This hotel provided exceptional and helpful service. Barbara and her colleague were so helpful with arranging a car, water taxi and porter service. The welcome drink and snack is a lovely touch and the breakfast was plentiful. The Happy Hour was exceptional every night with a complimentary buffet of small sandwiches, cheeses and delicious appetizers. We enjoyed our stay here.

The rooms are a little small but clean. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk to San Marco Square. (to the center of town)

Ideally located by a canal, shops and restaurants nearby without the business of the main city area.

Clean, great decor, lovely breakfast. The room was air conditioned, comfy bed and lovely bathroom with large shower. Welcome drink on arrival and complementary buffet every evening. The staff was so polite and friendly.

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is amazing! Such a wide variety of choices. The staff offers eggs freshly made just how you prefer. Also a wide variety of hot drinks is offered and then freshly prepared for you. In summary absolutely the best breakfast I ever had in a hotel! The location is perfect. Close to the train station, surrounded by less crowded canals. Especially in the room with a window to the garden have no noise and no problem to find a quiet and relaxing sleep in the comfortable bed. The room was perfectly clean. Free water in the mini bar, free coffee and the offer to have free Italian food in the „Happy Hour“ is absolutely amazing. The option to store bags even after checking out is really useful if you wanna go on a small last journey through Venezia before you return home. Overall I can absolutely recommend to stay at the Moresco, this level of hospitality is a rare find, especially at this price.

The room had small minor damages like a squeaky door and a bit loose door handle, also the shower was leaking a bit after a long shower. But these are only minor inconveniences in the grand scheme of this amazing hotel.

I would have liked the bathrooms to have more substantial curtains. Felt like we were flashing the neighbors every time we showered/went to the bathroom. That aside, a wonderful place and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We have talked about staying at The Hotel Moresco for a good while, it certainly was worth waiting for. The ambience of the whole hotel is very welcoming and the staff are just wonderful. Travelled at the beginning of December and there were many Christmas touches throughout the hotel. Chose to stay in the Classic room with canal view. It was exactly as the photos portray. Best pillows we've ever had in any establishment!!! Everything in the room was immaculate and well thought out. Good to have a cosy bathrobe. Thank you to The Moresco Team.

Inconsiderate guests making mobile phone calls in the small bar/lounge area. Totally spoilt the ambience when trying to enjoy an early evening drink.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their kindness and willingness to help. The rooms were thoughtfully and tastefully designed, providing both comfort and charm. Breakfast was a delightful experience with a wide variety of sweet and savory options, all of which were incredibly delicious. One of the highlights of our stay was the "happy hour" concept, which we happily enjoyed every evening. Every staff member we interacted with left a positive impression and made us feel truly welcome.

The staff were extremely hospitable and friendly. I was quite comfortable in my room and the breakfast was nice. Also, the location of the hotel was close enough to the bus station where I didn’t have to carry my luggage for too long. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back on another visit.

The location was fantastic. We took the bus from Marco Polo Airport which was incredibly simple and quick.we had visited Venice before and used the water bus which was fine but the bus got us to within 5 minutes of the hotel. The staff were fabulous and could not have been more friendly and helpful. The breakfast suited us perfectly and a choice of cooked eggs to have with the hot buffet and continental breakfast. We enjoyed having drinks in the lounge bar where a wonderful array of traditional chiccetti is presented free of charge. Every part of Venice is in easy reach from the hotel and you will find fabulous parts of the city very well worth seeing without the same level of tourist numbers. We will visit Venice again and will definitely choose Hotel Moresco.

A few more coffee pods would have been great and we might not necessarily have chosen the sparkly mosaic tiles in our bathroom but these are very minor points and as noted, we would certainly return at the drop of a hat.

Hotel Moresco was fantastic. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. Our bags were whisked up to our room and we were offered a welcome beverage while they checked us in. Once we made it to our room, we were very pleased. The hotel has temperature control, lovely furnishings, and very comfortable beds. Water is complimentary and there’s a stocked mini bar. The bathroom had great lighting and the shower was very nice. There were plenty of outlets including one on either side of the bed. The bed had two pillows per person which is a must have for me! The location was very convenient to access from the train station and the plaza where you can grab the bus to the airport. It is slightly separated from what I’d consider “downtown” but still very easy to get to the grand canal in about 15-20 mins walking. They also offer complimentary apertivo snacks starting at 6:30pm every night, and you can order a cocktail and relax in their lounge area. Also, the breakfast was fantastic, they serve eggs to order, great cappuccinos, and a variety of fruits, yogurts, meats and cheeses, and bread/pastries. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Venice!
