This hotel is situated in a lovely location surrounded by a park which houses red squirrels. It is a quiet oasis after a busy day. I used to visit this hotel in the 70s as a child so I have fond memories. It was a very exclusive and well kept place back then,so the beautiful original features could be appreciated. Everywhere was very clean which is an important plus for us and we will stay again.
It is sad to say that that this place now is in need of a huge input of money to transform it back to its former self. The external woodwork is looking very worn and whilst the garden areas are still beautiful, you can see more tlc os needed. In the newer block internal painting and works are obviously progressing. The communal areas inside need totally refurbishing as are looking worn and dated.

My partner, our 10-month-old, and I stayed at The Broadway over the Easter break and had a lovely experience. Our room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious, which made things so much easier with a baby in tow. Breakfast was tasty, and I really appreciated the gluten-free option—they even toasted it in a separate toaster, which was a thoughtful touch. The bar and outdoor seating area were also great additions and gave the place a relaxed, welcoming feel. The location is great, about 10 minutes was to the seafront. We really enjoyed our stay!
While we had a great stay overall, there were a couple of things to note. Our room was located right next to a door that other guests frequently used to access their rooms, so it did get a bit noisy at times—something to keep in mind if you're traveling with a baby. We were also told a travel cot would be available, but unfortunately there wasn’t one when we arrived. Thankfully, we had a family room and were able to push the beds together to co-sleep, but I’d recommend bringing your own just in case. One other small point—there’s only one highchair available at breakfast, which can be tricky if there are a few little ones dining at the same time.

A very nice stay in a very decent hotel. Room was clean and tidy and warm, breakfast was excellent with a decent sized dining room and staff were all friendly. Wasn't. overly busy during our stay but there was plenty of parking. It is an old manor house so going to have some small signs of ageing here and there but certainly doesn't detract from the stay at all, in fact, it is nice to see a bit of character in a building rather than the bland surroundings of some chain hotels. All in all i would recommend to stay here if visiting that area of Isle of Wight.
Nothing really, probably could do with a lick of paint here and there but nothing major at all.

The hotel is in a quiet area, you can't hear any cars passing, birds singing, dogs barking etc, so if you are looking for a place to rest this is perfect. I liked the front area of the hotel as well as the big parking lot.
The overall cleanliness of the room was ok, but the paint in the bathroom needs to be redone, the shower was clogged and there were no railings or shelves to put the towels, toiletries or changing clothes (apart of a very small hook on the back of the door). The courtains were a little bit dusty and not easy to pull as the ceilings are very tall but overall it was ok. The bathrooms from downstairs though, were very dirty. They should have their sits replaced and overall better cleaned.

Great location, beautiful gardens and building. Staff super friendly and kind. Breakfast buffet was great with lots of choices . Amazing value for the price paid. Nice and quiet even though entertainment was on. Great that you can leave bags at the lobby. Great every room is lift accessible
Booked two rooms. One room had a new bed one was very old and not as comfortable looks like they are refurbishing as they go. Note that the local busses would normally be directed right outside the hotel but unfortunately due to road works they have been redirected so plan accordingly you can pick up the nearby train station or busses from the high street but may be challenging for those with less mobility

It was a simplistic breakfast, though very nice, as my partner enjoys cereals much more than I do. Personally, I prefer a cooked breakfast rather than continental, but I was happy just to have fresh orange juice and a mug of tea, we both were. Hopefully you could offer a cooked breakfast in the future, thus catering for all travellers staying with you at The Broadway Park Hotel. Nonetheless, our stay was an enjoyable one and we would not hesitate coming again.
Just disappointed there was no cooked breakfast, as most establishments nowadays, offer their guests the choice of a Full English as well as Continental. For me, a hot breakfast sets me up for the day, even if it is only Beans on toast!

Loved the building and the grounds. It's an old building but for us that added to the charm. The room was clean with a nice view of the trees in the grounds. You could open the window which is rare these days in hotels. Breakfast was nice. Good price for the room including breakfast. Walking distance to Sandown which was perfect and not far from the station (or the rail replacement bus as it was at the time of staying.) so quite easy to come across from Portsmouth by train/ferry without needing the car.
There could have been more selection at breakfast but what we had was nice. Coffee could have been better. However, for the price it was good and what we would have expected.

Lovely historic building. Great location. Quiet wooded area. The beds were clean and comfortable. There are plenty of pillows and towels. Lots of hanging and draw space. The breakfast was amazing. Plenty of food options and the dining area and staff are lovely.
The shower was disappointing. Hose kinking and cutting off the flow of water. Then it was either scorching hot or freezing cold water. Sink tap soaked you as aireator missing and no sink hole strainer, so stuff would fall down waste pipe. Really squeaky bathroom floor, which must be lovely for people below us. This was probably caused by the floor being soaked from the shower as shower curtain quite short. There is only one electrical plug socket. The carpet had stains. Most of these were and easy fix. Don't know of this is an issue in others rooms.
