The room and facilities were clean, the area is very pretty. Lots of things to do around, the city is nearby. We had a small argument with the restaurant manager. We asked to have 2 forks, because we had 8 months old baby, which was not feeling 100% well so we had no time/means spend hours at the restaurant and just wanted to eat quickly a salad that we had outside. He was very rude, it seemed to be a big deal to provide 2 forks while we are the clients of the hotel.. Did not get it so much, in France you can have forks at any hotel that you stay. I wished having 3 meal course dinner at the restaurant there but this is not always possible travelling with the small child..

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel—perfect for a peaceful getaway far from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you're looking for a place to fully relax and unwind, this is it! The spa area was a real highlight. We were lucky to have it almost entirely to ourselves for most of the day, making the experience even more relaxing. It does get a bit busier and louder after 6:30 PM, likely due to the hotel's dinner & spa offer, but it’s still a lovely place to enjoy. The facilities are well-maintained, with a nice sauna and hammam—on the smaller side but still very enjoyable. I imagine it’s even nicer in summer when you can make the most of the outdoor areas. Overall, a great place to recharge in a calm and beautiful setting. Would definitely return!
One small improvement would be to have towels readily available in the spa area. We assumed there would be some but had to run back to our room to grab ours. It would also be nice to have an extra towel specifically for the sauna, so it stays dry and separate from the ones used for the pool and showers. This small addition would make the spa experience even more convenient and enjoyable! If you're not planning to eat at the hotel restaurant, I’d recommend planning ahead. The nearby town doesn’t have many dining options, and during our stay, several places were closed. It’s a good idea to check in advance or be prepared to drive a bit further to find a restaurant.

The place (area) was great...really calm and relaxing...we also liked the view outside the window,,, the staff were also friendly and helpfull,,, the wellness was really great they have everything what you need for..the food are also delicious...we are surelly planing to come back but next with our children :) Thank you for a wonderfull experience we had ❤️
The only thing we are not satisfied is the rooms are not really sound proof 😁 you can really hear the footsteps of the people walking at the hallway and theyre voices...that was a bit disturbing specially when you are sleeping 😁

The hotel is in a good location in Barvaux, surrounded with the nature. We managed to visit Durbuy by walking 1 hour from the hotel, which we considered as a good hiking option. Breakfast was very good, with many options. The spa is also in a very good shape, super clean and well maintained. The swimming pool is quite big, and on top of that you get sauna, hammam and jacuzzi. We also liked billiard, it was fun to play and the price is just one euro. Overall, we liked our stay in Azur en Ardenne.
Spa area is quite small, in the weekend it becomes very crowded. There are special hours when children <16 y.o. can visit spa area, and they are not allowed to use sauna and jacuzzi, but we've seen a few times that these rules were not strictly followed. The hotel does not provide free bottled water, we used tap water and bought bottled water from the local supermarkets. Cutlery isn't provided as well, the only glasses in the room were the disposable paper cups. The public transportation in the area is not good.

Staff is excellent, very professional, helpful and polite (reception, restaurant, bar....). I have asked for a quiet room and I really got a quiet room (very rare in other hotels that they take this request seriously). Thank you again for this! What a nice surprise, finally a swimming pool that is not ice-cold! The temperature of the water is just perfect even for people with RA! Separated time frame for children that makes possible to relax in the SPA + pool and enjoy the beautiful view. Decoration is top in the hotel. A lot of parking place. Billiard table to enjoy the evening. Bar (+ barmen) is also very nice, prices are reasonable. Super atmosphere. Absolutely recommended.

It was a comfortable stay. Everything in the room worked well. The pool and wellness area were also quite peaceful, and I loved that there were no children around—you can truly relax there. The sauna is spacious, though I do wish there were towels available to use. The hotel itself has restaurants, and there are also other dining options and a supermarket nearby, making it a great location.
I wish the hallway was quieter, as I could hear everything from my room. The service could be faster, and the staff could be friendlier.

On the 15 th morning before we check out , My daughter want to try play the snooker while she was playing we drop striker on the floor. Because she was never played this before unfortunately she wasn’t using the snooker stick proper as well. There was a staff member I believe he may be a manager not the reception staff. He suddenly told you are not using it correctly it cost lots of money for the snooker table he really upset my daughter and made our day bad please tell him talk to kids bit polite

A beautiful room with amazing view over the Belgian Ardennes. We got engaged during our stay there, I informed them about it and they made sure to get our room in a romantic theme and gave us a free room upgrade. We had an amazing time in the beautiful pool/spa area.
The rooms could be a bit more authentic.

Great location and the room was nice. We really loved the pool.
We had a connecting room with guests that were smoking in the room (eventhough it was non-smoking). The smell came through the connecting door into our room. We complained about it the next morning, but there was nothing the staff could do about it. Seems a bit odd to us.
