Absolutely loved this hotel and Mill Valley!! You get a fabulous breakfast and wine/cheese evening reception every day included as part of your stay at the Mill Valley Inn. Rooms are great and staff are really friendly. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of restaurants and bars. Mill Valley itself is fantastic. We enjoyed 4 days of mountain biking and hiking across wonderful vistas and intriguing landscapes. I can’t recommend this hotel and location enough!!

Nothing!! It was all fantastic. The hotel does not have its own pool, hot tub or restaurant / bar but it offers so much else that we did not miss any of these things. Truly magical experience for my husbands 50th birthday. Thank you.

Absolutely loved this charming Inn. Right in the middle of town and easy to walk to restaurants, shops, hiking trails. The breakfast and wine reception were great and the staff at both were just wonderful, kind and helpful. It was my birthday and they left me bubbles and treats in the room, a nice touch. The bed was super comfy and the sitting area outside, along the stream, and surrounded by the redwoods, was so peaceful. Exceeded my expectations and would most definitely return.

The lady at the front desk during check in on a Thursday evening was excellent! Very helpful with printing out the Muir Woods paperwork. She also gave wonderful recommendations. The room was comfortable and clean! Breakfast was very nice with good variety. Handicap parking and location of our room to the elevator was excellent! We would stay here again!

Bed was on the soft side for us. I found a silver fish in the bathroom crawling towards me! Ugh! Would like a retractable screen on the door so we could get some fresh air and smell the redwoods without letting in the bugs.

This was such a beautiful well maintained Inn within walking distance of everything; great restaurants, coffee shops & uniques stores. The staff was amazing, so friendly & helpful. I had very genuine conversations with a couple of the staff & really felt at home there. I would 100% stay there again.

If I had to come up with a complaint, it would be that the room we stayed in was only accessible by stairs. It made it a little tough on me, but also I did not ask if there was another room available.

You can't beat the location of Mill Valley Inn. It's right in the heart of Mill Valley which is a small and charming town. The hotel itself was nice, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony, keeping the door open for fresh air, and even lit a few fires in the fireplace which was something unique and special. There aren't many bells and whistles or extra amenities given the size of the hotel, but we enjoyed our stay and appreciated that parking was free and easily accessible.

The functionality of the bathroom was lacking a bit. The shower was nice and the water pressure was great, but there was no place in the shower or at the sink to place any products which presents some challenges. Also, thought the price was a bit high for the limited amenities, but the accommodations surpass others in the area.

The breakfasts were wonderful. Very nice and polite cook and server. A variety of foods and drinks. It was wonderful meeting the other guests. Very enjoyable mornings! We met other guests at the wine evenings and that was a real plus. The staff was all exceptional but Richard and Stella went way and above to help us. Stella. was very kind about us needing to check out early. We would have stayed the entire time but we just weren’t getting any rest. The parking for disabled guests was great and elevator and room location was perfect.

Our bed was very uncomfortable, the pillows were too heavy, and for it being an accessible room the bed was way too high and the side of the tub was difficult for me to step over. It wasn’t their fault but construction across the street, concrete pumping days, were loud and annoying

We were lucky enough to get one of the cottage creek rooms that overlooked a small creek that ran through the property surrounded by red wood trees. The room came little patio area that enabled us to make acquaintances with a doe and fawn who had made their way into the tree lined space. The bed was very comfortable, room decorated beautifully, and the spacious bathroom had a large vanity, soaking tub, and shower. We didn't make it to breakfast or the wine/cheese tasting due to our schedule but saw many other patrons making their way into the lounge area that morning. The location is perfect and is a quick walk to many of the cute shops, restaurants, and bars in the area. It's also a very short drive to Muir Woods.

Parking in the main lot was a bit tight but there is another lot that can accommodate a few larger vehicles.

Mill Valley Inn is a sweet little jewel box of a hotel! Quiet and surrounded by lovely lush trees , it's located right in the middle of everything yet super peaceful. The room was very tasteful and pretty and vintage without being outdated. Comfortable bed and great bathroom with a soaking tub... We loved it!

The property was exactly as advertised. The staff was amazing. Check-in was easy. One day they didn’t clean the coffee maker and Aida a bottle of wine. Several things for coffee they have over. Exceeded my expectations for the small mistake. The grounds are beautiful I would, highly recommend it. It’s very sweet.

It would be nice if the lights had dimmers. They’re bright.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The kids loved having a DVD library from which to choose movies, and I appreciated all the helpful advice from the staff who were knowledgeable and friendly. The evening wine and cheese spread was most welcome! The breakfast was fantastic, and the room was incredibly comfortable.
