I loved my room especially the kitchen area where I could warm up food in the microwave. The room was cleaned everyday and staff around the hotel were very friendly especially when I got lost and asked for the way to the reception.

One evening I worked late and was missed dinner. Staff informed me there was no room service facility so I went to bed hungry. The hotel should have provision for deposit to be put on room for long stays. I was embarrassed at the Boma restaurant when I was told I couldn't sign the bill to my room yet I had asked to put a deposit on checking in and the receptionist declined. It's not practical to use card for payment at every meal, its best to put a deposit on room for meals and laundry when checking in.

Very quiet, very comfortable, very good airport shuttle service. Ideal for an overnight stay between flights.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Selection not great. Supposed to start at 6, which we needed to catch our flight, but they were really only just setting up then. When asked a specific question about the shuttle service, before we arrived, the only answer we got was a pro forma, general set of instructions which were hard to follow on the ground. Fortunately the Information Desk at the airport could point us in the right direction.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and the pros are the same as always. Location, shuttle to the airport, good breakfast, good internet.

Among the cons, I have to note that the shuttle schedule to the airport during the day is inconvenient. There is a long daytime break. I also have to note the strange behavior of the service staff. If you do not hang a sign - Do not disturb, they unceremoniously climb into your room all day long, including without knocking, and even a closed lock from the inside is not a hindrance for them. Then cleaning, then water, then separately brought linen, then towels, then a supervisor. This is too much.

Generous reception staff offered us complimentary & considerable late checkout as they weren't busy during our stay. Very efficient, pleasant staff & service. Great breakfast. Vast, pleasant & secure grounds to stretch the legs whilst waiting for flights. Large, well equipped gym. On site cafe & restaurants. Free shuttle to & from a major shopping centre nearby. Kitchenette. Very fast WiFi.

The carpet & curtains smelt of stale cigarettes though the room was otherwise very clean. Not much sunlight penetrated the room. The heater was noisy. Two very lound plane takeoffs or landings overnight. Despite this, the stay was mostly comfortable.

The BC Café staff was very slow. Even when we called for room service, we had to dial a few times before they could answer. As frequent guests, we always choose this hotel, and not even once did we get any notice nor acknowledgement... such a pity. On our departure last Sunday, the bus driver did not drop us at the airport departure terminal. He left us with all our baggage at the back of the Intercontinental Hotel, and we have to look for trolley and walk all the way, and to make it bad, we had an elderly relative who couldn't walk fast. If the bus does not drop off guests at the departure terminals, we should be informed upon check-in about this to prevent any inconveniences.

Food was well cooked.

On the 12th of September in my room 5560...I got locked in the toilet for 2 hours...the door couldn't open. I tried calling out for help by screaming and banging the wall. I was suffocating and scared. I prayed...Tried fixing the handle but it broke. Just when I was about to give up...a miracle happened...I pulled a handle steel inside the door and turned it over and the door opened...all thanks to God....the worst could have happened. I reported the matter to the house keeper who organized mantanance but not sure if management was informed. It was such a traumatic experience.

It was clean, everything mentioned was available in the room.

It was too busy for my liking, but again their facilities allow for it to be as busy as can be. Some people were singing and ululating in the parking lots closer to the rooms, I wouldn’t enjoy that if I was there for a longer period to relax. Cleaning staff knocked at our room at 9am, when I opened and they saw we were still in, they left their cleaning cart right at our door. Felt like they couldn’t wait to kick us out, like we had to rush and leave for them, checkout is at 11.

Room was close to a laundry area/workstation; early in the morning, there was a lot of noise like crates and some sort of banging outside my room. Beside that all was good and team members were friendly and efficient. Thanks to the team at the restaurant close to reception for allowing me to use their board room for my conference call. I asked at reception for a quiet place to make an hour conference call since my room was not ready as i came early at 11h00 and the hotel was full. Luckly, the restaurant next to reception came to my rescue.

Noise early in the morning, time was before 06h00

1. The best customer service environment ever. They make the place feel more a home, from online enquiries to check in to answering questions, to PROMPT attention to any issues you report. 2. The buffet breakfast is on point, absolute freshness, variety, just the right amount of seasoning, no greesy/oily food, their baked beans was so tasty, with enough mixed peppers 3. The rooms are clean & spacious, the shuttle bus driver was the 1st person we met at airport without eveb prior arrangements. A true gentleman. 4. If you forget something in the room, you definitely get it back. The lady who did our house keeping the day we checked out, Itumeleng, came to find us to give us an item we left behind. 5. I had to ask for a picture with the pleasant chef who made us the ommelete just the way we wanted it 👌🏾 6. The shops are just outside the gate on the opposite side of the main gate, on the right, a steak house is just the 1st left turn on that road and East Rand shopping mall just a 3 minutes walk opposite that. Precisely 800m from the hotel

Nothing really, We had no handtowels, but we used one of the bath towels. When the entire service is so good, small don't like that don't even get noticed.

Room. I loved that the room had the feel of an individual little chalet and was not like a typical hotel room. It had a little kitchen area and a door opening to the garden. It also felt very safe, and the restaurant was great! The whole property had the vibe of a little town you can walk around in, and it was lovely.

Shower. The only negative experience was the shower. To have a hot shower you had to turn it all the way to max heat, and then there was no pressure. I had to wash my hair over the sink to get the soap out.
