Immediately walking in the front door the building is strikingly clean and had a pleasant floral/clean scent. No odor of smoke at all. The staff were very quick to help us check in and out, and the accommodations were above and beyond. Quick to supply some toiletries and the breakfast/café area we always well stocked with a great variety of drinks, snacks, and hot coffee/tea.

I was only slightly disappointed there was no bacon at breakfast either morning we stayed. The breakfast was great but was the same both mornings. Also, the microwave in our room was not functioning properly. It would randomly shut off in the middle of heating food after just a minute of running. The microwave and fridge were hidden in the dresser hutch, which I found to be a little odd. The TV was a bit small and the brightness was low and not adjustable, so it was a little hard to see from the beds.

Wanted something low stress for NYE. Was pleasantly surprised to see how many families were at this hotel. It felt safe. The room was clean, the pool was nice enough, my child loved it, although the water could have been a bit warmer. We didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast but that’s fine there is a dennys next door and it’s so close to a lot of food options. The beds are nice and soft with ample pillows and the tv has a lot of channels.

The mini fridge wasn’t cold. There isn’t much of a view you’re either looking at the highway or the apartments across the street but that’s to be expected based on its location.

The hotel was very clean and the people were wonderful. We were there for a soccer tournament and the staff could not have been more accommodating to all the teams and kids. They even opened breakfast an hour early to accommodate the game schedule. I thought it was a little expensive given the age of the hotel. It is very dated, but there's not a lot in the area. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. Decent gym and the kids loved the pool. I would absolutely stay there again for another tournament.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much based on the location (near major highways) and the pictures online were not the greatest. However, this place was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was immaculate. The breakfast was really good too (the usual fare, but had an automatic pancake maker and great pastries). The pool had undergone maintenance so it was cold, but the facilities were nice. Had a one bedroom suit with a private room; and speaking from experience, you sometimes get a "private room" that is tiny or doesn't have a door (true story). This had a door and each side had their own bathroom. We have to come to KC at least twice a year for our kids' doctor appointments and this is the first time I've stayed somewhere and thought to bookmark to be sure to stay again.

The pool was cold and the hot tub was down, but that's because they were doing maintenance. A bummer for this visit, but in the future I expect it will be great. You don't always see people invest in their properties, but the owners seem to take care of the facilities.

This trip to KC, the location was perfect. The breakfast was well planned and well stocked with many breakfast options. Hot items, cold items, and a good selection of beverages. Verry clean and well attended. The room had an excellent shower and was very comfortable.

The HVAC was loud and dry for this time of year, but it drowned out the highway and construction noise from the surrounding area. The hotel is close to good restaurants, shopping, and right off the highway to continue other trip plans. They did apologize for the hot tub repairs that were on-going. The pool itself was open for use.

The location was perfect for our trip and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was remarkable!

My biggest complaint is the room that was described on booking.com was NOT the room we got. Booking.com described the room as a double room ( my wording may be off here because it's been a month since we stayed) meaning a completely walled off seperate bedroom and a separate sitting area along with a patio. In speaking with the staff, none of the rooms had patios. The booking.com description was completely false and I was pretty angry.

They kept the hotel always smelling so wonderful even though they knew it was because it was musty they took initiative to make sure that it constantly smelled good at all times the front desk which I believe was Chris it's absolutely wonderful he got me checked in early was very pleasant in the hotel alone wonderful the pool was perfect hot tub perfect I don't think I have one complaint about this place and I normally always have a complaint about every Hotel birthday I am down to them 120%. I will say this don't judge it by the way that it looks from the outside because I would rather stay in this hotel then something else around the same price that's brand new

When I could honestly say there wasn't one thing I did not like

Everything went very smoothly. I was very happy with the facility. The rooms were exceptional clean as well as the hallways and lobby. The check in personnel was very nice and explained everything very well.

The room was 77 degrees and we tried turning on the ac but it had not been turned over yet. It was exceptionally warm outside which is not the norm this time of year. I did not call the desk and inquire about it so that is really on me not them.

The queen suite was spacious with two full bathrooms and two queen beds. The living room had a sofa and a TV. The breakfast was very good. They had sausages, scrambled eggs, potatoes, biscuits with gravy, cereals, milk, yogurt, fruit juices and pancakes. Good service too.

Hotel should consider providing at least two bottles of complimentary water or have their water dispenser available all the time, not just for breakfast.

There was a private party in the pool and they crowded everybody else out, so I couldn’t swim swimming as critical to me when I travel because it helps my muscles regain comfort after being stuck in the car so long they were also throwing footballs quite aggressively and it was just too much

The lobby gets quite noisy when a lot of people are visiting there so turn the TV down to help with the
