Excellent location - right in the middle of the myeongdong shopping street and easy access to transport. It is perhaps a minute or so from the main road (where the myeongdong train exits and bus stops are) and an easy walk. Do note that the street where the hotel is located on is closed during certain hours and becomes a pedestrian shopping street. We arrived when the said street leading to the hotel was closed and the taxi was able to drop us as close as possible as he could to the hotel (still perhaps 50m away). It was raining then and I was beginning to regret my decision on hotel location. However, as the days wore on, we eventually loved being able to drop our bags or rest in the comfort of our hotel room in the middle of shopping. Myeongdong is a tourist area and the shops close late (around 10.30pm). We could return after day of touring attractions and still shop for a bit after dinner. We departed in the early morning when the street was open and this time , our taxi could wait for us right in front of the hotel. My daughter and I booked into the Hollywood twin room, which include 2 double beds. Size of room was fine (comparable to most city hotels in Seoul and Tokyo ) and I was able to open our large suit case without difficulty. Highly recommend the hotel for its location.

Having a bar at the lobby or roof would be nice.

Right smack in the middle of Myeongdong action (but no noise from below). Separate toilet from bathing area. Comfy beds (pillow is Japanese style which is a lot firm).

No direct car access so if raining, you’ll have to drag stuff across the street drenched. We messaged about this to staff ahead of confirming booking and they said they will assist in finding taxi etc. BUT as there is No bell service, on day of checkout the front desk went back on their word and said we have to figure out our way out for pick up by ourselves. We also had a sewage stench in shower which was rectified but shocking to experience.

Location of the hotel was a surprised as it’s opened right in the Myeongdong market, it’s very convenient for shopping or access to subways. The room was spacious for 2. It’s lovely decorated and had separated toilet room from bathroom. The lights and wall sockets were everywhere around the room. Chairs was soft and nice. Extremely clean and lovely view from windows of 10th floor and above.

The room’s sound proof was not very good. We could hear the neighbours’ opening and closing doors, or talkings at night. Taxi couldn’t access the hotel’s door so we must walk with luggage for about 350m from main streets.

Location was great as it was in the middle of myeongdong. Just go downstairs and you'll be right across from one of the famous dumpling and noodles store. The night market is just at the entrance of the hotel so you're never hungry at night and never missing out on the night market life. Hotel was clean and I liked that the toilet bowl was separate from the shower with it's own mini basin so my partner and I could do our wash ups and business without having to wait for each other. There's a bathtub too! Water pressure is good and there's always hot water. Beds are huge and we have two pillows each but both the mattress and pillow are a bit too soft for my liking though I still had a very comfortable sleep every night. Breakfast was okay. Some of the food was on the cool side when we got there at 830am. Variety is limited but still enough to satisfy. Maybe about 6-7 different cooked dish mix of western and asian, some cereals and fruits and a few choices of tea with a coffee machine.

It was hard to find the entrance of the hotel at first and took us a while. For those coming here, you'll want to look out for the famous dumpling store "Myeongdong kyoja main store". The entrance to the hotel is just facing this store. Remember, it has to be the MAIN STORE of MYEONGDONG KYOJA. Check in at 3pm and checkout at 10am was quite a downer.

Loved the location. It was super close to the markets, restaurants are everywhere. Train station was very close. Very clean!

I didn’t like that there’s no airconditioning during winter. And they would rather have you open the window for a cool breeze. And although this is very eco friendly - I think having the option to regulate the room temp would be nice especially since not all rooms get the same amount of cool breeze just through the windows - in fact, the room we stayed in was so hot (heating turned off, windows open), that my son was actually sweating. We had to ask for a fan, which staff arranged for us straightaway. I also wasn’t a fan of a little glass in the head board (not sure what that is, but found it a bit creepy). Other than that though, room was kept clean everyday. Staff were very friendly.

Central location with shops right at your door step, quiet room as we didn’t hear anybody and I even tested whilst my daughter was playing Kpop in the bathroom i went outside the door and couldn’t hear a thing. Room was clean and bed was comfortable as I usually find hotel beds too stiff. I also liked how we got two pillows types, one hard & one soft so you can choose. Close to train station to get you everywhere and easy walk to get to the gondola for n-tower. I was with my 15year old daughter and we were always coming home late and we felt very safe in the area no matter what time.

Just be aware tours can’t pick you up from the front since it’s at a busy location unless it’s super early in the morning and still then drivers get in trouble. Whilst I don’t think it’s the hotel staff but shops next to it since their security get verbal and refuse driver to stop just to let us out. It happened twice so for the return trip to airport we had to meet outside another hotel 5min away.

Fantastic service and location. Room comes with humidifier (as it gets very dry in such cold weather), coffee machine (capsule), and massage pillow (much needed after a long day of walking). Size is apt as we had 3 big & 1 small luggages. Staff are very helpful and attentive to your needs. Located right smack in the middle of Myeongdong shopping street, below are rows of shops - Foot Locker, Innisfree, convenience store and everything. Also, just 1-2 mins from Metro station exit 8. Very happy with our stay!

Room is well cleaned however, when I lifted the bedsheet, I could see used tissue paper. Probably cannot be seen as it is all white! Otherwise, everything else was cleaned very well, water bottles get replenished, soap dispensers too, etc.

Location is suberb . Its right smack in the heart of Myeongdong shops and restaurants and very near Myeondong Cathedral . Staff are very helpful , courteous and affectionate- my parents were gifted a nice bottle of wine for their wedding anniversary . Rooms are true to its size in the website and clean

None- All good When shops are open on busy hours vehicles cant park in front of the hotel

The room size is larger than those about the same price in the same area. The location is so near the myeongdong station and airport bus. It is a full service hotel with daily housekeeping.. It is my second day there and I didn't realize that until I got it and the familiarity strikes me..

Absolutely nothing. Maybe the hard pillow was very uncomfortable but I requested for soft ones and they worked really well.

The location was great. Near to the Myeongdong train station exit. The staff was very polite and helpful. We left for Jeju for 5 days and came back again for 1 night and we requested for conceirge to keep our luggage til we come back and they were agreeable. Certainly saves us a lot of trouble with baggage during our travels. The lobby was cosy and good place to rest with good wifi. There is also currency exchange machine at the lobby which has slightly better rates than youtrip 😁

The size of the room for 3 pax is a tad too small. It’s the same room for 2 but with a double bed. Not quite enough to contain 3 pax luggage. There are cups and kettles in the room which is perfect but no utensils for stirring.
