Beautiful rooms with great facilities. Lots of entertainment for guests and easy to get around by buggies most of the time.

Staff are always on their phones which is annoying especially when they are driving in buggies or you are waiting to order food or drinks. They push you to the buffet over restaurants saying they are booked out but the restaurants are barely even 20% full. The food is average and the staff don’t clear plates or glass wear at the main bar areas. Also had room door left wide open after staff dropped off a departure letter to room, house keeping don’t knock or ring the bell just walk straight in even when you are in the room and unlock back doors and leave them open. Kids club they don’t really watch the children they just let them run out so unless you are close by and watching them then it’s not safe and defeats the purpose of having a kids club.

Our beachfront villa was perfectly located at the resort. It was clean, roomy, elegant and just steps away from beachfront. It was almost like heaven on earth during our 5-night stay.

Couple of our bathrooms smelled like sewer for the first few days and we finally gave in and called front desk. The showers drainages needed to be unclogged and that did the trick. On the other front, it was summer break for the locals (Vietnamese) so breakfast was a bit chaotic (crying kids, kids running around dining areas), there was no shortages of loudness. Staffs need to speak up a bit louder. Everyone is so soft spoken, and you couldn't really hear or understood their responses to your questions.

The villa is spacious and well-designed. I like that each bedroom has its own private bathroom along with an additional toilet in the kitchen and living area; it is very convenient for our family with kids and elderly. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The beds are comfortable. Breakfast is super good with variety of delicious options. The swimming pool is very large and nice; at just 1.2m deep, it felt safe for everyone.

When we checked in, the villa was not very clean. The glass doors were covered in marks, and the floors were dusty—particularly in the corners and along the walls. We even found a rusty nail on the kitchen floor and an empty water bottle under the bed in the master bedroom. One of the door curtains in a room was also broken. Although the staff responded quickly and resolved all these issues after we reported them, it left us with the impression that the villa had not been thoroughly cleaned or properly prepared before our arrival. Additionally, for a villa meant to accommodate eight guests, it would be helpful to provide more than just two teaspoons.

Excellent breakfast options, outstanding customer service, a beautiful beach and a beautiful swimming pool made for an excellent stay! Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation for our group of 10. My only suggestion would be to allow up to 4 adults per room, as the villas feel too spacious for just 2 adults per room. Allowing more guests per villa room would make the experience even better.

Where to start. I have stayed in some of the best hotels in the world, including the Emirates Palace and I have to say the Melia VinPearl was simply the best. We stayed with Melia in Palma in August and it was not great and we were a little apprehensive in staying with Melia so far away from home. One of our party has a severe Nut allergy, and with the language barrier we were very worried. We e mailed the guest services a number of times and we were still worried. As a individual who heads up a hotel company, I have really exacting standards. With this in mind and the Nut allergy issue we were all quite concerned. These concerns were addressed sympathetically and with a genuine desire to ensure we had a amazing stay. We checked in and were assigned our very own guest services manager. Vyan. What a absolute amazing person. Vyan worked tirelessly to make sure that anything and everything that we needed was provided. she went way above and beyond to make sure that we were so well looked after it was unreal. We have to say that she is a credit to the hotel and a phenomenal asset to the property. We had a villa and all we can say is wow. It was absolutel stunning. From the massive bedrooms to the private pool the entire villa was just amazing. Moving onto the food, it was simply divine. We were assigned a executive chef.. Stephen. What a absolute credit to the hotel. A truly lovely and humble gentleman. He took the issue of the nut allergy extremely seriousl. He personally prepared fresh food with no nuts. He even ensure red that the hotel purchased new pans and new oil so that there was no cross contamination. The food was simply stunning and we cannot thank Stephen enough for looking after us. Jonas the Food and Beverage manager was brilliant. Despite just joining the hotel, he worked tirelessly to make sure that all guests we looked after. We loved everything and we will be back !!

The property was luxurious with tuktuk services 24/7 to all facilities including spa, restaurant and others. The breakfast had diverse dishes and cuisines including Asian and international. It has egg chef serving various dishes and the chicken was halal which was a bonus for Muslims. The restaurant in general offers room dining option for lunch and dinner which includes different meals in the menu. The staff were extremely friendly and supportive. I asked the hotel to prepare a cake for my kids birthday and they offered a free cake asa gesture from the resort administration. The kids enjoyed the private pool every day. The beach is also was very nice and you can enjoy a walk to a swim in the afternoon. There is a nice spa with good services and a small gym. The free shuttle bus service is available to all main attractions within 10-minutes (safari, grandworld and vinwonders).

The whole stay was good. The beach, the villa itself, the swimming pool, the food, everything. The staff of LEVEL are really nice and friendly. Esme, stark and another two guys but unfortunately I forgot to take their names.

The kitchen is not equipped with any dishes, Spoons, forks, knives, not even cooking pots or pans. Usually tourists who is coming from other countries will not bring all of these items if they are coming to a villa with kitchen then they will need them.

Our family had the most wonderful stay at Meliá Vinpearl Phu Quoc, and we are truly grateful for the unforgettable experience. First of all, I would like to thank the resort for the incredible room upgrade. I had originally booked a 2-bedroom lake view, but we were given a Level 3-bedroom ocean view with a private pool. It was absolutely breathtaking — the space was vast, the condition of the room was flawless, and the private pool was the perfect highlight of our stay. It was, without doubt, the best accommodation we have ever experienced. Secondly, the staff were outstanding. Every employee we met was kind and helpful, but I especially want to express my gratitude to the Level reception desk team and the Tuk Tuk drivers. Their warm hospitality and attentive service made our family feel so welcome and comfortable. The dining experience was another highlight. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at two different restaurants, and the food was consistently delicious with a wide variety of choices. I personally loved the pho, banh mi, and fresh vegetable dishes — so much so that I had them every day! Lastly, the entire resort was perfectly maintained. Every facility was clean, well cared for, and we could see many staff members working tirelessly to keep the resort in excellent condition. Overall, our stay at Meliá Vinpearl Phu Quoc exceeded every expectation. Our family left with hearts full of joy and memories that we will treasure forever. Disorganized hotel... Probably local management, was my second time at Phu Quoc, and the other hotel (despite worse facilities) was much better organized

We loved our stay at Melia. I saw a lot of previous reviews and concerns and we personally couldn’t relate. The shuttle service was very efficient for us and we used it probably 6 times a day. The staff really go out of their way to make sure you have an amazing stay. We traveled with a 1.5 year old and they really made sure she was having fun. The kids club was a life saver for us. It is true that none of the kitchen stuff works, but you don’t really need it other than the fridge (which does work). We loved our time here. You’re constantly greeted with smiles and care. What more can you really ask for ?

The only downside was a smelly sewer smell in the front bathroom of our villa. It’s a very common smell around the island, due to the mud from the rain and pools everywhere. So it’s hard to eradicate it completely. But with some room spray from a near by shop, you’ll be fine.
