Really liked staying here, even though we checked in late due to the traffic at Caen. Damien the host met us and was very welcoming. The bed was huge and very comfortable, the bathroom and room in general a very good size. I cannot say I disliked this property but just my observation, I would have liked a light in the little area where the shelves for clothes are, this would have made it lighter, especially when using the safe. Also would have liked a few more English speaking channels even if it was just the news. Maybe investing in sky or something similar.

Every room has its own front door so travelling with a dog means this is an ideal hotel. Rooms are spacious for 2 and equipped with all the usual things you would expect with great bedtime chocolate and decent coffee. We also had a deluxe room which had enough room for a comfortable sitting area where we could sit for a drink. The chap on the desk was very welcoming and doubled up as breakfast host in the lovely little dinning area where they offer a good range of quality breakfast items. Having had a few questionable small hotels in the past it's great to find a clean well run non chain hotel for a good night's sleep.

There is no on site bar but the main street is only a hundred yards away with restaurants and bars.

The location was great, the room was spacious and very comfortable, the man in reception was lovely. My girls loved it and said the beds were the most comfortable beds they ever slept on! I would stay there again.

Reception doesn’t open until 4pm, even if you arrive before then it’s locked! On booking.com it says there is parking available, this is incorrect information, you cannot book parking on booking.com and need to park at the public car park costing extra. If you book direct with the hotel you can book parking. Being pedantic, the door sticks on the way into the room and there was a car transporter parked outside the room door.

Nice sized room, parking available although there is a charge…handy to walk down into Arromanches…very helpful gentleman on Reception, he carried our rather heavy case up the stairs for us.

Stayed for 4 nights, but bed only made once and bins emptied once…awful mat on the floor which kept curling up at the edges so a trip hazard,,,would have been a nice touch to have a couple of thick mats on each side of the bed.

Damien was waiting for us on arrival & gave us a great welcome. Advised us the best place to park our bikes out of view and showed us to our accommodation which was perfect, even better than we imagined. Our apartment was clean with everything we needed & we made use of the patio area outside each night.The location was just right for our tour of the area and will very likely go and stay again for future trips.

A small motel style hotel with on-site parking which is very handy in Arromanches over D Day, you need to book in advance and it is 6Euro per day but worth it. The staff were lovely, I assume they are the owners but not sure. The rooms are accessed by an open walkway. The room was a good size with good facilities like a room safe, minibar and kettle. Nicely decorated and very clean. Right in the heart of Arromanches so perfect for walking around to all the activities. Breakfast was well worth the price with very nice quality food every morning. I would return without question.

Nothing much not to like, if I was being picky maybe the bathroom is a little dated but it was spotlessly clean which is the main thing. Everything else was spot on.

Great location within 5 mins walking distance to the main eating/ drinking area of Arromanches and close to the historic WW2 visitor sites.

Nothing really although the cleaning staff had missed a couple of areas when cleaning the room when we arrived (dirty surface (coffee rings and stains) on top of the two chests of drawers) but I am sure just an oversight as otherwise no issues. Breakfast very expensive when there are better options on the main street 5 mins walk away, but convenient if in a rush.

Great location in Arromanches. Short walk to restaurants, museum and Gold Beach. Fabulous room - very clean and comfortable, with good storage and lots of space. Shower room also good size and very clean. Simple breakfast - all fresh food.

Nothing but paying on top for both breakfast and parking and then local taxes did add somewhat to the costs.

Excellent central location a short walk from the seafront. We were upgraded to a large, spacious room with everything we needed.

Some of the decor was a little tired but all the facilities worked. It is very much a motel style hotel with a motel atmosphere, but that didn't detract from our enjoyment of our stay. We would certainly stay there again.

Great location, extremely comfortable large room. Was used as a base for 2 nights while we explored memorials and D-Day beaches and it was great. Walkable to local food spots and overall a nice spot. Great local hikes/ walks which are great for an afternoon activity.

Wish things opened a little later. Little short on dinner options in the town but made it work.
