The site of this hotel is beautiful, like having your own little private bungalow in the jungle. It is very romantic and has a beautiful pool surrounded by nature. They have giant tortoises that you can feed, and the staff is SO friendly and helpful!

An important note: when booking take into account the direction of the winds. For 10 months a year, the winds affect in two different directions, and you need to stay in the right side of the island in order to enjoy yourself without all the wind, waves and algae. We had no idea about this, and so unfortunately this was booked when the Grande Anse beach was completely covered with algae and not apt to be in, and it was windy and even 'cold' during breakfast and dinner. This is not the accommodation's fault of course - it was our own planning! Regarding the hotel: while lovely, I think it was overpriced taking into account the quality of the rooms - this is not a luxury hotel.

Small friendly hotel. Staff were really welcoming especially Rikesh the pool bar manager. General manager was also excellent ensuring our stay was to our satisfaction. Loved the pink Mini Moke that was available to hire ensuring a fun day out on the island.

Would have preferred if they’d given us complimentary water every day (like all the other hotels on our trip) & would have appreciated bigger hand towels to wrap hair in after washing

The location and view is amazing, the beach is pretty great, although the water is a bit murky, there are good restaurants nearby (if you don't enjoy the food from the hotel's restaurant), the staff is very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning is very good and the room was big with a great balcony pool and view.

The breakfast was okay but not great for the price (this also goes for the other food, we did not try one of the buffets, they had creole. Indian, barbeque buffets, the à la carte menu is not great, imo). For the room we stayed in it was a bit weird that you can see from the stairs inside the shower and toilet (maybe it would be best to change the curtains).

The Bliss Hotel Praslin is beautiful; the entire property is truly stunning. The pool and restaurant area, in particular, are incredibly relaxing. What impressed us the most was the outstanding service in the bar and restaurant. Ishan is so attentive to the needs and wishes of the guests that you simply have to feel comfortable with him and his team (but especially with him!).

Perhaps the hotel could purchase more towels for the pool area. There were several occasions when we had to wait for fresh towels because the laundry wasn’t finished yet… The shower in the room is raised higher than the rest of the bathroom floor. Unfortunately, this leads to daily flooding, especially when staying there as a whole family.

Beautiful hotel very well located on the rather calm area of Praslin with easy connection to all the beautiful beaches and the Vallée de May as well as Fond Ferdinand. The staff is very welcoming, nice and professional. Our room was right in front of the beach which provided a fantastic view as soon as we opened the curtains. Tea and cakes are provided by the swimming pool at tea-time - delicious!

The hotel restaurant was a lot more expensive than the local restaurants nearby that provide tasteful dishes (we loved the evenings at the Zilwa reggae bar!)

Pretty much everything! The property was really tastefully decorated and clean, there were good facilities on site, and tortoises that you could go pet and feed. The staff were top tier - super friendly and kind and they were always seeking to make our experience better. We really enjoyed the breakfast, the option for a free afternoon tea and cake, dinner was also really yummy. I was quite sceptical at first because of other reviews not putting this hotel in such a good light, but was very pleasantly surprised that our experience was the complete opposite. I’d encourage anyone considering to book a room here to go for the garden option. This is a really peaceful part of the hotel, with access to a pool and the gym, and right by the tortoises, it’s also just very well kept and quaint. I’d like to put an extra emphasis on just how good the staff were, I’ve never experienced such exceptional hosting, from all the receptionists, waiters, kitchen and bar staff, everyone was always on-hand to help.

Our vacation was simply wonderful. The small, lovingly designed hotel complex with its bungalows in the quiet, green garden impressed us right away. The grounds, with two pools and direct access to the sea, were especially beautiful. The food, whether for breakfast or dinner, was decent. The entire team was incredibly friendly and helpful. Ishan, in particular, stood out with his warm personality and great sense of humor, making our stay even more enjoyable. A tip for travelers: Depending on the season, there may be seaweed on the beach, and it's definitely worth renting a car to explore the island's stunning beaches. We fully enjoyed our vacation, and saying goodbye was really hard. Highly recommended!

The view from our room was incredible, and we can’t compliment the staff enough. The reception team was always welcoming and helpful, and the bar staff were fantastic as well. I was especially grateful for the gluten-free options available at breakfast, which made my mornings so much easier. The salon staff were also amazing—they were highly skilled and helped me with a problem I was having, making the experience even better. A special shoutout goes to Ishan, who went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. ☺️

Bad plumning

It is a very nice hotel. It is located near the long beautiful beach. Personel is very friendly, and helpful (they helped us to organize everything we needed) Food in the restaurant is very good and the prices are ok. Spa center is really good! We rent a car for a few days to look around the island - another 'no problem' task for the hotel reception - thank you very much.

At the time we were at Praslin, there was a lot of sea weed from this side of the island, but there is a lot of beautiful alternatives

Very friendly and supportive staff. Excellent service. All requests were treated without delay and to our best satisfaction. Special thanks to Ishan who gave us the feeling of being home - good recommendations by him where to go on Praslin and what to do. Breakfast and dining very good with nothing to complain about. Happy to have chosen Bliss hotel for 8 nights.
