From the moment we arrived, the owner's warm and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home.The ambiance of Mini Mansion was cozy and inviting, just as I had anticipated. It had a charming and homely atmosphere that made it feel more like staying at a relative's house rather than a hotel. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious egg omelette the host cooked for us each morning. It was a delightful way to start our day. Overall, I would highly recommend Mini Mansion to anyone looking for a cozy and friendly place to stay. It exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, hospitality, and delicious breakfast. I will definitely be returning in the future and will be recommending this hidden gem to my friends and family.

We got a different room and we got notified while we were already in universal studios. The host had to move our stuff to a different room while we were away. We accepted even though we weren’t comfortable with that.

It was very pretty mansion, the neighborhood is just as beautiful. I felt it’s a safe area for a family or traveling alone. Close to universal. We got the suite & an extra room for Christmas. The suite area has a pretty view outside loved that. My family of 9 enjoyed our stay. The owner he was so kind & welcoming, makes sure you’re comfortable. He provides you with your keys to your room & the home so when if you leave & come back we went to universal studios came back late night. (rooms do have inside locks when you’re in your room & our suite & extra room had its on bathrooms inside rooms.) he explains the breakfast times it was so kind of him to make us omelettes & have coffee, cereal, toast, fruits available for us in the morning. I would love to come back here when visiting universal again.

It is a lovely home up in the hills of Hollywood, within walking distance to several restaurants and Universal Studios. The nice host lives in the home and rents out the rooms that are in her home. She gives you your privacy and is available to help you with any needs and provides you with a bottle of water in your room and a home cooked breakfast served in the beautiful dining area every morning. The bed I slept in (family suite) was very comfortable and I utilized the provided fan to help me fall asleep. I use a fan at home so I really enjoyed having one provided for me. The 2 nights that we were there were quiet and relaxing. I am a smoker and I was relieved to know that I could smoke outside on the patio instead of on the street in the middle of the night. It is the little things that make me happy. All in all, this home was the perfect place for us. Thank you so much for your hospitality Amy. 😀😀😀 Keep smiling 😀😀😀

I stayed in the larger room downstairs with myself and two kids. The room was extremely spacious. We stayed in the spring and the room temperature was fine. The beds are comfortable, although I think one is better suited for adults than the other. We didn’t use the 3rd bed in there. The bathroom was clean. The host is very nice and welcoming. She had breakfast (bagels, cereal, fruit, juice) and coffee ready before we headed to Universal Studios. The location to go to the park was very close. I’d stay here again.

It wasn’t necessarily a huge issue, but I had parked in the driveway and in the morning I had to move my car because I had parked behind someone who was leaving earlier than I. She does offer street parking to avoid this issue though. Something to consider if you’re sleeping in and parked in the back.

The breakfast was home cooked. On demand eggs omelets/scramble, toast, potatoes etc....along with the other usuals. The room was nice and clean with garden view on hollywood hills.....walking distance from Universal Studios. Tarun ji is a great host . In addition, he was nice enough to take us on a 3-4 hour long ride to show the nearby tourist attractions

A room each with a shared bathroom in a family mansion. Private garden outlook from both rooms. Very generous breakfast. Late arrival no problem. Able to do some laundry. Close to bus, Metro and Universal city attractions. Safe neighbourhood.

Owner was very friendly and made sure our stay was pleasant. My mother in law has difficulties walking due to her disability so owner let us to check out way later (afternoon) w/o extra charges. Delicious breakfast and tasty coffee. Location is unbeatable for money you pay.

Only one little suggestion for owner to do something with squeaking bed in one of the rooms (we rented two room with shared bathroom). Every little move in bed, or turn makes noise very loud (please note mattresses are very comfortable to sleep on).

it was easy to find and close to the LA zoo and then way out for rest of trip. just stayed one night. might have been nice to have a longer stay to enjoy the outside area a bit. we really just came in and slept. the owner was relaxed and welcomed children - in spite of our active three year old. the breakfast was lovely before we left for the rest of our journey

the wing was perfect for our family - two rooms and a bathroom but if we had only had one room and strangers were in the other, it would have been awkward. i would not like to have shared bathroom.

Amazing property, excellent location along with laundry and kitchen privileges. Walking distance to universal studio and short drive to Hollywood, Warner Brothers, Hollywood Bowl and Downtown LA.

very close to universal studios. Very quiet place I recommend it, Mr. Tatun is a very nice person, he is waiting for you to be comfortable and the breakfast is excellent
