We loved being in a quiet rural setting, but within easy driving distance of Ronda and the White Villages. Sophie gave us great suggestions for hikes and restaurants, including tips and directions for parking. Breakfast was plentiful, the showers were great, and the cat was friendly! The Honesty Bar was convenient for snacks, wine and other drinks. Our room was spacious, with a comfy bed and pillows, a large bathroom, lots of cupboards for stashing our gear, and an electric heater that kept us warm for the five days of cold and rain that we had! Despite the weather, we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Villa Ignacia for anyone who likes to be away from the tourist fray.

A towel rack next to the bathroom sink would be appreciated. I was too short to reach the one on the door!

The location was stunning. Waking up in the countryside from the call of a rooster and the lical wildlife was a treat. The next treat was the lovely breakfast with a huge spread with more to come when asked for. The coffee was extraordinary good. Sophie, the friendly and very professional landlady, gave us useful information regarding being a tourist in the area. The room was clean and comfortable. Great thing to have an Honesty bar.

My husband loved the bed. For me, the mattress was a bit hard.

The property is in a beautiful spot, overlooking a valley, stunning views from the terrace. It is lush, quiet, nature walks are right there. The apartment was very cozy, with a kitchen and a loft. The host, Sophie, is so kind and friendly and welcoming! Really wonderful. The breakfeast was great. The place is also dog friendly which we loved and appreciated. It's also a short drive to Ronda and within an hour from lots of beautiful towns and hiking areas. We hope to come again.

This B&B is located in a beautiful country house. Sophie made us feel at home from the first moment and was friendly to our dog. The apartment was cozy and comfortable, and the terrace gave a little more space for our dog to walk. The breakfast was excellent and "handmade" by our hosts, who were always very kind.

This was a wonderful country stay in the middle of a long Andalusia trip for our family. After many nights in the heart of cities, it was a deeply appreciated time to be in a rural area for two nights. The breakfast was optional but was wonderful, worth the small charge. Our hosts were wonderful and solicitous. The pool was in excellent shape. We loved out stay.

Host family is lovely; super wellcoming, friendly and helpful, and the environment is very peaceful. Felt at home and relaxed the whole time during my stay! Swimming pool area is really nice and the rooms and breakfast area were tidy and cozy. Breakfast is plentiful and versatile and there is fe. fresh fruites and bread. Views from the house are beautiful, I enjoyed the sunset from the balcony almost every evening. The small town of Arriate is very local and cute and the distance to Ronda is only few kilometers. Busses and train run quite often between Ronda and Arriate, so you dont necessarily need to use a car all the time.

A beautiful, tranquil and super-clean house. Location is amazing. Facilities are incredible and the pool is divine. The attention to detail in the house is magnificent. Sophie and Fran are wonderful host. Their home is full of love and makes you feel you have your own private villa. Breakfast, with stunning views, is wonderful and they have two full-equipped fridges with all kinds of drinks and snacks. Could not ask for anything more. Real value for money.
