big ones, which also can land in your food

The place is great. Its in the middle of the forest and the staff are super nice and helpful. They fulfilled all my requests . The food was great and they were really generous with the quantity , cute little monkeys around in the trees around the place 😄 😊!!! they also provide hiking and tour services if requested which I highly recommend

If u r a nature lover who doesn't mind jungle friends occasionally visiting you u d love it.

- even though it's at the end of a road, close to the NP it is still busy.. noisy. We couldn't get the tranquil rainforest atmosphere we expected to feel or had in other rainforest countries, otherwise would have extended.

Awesome setting for breakfast looking out on the mountain forest, with kingfishers, giant and small squirrels for company. Sandaru will make your stay as smooth as possible, organising tours with super knowledgeable and experienced guides, such as Hemel, and arranging food to take on a hike and have delicious meals on your return from the forest.
