Staff is welcoming and friendly. Location is quiet, which is great for having a good night sleep after a tiring day. Breakfast is just basic food but enough quantity as I could see the staff busy filling in the trays. Internet was good too.

Nothing particularly, but I feel the room was quite small for family. Basically, they just extend the sofa as a bed. Nothing to complain but it does occupy the little free space so almost no more space left in the room for moving freely.

We used to stay here before Covid. It has been refurbished and is clean and welcoming. We were in a room at the back which was quite lowdown hence a bit dark but was ok. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable we have slept in and was Queen size but all was clean. The breakfast was very good, kept nice and hot bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, beans, tomatoes and hash browns. Plus yogurt fruit, croissants, toast and cereals and jams marmalade and juices. Only stayed one night so for price ideal for us. There is an excellent Tobi carvery next door if required.

Would have liked a kingsize bed.

Everything, good location, a little remote from Leeds, but good connections available by bus service 140, 141, 446, bus stop near the hotel. Staff very good, easy check-in, clean and comfortable. Breakfast facilities and food choice excellent. Carvery available at the public house next to the hotel. Would and will certainly book this hotel again in the future.

For some reason there is no toilet brush in the bathroom ? or in the toilet facilities adjacent to the eating area. This is a basic requirement for me.

Location perfect for visiting family nearby. They were able to accommodate a ground floor room when asked as I was 27 weeks pregnant and struggled with stairs.

No offer of help from staff with luggage. We were there over Christmas, apart from a few festive greetings on Christmas day itself it didn't feel very festive, just felt like any other day. Lack of storage space in the room, especially for a 7 night stay.

We loved the location, really nice quiet area with a few pubs, minutes away down the road and Toby's next door to the hotel. Parking was free which was brilliant, money saver and breakfast was free too with our stay which had loads of selection. Not many tables though if its busy in the morning. . Our room was recently decorated so nice and fresh. Pillows was lovely, puffy and bouncy which made our sleep absolutely perfect. Staff were helpful as well .

Apparently the bar was not stocked they were awaiting a delivery we were informed but we managed to pay for and have some beer and Prosecco saved for later although the guy on reception later did not believe we had some been put in the staff fridge so that they would not sell them eventually my wife persuaded the guy that we had actually paid for them

Good size room with sofa bed and amenities, also with a decent sized desk space

I could not open the window after waking on a warm morning - didnt seem as though it was ever opened... very old. The sink plug was faulty, and would not spring back up after being sealed (I know know why there was a cup over this!).... the quilt under the sofa bed seems to have been there a very long time and with no second set of sheets despite it being a double room

It exceeded our expectations - the room was very clean and very comfy. Breakfast and hot drinks were excellent and a supurb addition for our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and professional - we needed a home from home for a few days rest and it was perfect. Will definately stay again.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. A lovely hotel.

Really friendly receptionist who arranged for breakfast to be ready at 7am rather than 7.30 as website had incorrect time listed of 6.30am (which was why we booked this hotel as knew we needed early departure and wanted breakfast before we left)

Just need to make sure details online match the reality

The fact that we booked double beds and we had single twin beds the oroperty said thus is what booking .com booked even though i booked double rooms.not happy wont be booking with booking. Com in the future.im aksi thinking of cancelling my up and coming bookings as um nit getting what we paid for
