We stayed here for one night on our way to Portugal and had a great experience. The room was spacious, very clean, with a comfortable bed and lovely decor. The location is calm and peaceful, with plenty of free parking right in front of the entrance. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. There’s an on-site restaurant where we had a tasty dinner at a very reasonable price. Breakfast was also good, served in the restaurant downstairs. A great place for a relaxing stay!

Excellent reception. Very comfortable and charming older style hotel.

Only slight grumble was dinner service did not start to 8:30pm and breakfast started at 8:30am. Unfortunately we needed to leave by 8:30am. On the plus side the hotel provided a packed breakfast - which included fruit, yogurt, chilled coffee and 'long-life' bread-roll & croissant. It would have made it an excellent substitute for the regular breakfast had it had something to put on the dry roll.

Although a bit of way from the main road its well worth the trip into the village loads of parking outside hotel, the check in was easy and and the room size and facilities were good, we went for dinner very quirky restaurant with old grape press and large pizza oven, very good meal for two including a bottle of wine 50 euros. the staff and service were very good, breakfast was included in room price and very good.

A lovely hidden gem in a peaceful village, not far from the motorway. Rooms and bathrooms are big and well equipped and nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable and the place is very quiet. Friendly staff and the accommodation has a bar and a restaurant where they serve good meals at very decent prices. The village is lovely to stroll around or to have a drink at the bar in the old school. Good breakfast.

The airconditioning did not seem to work properly in our room, but the walls of the posada are thick so it was still cool enough inside.

Facilities were surreal, Sauna, Steam cubicle in the bathroom, spa bath in the 'Suite' too. Good size. AC worked a treat. No negatives at all. Oh, and 'table dôte' menu in the restaurant was €25 per head incl wine and 3 courses.

Nothing else to do in the town bar the hotel bar and restaurant. Knew it was'out of town', but there's really nothing going on. Quiet though.

Lovely hotel, couple of kilometres from the motorway. Based in a small hamlet. Dog friendly, clean and comfortable... walks for the dogs...

Unfortunately we ended up being locked out Having a late arrival then took the dogs out for a walk. Called into a lovely local dog friendly bar, had a drink and something to eat. Only to return to the hotel locked up ... Nobody mentioned that they lock the doors at 11pm....... thankfully a neighbour called the owner at 11.30 to let us in

Fairly easy to find, it is signposted. Parking on the street, not a problem. Reception was very good and helpful. Room as okay for the price, but could do with a little renovation, there are better rooms. Breakfast was good, although it could be slow if everybody turned up at the same time. Nice bar for a pre-dinner drink. Overall the staff/owners were extremly helpful and made the stay very enjoyable. Evening meal was very good and the price is very reasonable. Would stay again.

The room needs a little updating.

Wow! What a find. We have already booked for our next road trip from the ferry down through Spain to Portugal. A beautiful gem of a traditional yet modernised Spanish hotel in a secluded village only 2 miles off the motorway. Very dog friendly, lovely local walks. Kind and attentive staff. Good dinner at very reasonable price. Completely quiet overnight.

It was perfect

This is a nice traditional hotel in a very, very quiet small village. Lovely and helpful staff who speak English, although that is not so important to us. Had a nice meal in the restaurant after a wonderful walk around the village with its remarkable old wine cellars. The few people we met were very nice and talkative. There is ample parking just outside the hotel.

The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The building itself is beautiful, and the room is not only comfortable but also thoughtfully designed. The peaceful surroundings add to the overall relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a tranquil and enjoyable stay.
