The chateau was spectacular and the location perfect for visiting the coast and beaches but the hosts were the highlight. Viviane and Philip took time to chat, show me around their beautiful property and discuss about anything we wanted to. A quiet retreat even on Aug 15th weekend . We would love to come back.

Everything was beautiful. Loved it all. Would definitely go back. Very large bedroom, very large sitting room and very large bathroom. Wonderful accommodations. Outside space very comfortable and peaceful. Vivian and Phillipe are wonderful hosts very welcoming and they genuinely want you to have a great stay with them.

Everything is just wonderful! rooms and interiors are beautifully renovated and well maintained, there is also a lovely large garden to explore and relax (with a black swan, rare chickens, and a well behaved&friendly dog). Since the house is surrounded by trees so it’s nice and chill in the evening. I love especially the location, there are two nice seaside towns (Les-Sables-d'olonne and Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie) within half an hour driving distance, so you can enjoy a peaceful French countryside retreat while at the same time still be close to many major attractions. also it’s just an hour’s driving from Puy du Fou. The host is super! We got some nice recommendations of the area. Thank you for everything, we’ll definitely return :)))

Viviane and Philip were extremely welcoming and friendly. Lots of excellent restaurant recommendations, especially La Terresse. Location was quiet and tranquil, couldn't recommend it enough. Loved Viviane's homemade preserves, yogurt and fruits from the garden.
