A good place to stay when visiting Bratislava, very good value. It is not in walking distance to town center but Uber ride is $5. Breakfast has a lot of choices, quite delicious.

Room is a little bit small. Not free parking but price is reasonable.

Excellent food. Staff over responsive. Literally stealing plates in front of you when you look away for a second. Hotel is architecturally impressive, with large dinning rooms, best view from breakfast table (if you come early), impressive pillars, 'noir' reception. In short: full of Eastern Europe impressions in a positive way.

claustrophobic elevators, non-functioning Finnish sauna, small fitness room with crammed equipment. What bothered me most was that the cleaners didn't enter the room until after lunch, when I wanted a siesta. They appeared in the hallway at around 8:30, but the room wasn't cleaned until the afternoon.

I was genuinely surprised by how good and comfortable this hotel was. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much, but when my friend and I arrived, we were pleasantly surprised and ended up really enjoying our stay. Although the hotel is not located right in the city centre, you do need to take a bus or taxi to get around, it’s still a more affordable option and is situated in a calm, quiet neighborhood, which we appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying here. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! We loved it and ended up eating quite a lot. There were so many fresh and delicious options to choose from, including amazing cakes and my personal favorite—the omelette with ham and cheese. Dinner was equally impressive: elegant and well presented, with a great menu to choose from. We arrived a bit late, after 9:30 PM, but the staff were still incredibly kind, professional, and flexible. They didn’t show any rush or frustration even though their shift was ending, which we really appreciated. The cleanliness was also top-notch. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bed sheets, and the floor was vacuumed as well. Honestly, I have no complaints at all. It was a great experience, and I’m already looking forward to coming back soon.

The only point I would mention is that during our first two nights, we had a less pleasant experience due to noise. There were large groups of children, possibly school groups, who were quite loud during breakfast and in the corridors. It seemed like there were professionals responsible for them, but still, the noise affected our experience, especially during breakfast and even more during dinner time. For the price my friend and I paid, we feel the hotel could offer a better level of organisation when hosting large groups, so other guests don’t feel uncomfortable or disrupted. A bit more separation or planning could really help maintain a relaxing atmosphere for everyone.

The Apollo was a fantastic place to stay, even if it was only for one night. Our room was very clean and tidy, not a huge amount of space to move around with the king-size bed but we weren't exactly tripping over each other, the desk space was big enough for a laptop and there were plenty of electrical sockets available for chargers etc. Having a small balcony was fantastic; when we first arrived we chilled in the sunshine with a cold beer, in the morning we sat outside and had a coffee to wake up. The shower was excellent; plenty of water, very powerful and loads of room; I hate a cramped shower! The staff were brilliant right from us first arriving, everyone was extremely helpful and spoke a good level of English, we also got some very helpful local tips for getting round the city from our waiter at dinner. The food was fantastic; I had read in the description that the restaurant was known for its venison dishes so I wasn't going to miss out on this treat and it was an absolutely amazing dining experience. Breakfast had something for everyone with hot meats, cold meats, cheeses, eggs, bread and rolls, fruit, cereals, yoghurts etc etc.

The only slightly odd thing was that with our room being on the 6th floor we had to get the lift down to the ground floor, cross the lobby area and then go back up the stairs on the other side to get to the restaurant/breakfast room, but that wasn't exactly a hardship given the amazing views from the glass lift running outside the main building.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, and everything in the hotel and the room was perfectly clean. The mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the bed linen was fresh and pleasant to the touch — it really made for a good night's sleep. The check-in process was quick and smooth. After check-out, we were able to leave our luggage in a special storage room at the hotel, which was very helpful. The staff were caring and attentive, always ready to assist. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from — a great start to the day.

Overall, everything was comfortable, and I honestly have nothing negative to say. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful clean room, friendly helpful staff, everything worked, the amenities were generous and restocked every day (free mini bar with our stay was AMAZING perk :) The breakfast buffet was amazing, have seen a few and this one was fresh, varied and never ran out. I really enjoyed this stay, it was a haven after exploring in the summer sun all day long. Please don't arrive expecting a UK/US 4-star - this is a Slavic country, they're catching up! I loved it and would recommend to anyone visiting Bratislava

"The rooms were nice and comfortable, though the couch wasn't prepared upon arrival, but staff addressed this issue promptly. One drawback was the confusing layout of elevators and stairways, which made navigation within the hotel somewhat challenging. On a positive note, the breakfast was very good with plenty of options. Location-wise, the hotel sits in the broader center area, requiring a walk of more than 20 minutes to reach the old town - manageable but not the most central position for tourists focused on historical sightseeing.

Clean and tidy, the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom had a bathtub which was really surprising and we loved it! Close to the mall. A bit further away from the city centre but still within walking distance (if you don’t mind walking) and easy to find. The buffet was quite extensive and had good selection every day!

The soundproofing from the corridors was not the best so we could hear everyone walking and speaking loudly but most people were courteous and quiet so we didn’t experience any disturbance during quiet hours. Single use slippers would be a nice thing to incorporate.

The rooms were really clean and tidy, they had everything I needed. The TV and WiFi were really good, especially because the TV had phone screen sharing. The breakfast was really good, all the food was tasty and there was plenty of it. The staff were really lenient with the timing, so even those who came a little late still had a chance to eat something. Breakfast included coffee which was a massive plus for me.

The only thing I didn't like is the location. The hotel is a little far away from the center, which isn't a problem if you're willing to get a 24 hour ticket, but if you aren't you're gonna end up walking for 20/30ish minutes. Perhaps in the summer it's not a problem, but in the blistering cold of -2C it isn't ideal.

Excellent location, great-looking interior, comfortable room with air conditioning. Breakfast buffet and evening restaurant leave nothing to be desired. Easy walking distance to Nivy shopping center and there are public transport stops in front of the hotel.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom needs to be more regularly cleaned. When I arrived there was dust and dirt all over the bathroom sink, shelf and toilet. When I brought it to the attention of the housekeeping staff they cleaned it, so that’s positive.
