Our hosts were very welcoming after a long drive. Our room was very comfortable with a particularly sumptuous bed. As for the breakfast…absolutely delicious with fresh homemade bread and an array of homemade jams that I ensured were all tried, the fig and ginger being my personal favourite. I should also mention the beautiful birds that visit the garden that make sitting on the deck a delight.

Not a negative, just a heads up…the hosts are retiring in a couple of months, so book quickly to enjoy their warm welcome, fabulous home and delicious breakfasts.

The hospitality from Sylvia and David is off the charts! From the warm welcome on arrival, adapting to guests (immedtiately suggesting a more accessible room over the planned room watching one of us walk with difficulty), to the excessive breakfast facilities with a huge variety of home made (some even home grown) products and cooked meals to all our liking. The rooms are spacious, have a private deck looking out over the valley and the ocean behind it. All details were thought through, like dimmable bed lights with 2USB charging ports on track side of the bed, a tiny little motion activated LED in the bathroom so you don't have to turn on the big light. Absolutely lovely to stay here and we would recommend any traveller who appreciates this kind of hospitality to stay here. Thanks Silvia and David!

I don't even know where to begin, David and Sylvia are by far the friendliest and hospitable hosts Iv ever had the pleasure of staying with. Their home is nothing short of adorable with a view that will leave you breathless. The rooms had everything you needed and made you feel right at home. David has a wealth of local knowledge that he was very kind to share with us and Sylvia treating me to an amazing breakfast with fresh home baked bread and home made jams was just perfect!

Sylvia and Dave were amazing hosts. They really made us feel at home. The views from the property are amazing. Sylvia took us in her car to the local shops, to prevent us from needing to hop back on our motorcycles. She even offered to take us and drop us off at the local restaurant. They were hosts that went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. The home made bread, jams and cakes a real treat. Would highly recommend a stay at this little piece of paradise.

I booked 2 nights at this wonderful b&b and I loved them both! I wish I had more. The view from my room was one of the bests I had in Tasmania, overlooking the entire Bay. The breakfast was amazing! Fresh, home baked bread and local honey from the bees in the wonderful garden of the hosts! The interior was absolutely new and immaculately clean. Great location for exploring the whole region.

There was nothing we could fault in our genuine B & B experience. David greeted us and was happy to show us around and offered to help with our bags. The room was just perfect for the two of us with stunning views across towards Bruny Island and everything we could want in a room. The bonus was the next morning with an absolutely beautiful cooked breakfast complete with home made breads and jams. Our only regret was that we stayed just the one night in this beautiful part of the world close to Port Arthur and Hobart.

Sylvia and David the owners were totally wonderful people who made the stay an absolute pleasure. Great location and the views from the deck were amazing. Room was beautifully appointed, bed extremely comfortable and neat and clean. This property is the best B&B I’ve ever stayed at and I would thoroughly recommend staying there. I would definitely go back.

Sylvia and Dave are outstanding hosts. Their place is in a good location with a fabulous view. The accomodation is squeaky clean and the little extras were greatly appreciated. The breakfast was fabulous. They are super accommodating and go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay- so much so that I was beginning to feel guilty at how hard they worked!!! Ideal place to stay when visiting Port Arthur Historic site. Really enjoyed our stay.

Just as shown on the website, the B&B is located on the hill and has an exceptional view of the sunset from the patio. The hosts, Dave and Sylvia, were amazing at providing traveling tips! Dave introduced us to an amazing restaurant--Port Arthur Motor Inn. Sylvia offered us plenty of guidance on food places locals frequent, including an excellent oyster place and an interesting distillery. Thank you both for an amazing experience!

Fabulous views and great aspect, amazing sunset! Great location, near Port Arthur, Remarkable Caves, Hobart, Sorell. The room was sparkling clean, comfortable, modern and included everything a weary traveller could need. Very welcoming hosts, with a fount of local knowledge, who kept us informed as we neared the stay time, about dining options, road warnings etc. It's those little things, plus the luxury of our surrounds, that put's them at the top of our stays. The surrounds are lovely, and in the evening the fauna starts coming out into the open for a good look. The breakfast was first class, with beautiful jams, yoghurt, bircher muesli, bread and fruit all made by our hosts, and a cooked breakfast as well! Sylvia and Dave are fabulous hosts, well travelled and with a great knowledge of local attractions and industries, which enables guests to move on and make the most of their holiday.
