We picked the hotel for its location and views and we were not disappointed I had contacted them after booking as I am gluten intolerant but they were able to help me with a very good breakfast option The view from our room was outstanding, some people would complain about the size of the room but we made do, it was worth it The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area The wait staff were great and will mention Lucia by name as really welcoming Oh and the other clients we found similar to us and we met some nice people

As I said it’s and older building so we expected smaller rooms

The location was perfect - just a short stroll away from the town. The staff at the hotel were all really helpful and friendly. Loved the pool - perfect for cooling off when it got really hot! The sunbeds were nice too, and plenty of space (didn't have to reserve beds etc.). Breakfast was lovely - a nice selection of pastries and savoury items.

We didn't spend an awful lot of time in the room, but it was quite small and a bit dated. The bathroom especially. The aircon didn't really do an awful lot, just blew out warm air - our last night was the hottest as the temperature had been just over 30 in the day, so wasn't the most comfortable of sleeps.

We booked this quite last minute and we felt it suited us very well for our 4 nights stay. We arrived in the evening and we were warmly welcomed by the receptions. We were also still welcomed to their restaurant for dinner even though it was about 8pm which we appreciate. We met the lovely Francesca there who is a waitress working with the bar and restaurant and she was so lovely throughout the entire stay. The food was homey and nice and we had a great bottle of red morinello! We were then served inclusive breakfast daily with a vast selection of anything you could want. I think the coffee could be a bit better but overall cannot complain. Our rooms were a little old fashioned but super clean and everything worked. The views from the restaurant is stunning and it’s just 10mins walking to centre of SG! Overall great stay and we really enjoyed it ! Thank to the whole team who was so easy and welcoming .

This hotel in the Tuscan countryside was absolutely beautiful and so charming—a perfect escape. It’s just a short walk from the stunning town of San Gimignano, which made it an ideal location for us. We were lucky to be given a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the breathtaking Tuscan landscape—such a magical view. It was my wife’s 30th birthday during our stay, and this experience made it even more special. The breakfast was amazing, with a fantastic selection of delicious options to start the day. The staff were wonderful—so warm, friendly, and full of charm. On one warm day, we enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool, which was a lovely way to relax. The only slight downside was that the room was a bit small, but it was manageable for the two of us, and we adored its rustic charm. The on-site parking was a big bonus, making it super convenient for our travels. Overall, a delightful stay that we would highly recommend and would return!

It was a beautiful property, a 5 minute walk from the walls of San G. Nice patio off the room, grounds and pool are outstanding. Breakfast was great. For the price it was decent.

The rooms are extremely tiny (maybe 8.5 x 8.5 feet). Maybe only meant for a single person. Only a double bed. Could not walk around the bed with the door to the room open. We travel with small carry on luggage and there was no room to put it away. The shower was also tiny. I’m not a big person and I couldn’t turn around without knocking the temperature dial. Couldn’t control the a/c temperature and we found it too warm at night.

Many thanks to the hotel staff, especially Michael and Lucia, for a most warm welcome and wonderful stay at the hotel. Breakfast was one of the best we've had! The view was great, and it was a great take-off point to see other Tuscany towns like Pisa, Siena and San Gimignano instead of Florence.

Our rooms were quite small, so upgrade to a bigger room plus one with a view. Definitely worth it! Minor problem with water heating throughout the hotel, but it was resolved very quickly. You need a car to reach it as it is not accessible by public transportation.

The hotel was in the perfect location! Only a 5 min walk into town and the pool and bistro has a great view of the beautiful scenery! The pool was amazing and had a great about of day beds for everyone. The breakfast was one of the best we have had, lots of variety and options. The staff at the reception were really helpful with recommendations for wineries and locations to visit.

The room was quite small, you definitley had to completely unpack your bags because there is no room for a case in the room. The rooms were also very tight together so we could hear the bathroom next door late in the night.

Wonderful location, walking distance to the historical town center, clear instruction on paid parking, and wonderful breakfast. Nice view and surroundings, easy nevigate by guests with car. Worth to mention that the entire team are professional and super friendly. Especially Mr. Alton had brought us nice experience since the moment when we arrived - our holiday feelings started from right there. He often went out his way to help all guests whoever needed information and help. He is a very detailed and responsible person, the reserved parking spots was difficult to manage due to the demand and limited spaces, but he and his team all together made sure all reserved parking will be properly assigned. Additionally, our sincere thanks to Alton and his team for ensure our important package reached out to our hand on time.

This hotel is probably the best choice in San Gimignano. It’s a perfect location, close to everything- bus station, and 8-9 min walking to the old center of San Gimignano. We found the hotel just perfect: the room was big and spacious, with a bug balcony. We did not miss anything. Breakfast is amazing, a great variety of foods: eggs, cooked and fresh veggies, cold cuts, yougurt, fruits, amazing fresh pastries. The lobby area is a big plus, like a cozy living room at home. Very friendly staff, they managed to accommodate all our needs when traveling with a baby- Thank you!

This hotel is an absolute must if you are visiting this part of Tuscany. Set in a quiet lane and directly overlooking the countryside. We asked for a room with a view and balcony. (room 208) Whilst the room was a little bit on the small side the balcony more than made up for this with spectacular views over the pool area and directly out to the brilliant countryside. It was so peaceful and relaxing. All the front staff (Max and Maria) were great. Very welcoming and willing to share information and advise on things to do and see in the area. The staff in the restaurant/bar area were also very pleasant and efficient. It is also a very straight forward 7 minute walk into San Gimignano. We parked the car at the hotel @ 15 euros/day but was more than worth it as we walked into town each night. If you don't want to take the car to the big cities of Florence and Siena there is a great train service from Poggibonsi which is a 15 minute drive and free parking at the station. All in all we could not have asked for anything better than to stay at this lovely place.

The bedroom was a little small but we coped very well and had the plus of a huge balcony.
