Large fluffy, soft bath sheets. Food very good & plentiful. Three course evening meal for £20 per person & breakfast included in the room rate. Bar prices cheaper than I expected. Just above pub prices Car park permit available free of charge (£20 deposit you get back when returning the permit) We had room 304 with a view of the castle & sea with ample room to move sit/move around in
Instructions on room/bathroom heating system not available. Although warm enough not to want to use it. (12th & 13th April 2025) Bathroom - shower felt a little cramped.

Room well presented with all the expected accessories present. Cleaning was thorough and efficient. Meals were consistent with the standard of the hotel and efficiently delivered to table. The management thoughtfully provided entertainment for those remaining in the hotel during the evening. Staff excellent.
The lounge area of the hotel needs work to make it more appealing. Since most guests will pass through or near to the lounge when first entering the premises, a good first impression is important. Currently, the lounge area does not reflect the standard of most other aspects of this hotel.

It was fine.
We had an evening meal --3 courses for £20. The soup was fine. The salad was poor with no mayo or dressings offered. Bland boiled potatoes. Not appetising at all. The desert was a gluten free crumble. It was poor. It had horrid pastry with a little fruit and crumble on top. Gluten free pastry can be tricky to make. For a crumble they would be better dispensing with the pastry, adding more fruit and topping it with a simple gluten free crumble mix . So the hotel was fine but our food !!

The staf were very friendly and the hotel was central
My bacon and poached egg were not cooked enough for me so the fat was floppy on the bacon and the egg was snotty.

The room was large and very clean, the showers were very clean, towels fluffy, the carpets seemed new as well which was a good surprise. The bed was very comfortable.
The breakfast is very average, I had cold ham and eggs, the ham looked old and not edible. Husband's Traditional breakfast was very mediocre with rock hard hashbrown, sad looking mushrooms.

Staff were friendly and helpful .We spent the evening walking round the bay and stayed in the lounge talking and listening to the music. We hadn’t originally ordered breakfast but decided to book it before we went up to the room.
No immediate car parking but there was an arrangement with a local car park which was ok but a short walk supplied parking spaces that did just as well.

We had a room on the 3rd floor, and the view from our room was amazing! The room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The staff were very Informative and also considerate to the event that was taking place, we had to leave early in the morning which was no issue for them at all

The property situated in the centre of Criccieth and is very close to train station. The room were clean, tidy and lovely. The silver lining of this hotel is the staffs. The staffs were very warm and helpful. The standard check-in time for every hotel is 14:00. But I had to attend a wedding on 1400. So, I needed an earlier check-in. I asked the staffs if they could help me and they were so understanding and flexible. They even helped me with my health issues. I have never experienced a hotel with such helpful staffs in UK. I was so grateful. Thank you so much.

There was entertainment on the Saturday evening. Dining is highly recommended & fantastic value for the price

The hotel had entertainment on the evening. The meal we booked was excellent & the cost was amazing for a 3 course meal. The hotel ask for a deposit so you get a parking permit which is then given back as you leave. Everything that was asked of the staff was done straight away.
There was nothing we did not like
