Very clean and the staff was always amazingly friendly! Late in the night, our friend was told they had a death in the family back in the US while we were visiting, and we asked if we could buy a bottle of wine ( it calms her down) from the closed bar and they said yes which was a great help! Breakfast was beyond amazing, though crowded. But they’re doing a really good job at trying to keep things up and there are signs everywhere about when, and how to avoid the crowds. A good 10 minute walk away from the Sbahn, but still totally worth it. Would definitely stay there again!

Been mentioned before, but limited parking in the garage underground. I did find a space within a three minute walk away, but I had to leave the spot by 9 AM.

Location is about 500m from the S-Bahn in Zone 1. Finding the Rewe Garage is not difficult, but when there, one has to look for the Hotel Parking Spaces, of which there are NOT enough if you come late and the hotel is fully booked. A good idea when spaces run out would be for the hotel to give out parking cards to put inside the car windscreen to avoid the massive fines.

See above concerning parking spaces. The organisation of the breakfast area could probably be greatly improved, the tables are too close and the organisation of the self service only works smoothly when the room isn't crowded and when the "helpers" get in the way of the customers. I would here recommend starting with thinning out the tables and having mobile tray collection trollies instead of nothing so that people just walk away leaving their dirty dishes on the table

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent in its choice and freshness. Parking was underground in a large space shared with the supermarket. To visit Munich from here was not a problem as the S bahn station at Germering was less than 1Km away and the journey to Munich about 20 mins.

Only one chair in the room. All the useful information about breakfast, coffee, parking passes, menus etc were on a loop on the TV and moving between screens too fast to finish reading the important stuff. Give me a paper copy any day!

Breakfast is exceptional! So much variety, it was unexpected. Really good! Room very clean, cozy, good shower. Very easy check in and check out.

The parking situation is a little weird (more than a little, actually...). It all ended up well, but I had to park outside due to no vacancy. You can pay for an overnight stay, which I was willing to pay for, but from what I understand I would start being charged again, on top of the overnight pay, after 6 am, and it's not cheap... Meaning I would have to get up before 6 to remove the car or hopefully find a spot in the hotel parking places, if I didn't want to pay more. And all of this is not very well explained, which makes it confusing. The pictures show a little desk in the room, but it's a very tiny table which, in case of our room, was in a different place and did not.allow.work as a desk. The tiny shelf had to do.

If you explore Bavaria by car, Hotel Amper should be an ideal alternative as it si strategically located at the ourskirts of Munchen (25 min by car to Deutches Museum) but also to other Bavarian objectives: 1 h to Legoland, 2h by car to Nuremberg, 2h by car to Stuttgart. The greatest surprise was the breakfast which was superb. By far it was the greatest breakfast ever. Fresh bakery products, excellent coffee, fresh fruits and vegetables. it was great. The rooms were spotless.

The rooms we had were somehow small, but nicely decorated. There is no fridge in the room

Easy to reach by S train. Excellent supermarket below the building. Good breakfast. Staff were nice and friendly. Only given one sachet of shampoo/body wash and small soap for our stay. Banged my head on the room safe going to the toilet as the door of it sticks out unless locked.

No kettle in room. Had to buy tea and coffee and take it back to the room. Only one pillow and was told to wait to see if they could find another. Ran out of decaf coffee so had no hot drink on the second day there. I don't drink tea. Breakfast ladies were very quick to take away people's unfinished breakfast when they only away getting their tea or coffee.

Perfect place to get well rested during a trip and even for longer stay when required. Spacious rooms, nice staff, comfortable beds, free parking spaces in the hotel or on the area nearby. Tasty and various breakfast where everyone can find something special. Dogs are allowed without any problems for additional 5€ per day. We will definitely come back!

It was second time when I was too late to use the underground parking space - these are very limited and you will miss one if you’ll come too late. There were always free parking spaces around the hotel though.

Sometimes you have a great variety of choices in the breakfast but then they stay the same during your whole visit. In Hotel Amper you have every day here and there small changes, The personnel during breakfast was/is very attentive, like offering a children's chair before a family has even asked for it, Or helping my somewhat disabled sister with carrying her tray. Really friendly and helpful staff. They are a real asset of the hotel,

The hotel was very practical and sufficient for our short stay in Munich. Since we booked it just a few days before our arrival, we are very happy with our choice. The breakfast was varied and very tasty with a large selection of food, milk drinks, desserts, pastries. Check-in and check-out were very easy, and the bus stop and the S8 stop that goes to the center of Munich was about a 5-minute walk away.

Parking is free and plentiful, breakfast included in the price and decent though a pain to get served if the hotel is busy due to the breakfast layout ie. one big que. I book this hotel for 1 night stop overs and the fact I have been here a number of times tells you that the good outweighs the bad. It is convenient for my purposes and price point is good.

No proper shower gel, just a crappy little sachet. Its a budget hotel so I guess you can't really expect tea/coffee in the room and proper bathroom supplies. Once had a rude cleaner that wanted us to vacate so she could clean the room - checkout is 11am and she was bothering us at 9am!-thankfully that has only happened once and I didn't complain but maybe I should have.
