PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND BOOK A STAY AT LOUKA BEACH BALI. Absolutely mind-blowing. Yes, it is 3 hours away from Denpasar Airport, but that is the point! We have been fortunate enough to travel a lot, and we have spent plenty of time over the years in Bali. Including the islands off the coast of Bali as well as Lombok, and I can say that without a doubt, my favourite stay has been at Louka Beach. It is so quiet, so peaceful, and it is such a special place. The owner (Catherine) and her remarkable team afforded us the greatest customer service I have ever experienced - anywhere! The menu was mind-blowingly extensive and so big that it would take you weeks and weeks to eat through it all. We are very adventurous, and so our days were spent hiring a scooter and heading to Lovina Beach to swim with Dolphins at sunrise, heading to Amed Beach for some world-class snorkelling and diving, then heading to Aling Aling Waterfalls and Sekumpal Waterfalls (some of the best we have ever seen), for refreshing swims and cliff jumps. Aling Aling is a true standout with a natural waterslide, a 5M dive, a 10M dive and for the brave (like us), a 15M dive. The local guides are there with you the whole time. Then the last few days were spent relaxing by the pool (eating lots of food), and of course, soaking up the phenomenal weather. I should also note that we stayed at Louka Beach in the midst of the Bali Flooding, and as tragic as that was for many of the local Balinese in places like Denpasar, there was zero impact at Louka Beach. In fact, the weather was absolutely perfect the entire stay, which is what the weather is normally like at that time of year on the Northern Coast of Bali. We also found the whole stay to be very cost-effective, particularly for a 5-Star resort. Thank you so much to Catherine and her amazing team for what was one of the greatest experiences of our lives. We can't wait to come back.

We were lucky enough to stay at this exceptional hotel — a true sanctuary of calm in the midst of Bali’s tourist buzz. From the moment we arrived, we were embraced by a serene and soothing atmosphere. The property, with just 9 charming, traditional bungalows, offers an authentic and peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Every detail seems thoughtfully designed to encourage rest and relaxation. A special mention goes to Catherine, the hostess, whose kindness and attentiveness are truly unmatched. She radiates warmth and creates a sincere connection with her guests. The entire staff is equally caring and discreet, making the whole experience even more special. An unforgettable stay, far from the noise and crowds — we wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking calm, authenticity, and genuine hospitality in Bali. We’ll definitely be back!

We accidentally booked this hotel not realizing it was so far away, but we had a lovely time and the team made our stay wonderful. It’s actually much closer to places such as the Gates of Heaven, Water Palace and even the Mount Batur volcano hike. It’s a very long drive from the airport though. 😂But lovely!

It’s another 3+ hour drive from the airport so be prepared as that can be a lot. It was also just our luck that Bali had its huge blackout while we were there. A generator for the water pump would have been nice and they had another electricity outage (not whole island) as we were leaving but again, the joys of a more rural Bali. We had a great time though so no complaints.

Breakfast was truly amazing. I didn't need to eat a thing until dinner. I had a beach bungalow and had to stagger at least 10 steps to an infinity pool! Plenty of sunloungers and towels. Lots of shade as the sun is quite fierce. Room was very traditional and beautifully designed with an amazing bathroom. Beach gets cleaned by the staff once a day which is unusual in Bali so a big thumbs up for that. There was good snorkeling equipment. There were games in the restaurant area. There was a power cut whilst I was there but we were still able to eat. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The bungalows are spread out so you really do get a feeling of space and tranquility. It was very quiet. Owners and staff were very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble.

Amazingly authentic resort with spacious villas in Balinesian style. Wonderful tropical garden in front of the black sandy beach. Super friendly and helpful staff and especially owner Catherine always keen to help, going above and beyond. Tasty food menu with Indo and Western dishes, and great quality wine list. Comfortable matrasse makes you sleep deep. No time limit for breakfast, they allow you to take your time. It’s the place to come down and really do nothing, your body and soul will teach you what to do. We stayed 4 perfect days and would always come back and recommend.

The hotel sits right on the beach, in a small village without many commercial activities. But we found exactly what we are looking for - a place to chill and relax, after 10 days in other, busier parts of Bali. The hotel ground is so well maintained, the lobby and restaurant is beautiful, and the rooms are decorated with lovely Balinese crafts. A lot of thoughts and efforts went into keeping this place so perfect! The hotel restaurant also has delicious food and drinks. The hotel has two pools, and offers free snorkeling tools, kayak and paddle boarding. Bring your own snorkeling gears (they have a limited selection of sizes) if you want a super snorkel session right off the ocean in front - corals and fish, great visibility. The manager Catherine and all the staff were super friendly, kind and attentive. Thank you so much! I couldn’t recommend more this hotel to families and couples who want a beautiful, relaxing beach holiday in Bali!

- Maybe one thing is that there aren’t many things to do around, but it didn’t bother us at all since we just want to chill. - Would be nice to improve the roads and the surroundings leading up to the hotel after the turn on the main road.

Louka Beach Bali exceeded all of my expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and breathtaking ocean views. The resort is beautifully designed, blending luxury with nature, creating the perfect environment for relaxation. The rooms are spacious, elegantly decorated, and offer stunning views of the sea. Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying coffee on the private balcony was an unforgettable experience. The resort’s beachfront location makes it feel like a secluded paradise, perfect for unwinding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay—always friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The on-site dining was also exceptional, with fresh and delicious meals served in a picturesque setting. Whether you’re looking to relax by the infinity pool, explore the surrounding area, or simply soak in the beauty of Bali, Louka Beach Bali is the perfect getaway. I couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and luxurious stay. Highly recommend!

Having to leave would recommend staying longer. We stayed for 3 days.

This place is simply paradise on earth. When you see the pictures online, they can't render the beauty that you will admire when you are really there. It is a new resort, built on the beach in 2022, fully in harmony with the Bali style. All bungalows are extremely charming and provided with all you need for your comfort. Truly love the fact that breakfast is available anytime, so it's a treat not to have to put a wake up call. The restaurant is also available for lunch, dinner and snacks until 23:00. The kindness of the hosts (Catherine and Laurent) and all the employees of the resort is the cherry on the cake to make this stay remarkable.

When the gate door opens, you realise that you have arrived to a little paradise. We extended our stay with 1 night to total of 3 nights and enjoyed everything minute of it. Grand merci Catherine and all the team and we hope to be back one day
