The woman who checked me into the hotel was competent, kind and helpful. My room was on the first floor in the back of the building. It was quiet and cozy. The bed was so comfortable. This hotel is about 4 blocks from the main plaza and cathedral. It's an excellent value! A note: the front desk is manned 24 hours a day, a nice perk.

There isn't much I didn't like about this place. I would say the room I had was small but comfortable. It's a great place to stay for up to 4 nights. I wish the room had been a bit bigger, but that didn't affect my comfort (just my preference).

The staff were excellent and helpful. The facility was modern , very clean and well appointed. The continental breakfast on the roof was just what we needed to start our day. Location was perfect as well. Going to Morelia, we would definitely stay there again. We had a suite which was a bonus with a microwave and fridge. Overall, all was perfect.

Since we had kitchen facilities, it would have been nice to have a few dishes.

All staff members were incredibly friendly, a very welcome environment to come 'home' to every evening! The rooms were very well-kept and the air-conditioning was great. Breakfast was served on the lovely rooftop patio and although the included breakfast was somewhat limited, you could easily pay a bit extra for additional options which were very tasty! The reception staff was always very willing to help with anything - from tour suggestions in the area to transportation bookings. The location of the hotel is also fantastic, very close to the center and yet not too loud!

We had a room on the ground-floor and unfortunately it was not completely soundproof so whenever there was chatter in the hallway (quite early in the morning), we could hear it quite loudly.

Hotel Boutique Maria offers a comfortable lodging experience in Morelia's old town city center. The room decor and bathroom amenities are modern. Appreciated having a good size TV with streaming services, along with a small refrigerator and microwave oven. Although the hotel is a couple of blocks away from Plaza de Armas, walking to the many historical sites is easy to do and the area feels safe. The included continental breakfast is adequate to get you started in the morning. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Boutique is the perfect word, a great place with simple but great rooms in an easy location. The breakfast is actually very good for what is on offer in the included part, staff are fantastic. It is a great place with only about 11 rooms in all.

A quick improvement could be access to a kettle or something to make a coffee or tea outside the breakfast hours. But no complaints.

Comfortable beds, good location, enjoyed the continental breakfast.

Our room, right beside reception, had a very strong sewer gas smell. I had to close the sink drain, put a towel over the floor drain, closed the bathroom door, and left the exhaust fan on to help minimize the smell. it it didn't help. The smell gave me a brutal headache. The wifi was not great.

Very clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous view of the cathedral along the 2 block walk to the centro. Continental breakfast of deliciously fresh in-season fruit with yogurt and granola, hearty multi grain toast with butter and pineapple preserves plus coffee and juice absolutely hit the spot.

Clean facilities. Close to Catedral, walking distance. Easy check in process. Friendly staff at all times.

Staff serving breakfast just needs to be more attentive. They’re too busy talking that they forget to check on guests to see if anything else is needed.

We loved the staff and the location. Everything was great. Comfortable bed. The only thing is no positive is that the room is small and bathroom is very small. But it did not hamper our stay. The location was great, close to Centro but on a quiet street.

The only thing was the size of the bathroom.

This is my second time staying at Hotel Boutique Maria. Location is perfect. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast is a great start to the day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Communication was great on the day of my check-in. 10/10 recommend!
