Reception service, nothing was too much trouble and requirements carried out without delay. the rooms were quite spacious , clean and airy.. Bathroom good size, toilet seat underside unstained.. Check your next hotel its a sign of good house keeping. towels etcetera, ample and good quality cotton. Bed sizing is very good and very comfortable. duvet had sensible tog for the weather.plenty of pillows

There not being a resaurant, but understandably if clients pay a reasonable rate, then the cost of a Chef and staff are not included in your rate, you can not have a rolls royce for BMC prices. Breakfast sufficient continental style served at table , cooked breakfast was not offered , but then the cost of this requirement adds to the overheads. The fire doors to all rooms were very heavy and the closers could be adjusted to make them slighly less heavy to open. They are a necessary fire safety requirement. a good 1 hour fire rating.

We stayed here for one night in an economic double room, on the first floor. This is a nice and well located small hotel. The hotel sits in a residential area which we found to be quite safe and very quiet. The lady who owns the place is lovely, she speaks English and communication with her was very good, right from the very moment we booked our room via Booking.com. She checked us in, informed us about the breakfast and hotel access etc - and the whole check-in process went very smoothly. The hotel building itself wasn't new but it was very obvious that this owner works hard to keep their property clean and neat. We found our room to be very clean, the bathroom was clean, and the shower jet was amazing, my wife kept complimenting it. The mattress was very comfortable, the pillows were good, the bedsheets and towels were clean. The hotel even provided extra pillows in the closet, along with a fan to use when the weather became too warm. The nearby tram stop (Christ Roi stop) is within walking distance, which adds several bonus points to the hotel. Just 4 stops from Christ Roi, the tram can take you to the old town, where there are loads of good places to eat. We would definitely consider staying in this hotel again, the next time we are in Tours.

The staff was great. They offered us a lot of information and tried to make pleasant our staying. The room wasn't very large, yet it was an economy room, good for the value. We stayed just one night and it was a good match to this purpose. They have a free, private parking place, luckily I found the last free spot. All in all, it was a good staying at this hotel.

Nice hotel, would stay again. Good location, easy to find. Free Parking available. Front of house warm and welcoming. 'Economical' Bedroom was larger than expected (as we were told it was tiny!) beds comfortable. Clean. Table and chairs was a nice feature.

On arrival at 6.30pm we ordered hot drinks but we could not sit outside to enjoy them in the evening sunshine as the outside area was Closed and only available at breakfast time. In Room 11 the toilet was awkwardly positioned, if you are an adult (with over 38" hips) you would need to be able to squeeze your bottom between the basin and the shower in order to sit on it! hahahaha Good shower, but sink much too big, it only needs a small wash hand basin in that room and then the toilet wouldn't have been so awkward to use!

Comfortable room and bed. Spacious bathroom but hairdryer on wall very poor. Overnight parking in front of hotel, can't reserve place so not really practical to leave after check in when not assured of place on return. Few places on road opposite. Must drive or take tram to restaurants. Good overnight stay in quiet neighborhood.

Would have been nice to have a terrace to sit out.

The property was sparkling clean. Excellent shower. Very comfy bed with crisp white linen and good pillows. Very quiet location with ample parking in front of the hotel. The hostess was friendly and welcoming.

The only thing that would have improved my visit would be tea making facilities in the room

Friendly Welcome So clean There is something very special about hotel Italia: Short walk to great bars and eateries. Tours we love Tudor style buildings and great atmosphere on the way to the motorway stocked up at the local bakery which is exquisite.

Very amenable and helpful. Changed our room with shower for a room with bath very readily and lent us a kettle and cups for our stay. Friendly staff.

Decor a little bit 'tired' but that's a minor quibble and it didn't detract from our stay.

The staff were super friendly spoke English. Had its own off street parking and breakfast was great very quiet place to stay. Couldn’t ask more of a budget hotel thank you !

Everything. Best 2star I’ve ever stayed in. Should be at least a 3 if not 4 star. Hostess was friendly, competent and totally dedicated to her business. Close to Tours I highly recommend this hotel. The owner does herself credit!
