The breakfast was beyond expectations. Beautifully served and lovely selection of food options. The young woman who served it was warm and friendly and very efficient. Bed and warmth of the room was lovely. Great products in the bathroom. Wonderfully hot shower. Bottles of water provided, robe and warm blanket - everything was very comfortable. The only thing I would have liked in my room was a table and chair, or a chair to sit in.

As I mentioned, it would have been good to have a chair and table, or just a chair in the room. It was possible to use the communal room for working on a table, which I did for a short time.

This is a really charming little boutique hotel 🙂 We were in room no. 3 which was spacious and tastefully decorated. This room has a large fridge and an extra exit to a little side patio which was a welcome extra benefit for us. Breakfast was nice, fruit, various breads and bisquits assortment of cheese, tea and coffee. However, no eggs and no ham or sossage. We bought some eggs and staff were happy to make us scrambled eggs.👍🏻 All staff are exceptionally friendly, notably Batsi, the manager.

If you book, be aware that the hotel does not have an inside place to sit down. You can sit outside by the little pool, which is charming, but less so in cold and rainy weather. The building is from the 1860s and was erected before soundproofing went into fashion. In our room we could hear every word spoken on the breakfast patio and presumably vice versa.

Beautifully furnished and appointed rooms. Lovely bathroom. Great wifi. Didn't lack anything. The manager Batsi was super helpful and proactive to ensure a perfect stay. Thanks again!

I booked Amina as I was looking for a convenient but affordable stay before heading to the airport the next day. It was way more than I expected - Batsi was so hospitable and I really enjoyed the breakfast and service. Really the location was also very good in terms of being able to access everything, and it took less than 30 minutes to get to the airport the day after.

I was a little worried about the area intially but honestly there was a security guard that watched our car for at least part of the evening, and once inside the property all fears were gone. If you don't have a car I'd be very at ease - but even with a car it was safe for it outside.

Beautiful old building with lots of character. The staff are very lovely people and very helpful and accommodating with any questions or issues I had. The location is great, with proximity to lots of great local restaurants and bars, while still walking distance to CBD. The rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is very good and very large.

It's an old heritage building so sometimes you can hear footsteps from the floor above. If you're a very light sleeper or you want to sleep in it might be an issue, but it wasn't for me.

Great location in Bo Kaap, which is part of the real city, and a much better place to stay than living in the very curated experience at the Waterfront or Green Point. Very close to downtown, and the bars and restaurants of Kloof Street. Could not have asked for a better welcome, and the staff went out their way to make our stay a memorable experience.

This is more like an aparthotel or an air BnB than a boutique hotel, although that is fine with me. But that being so a second arm chair would have been nice. TV wasn't working but I wouldn't have watched it anyway, so I never asked if it could have been fixed!

The place was lovely and cozy. It was perfect to get ready in for the wedding (the ladies got ready here). Pretty decor and enough room and facilities for our purposes including a Nespresso machine. It's very close to the city so it was an easy commute into town. Beautiful courtyard for photos.

There were no plates to eat off of, we had to use the coffee saucers. There was also only 2 of everything so there were three of us getting ready and had to drink champagne or coffee out of other glasses. The location was close to town but down the road was an informal settlement which wasn't ideal with fires burning at night. A small thing, but the couch was very uncomfortable. A disappointing breakfast (but understandable since it's continental) but it was something that was not too important for our stay.

I stayed in a room with a spectacular view of Table Mountain. The decor was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, great coffee machine in the room, amazing staff, easy check-in. I cannot fault anything! The hotel is also within easy walking distance of nice restaurants, and iconic streets like Long Street and Kloof Street. The breakfast was massive and had a diverse selection!

Room was lovely and spotless. It is convenient to have the bar fridge in the room but also to have access to the kitchen. The breakfast was very nice, consider some variation for longer stays. The Bathroom is beautiful and immaculate. Love the wall paper! First time stay in the Bo-Kaap and it was wonderful. Everything is close by but still very quite and peaceful. Had dinner one evening by Shariefa, what a joy!! She was there every morning and we loved chatting to her. She made us Koesisters, and it was the best we've every had.

The TV with the set channels did not work well. Not sure if it was the WiFi speed or maybe bandwidth because one could not watch programs without the download interruption. To be fair, watching TV was not really important for us.
