The property is stunning, newly renovated and so beautiful. The food is delicious and the beds so comfortable. I read some reviews about cockroaches, we were there for 10 days and didn’t see any. But also, you’re surrounded by nature so if you see one, it’s not like a NYC cockroach.

Being pregnant with a toddler that only wants to be carried by mommy the stairs were a lot, maybe to be able to rent a golf cart to go up and down would be amazing but I mean, nothing the property can do about the stairs, it’s on a big piece of land.

- Great friendly staff, really nice welcome and generally very helpful. - Lovely sea view room, really nice and modern with a great bathroom. - Very clean and well thought out hotel generally. - Nice food options, the two speciality restaurants were nice but not amazing, the buffet was plentiful. - The moped hiring offered in the lobby is good, and an excellent way to see the small island.

- Echoing other comments, i know its August and its the busiest time of year but the pool is so busy. I went for a swim in the sea one morning at 7am and 2/3s of the chairs down there already had towels on them, its pathetic and selfish and needs to be managed better than “who gets up the earliest gets a seat”. The other smaller pool is much quieter. - Don’t charge huge amounts for rooms and then make guests pay over 4 euros for a bottle of water in the room. - The chairs on the beach are “owned privately” so they charge, which you’re informed of at checkin, but the people working on the beach have RUI on their t-shirts… - The cocktail list could be more expansive. - There is nothing around the hotel, you need transport for anything outside of it.

I love the location and the room The fact that they did an upgrade for a better room because a girl named Andrea in the down strays reception treated us very rude and couldn’t checked us in

1.- Too Many stairs to go to the lobby, swiming pool or the beach. 2.- I didnt like that we have to pay for the lounges at the beach, the hotel is expensive enough so it should include that service and not charge extra money for it. 3.- There was a terrible smell at the entrance of the buffet 4.- A girl named Andrea who tried to check in us, she was too rude and unprofessional She couldn’t do the check in for us, we had to go upstairs to the main reception and there we were well treated

Some things can be improved which we would expect for a 4 star hotel, smell in the bath should not be there, food quality and variety is only average, the dinner opening hours are very limited for Spanish standards, the direct-to-the-outside stairs door from the dinning room that is open during breakfast should also be open for dinner avoiding a long absurd walk up and down again, the cleaning staff should not start making noise before at least 9am (9:30 would be even better ;))

Great hotel, very well decorated and facilities - pools are nice and the beach superb in front of the hotel. Very clean, comfortable and great buffet! Overall a great stay

Very difficult to get sunbeds - people get up very very early to put a towel down then don't show up for hours, the hotel should do something about that...

It has everything you need: a wide range of breakfast options, a beach, sun loungers and parasols, well-cooled rooms and scooters and cars for rent. The staff is very nice and helpful, especially the reception (top)!

The price-value ratio is not right for a hotel that is already getting on in years (500+ Eur per night is a lot even with inflation). It is a mass tourism hotel and you notice this in the morning at breakfast. The hotel has a lot of families with children and travelers. The beach looks great in the photos, and it actually is. The problem is the first few meters in the water (stones, rocks, etc.) - very difficult to get into the water without slipping. Otherwise, the water is very beautiful, like everywhere else on the island. You pay for the parasol and sun loungers, but the price is ok.

Location in the best area for sea experience, swimming and beautiful blue of the Calm waters; the facilities of the hotel; the activities; the closeness between swimming pool, the see, and the Restaurant/bar; good and diversified food at the Buffet restaurant in the evening and very good breakfast variety.

To improve: the food at the restaurant of the swimming pool at lunch, limited and the grill food not very good; the quality of the wine menu, low and few choices. The need of payment for the umbrellas usage in the sand in front of the hotel is very unusual .

The property is beautiful, the food and facilities are great. And it has direct access to the beach.

Lots of stairs, so it wasn’t so easy to maneuver our toddlers stroller around. But you can take the road to the side of the hotel all the way up or down, which we figured out on day 2. No shops around but you can buy sunscreen and some other extras at the hotel shops. You have to pay for beach sunbeds but you can use the ones at the pool.

The recent renovation has been done with great tast. What truly makes the stay unforgettable is the Riu Fun team. A huge thank you to Frank and Agus, who are full of energy, kindness, and professionalism. Thanks to them, the daily activities are a real highlight special mention for the volleyball games, always played in a fun, friendly, and enthusiastic atmosphere. So many great moments and laughter shared!

The new refurbishment is stunning and suits the vibe of the island perfectly. Every area is really well thought out and beautiful as well as comfortable. The food is AMAZING in the main restaurant - so good I’m afraid we didn’t try the other two restaurants!! The beach is also beautiful and all the activities laid on were fun but not intrusive.

Only down side is there is very little else around.
