My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Cabernet House. The property is beautiful inside and out, with tasteful décor that highlights its historic charm. Our two-bedroom suite was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and served in a lovely dining room, which offers the opportunity to meet other guests. There’s also a charming patio area that we didn’t have the chance to use, but would have if we’d stayed longer. The inn truly feels like a warm, cozy home, and its location is perfect, just a short walk to the center of Napa and a 10-15 min. drive to many top wineries. Can't wait to be back!

Absolutely delightful stay at this charming, older hotel! From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere enveloped us—it's so quiet and cozy, a true escape from the hustle and bustle. The hotel itself is full of character, with its vintage decor and warm, inviting spaces. What really stood out was the homemade breakfast—simply outstanding. Each dish was freshly prepared, and you could tell the ingredients were of the highest quality. The host was beyond wonderful, friendly, and attentive, making sure every need was met with a smile. If you're looking for a relaxing, homely place with top-notch service and a personal touch, this is definitely the place to be! Will absolutely return. Highly recommend!

Charming, clean and comfortable property. Excellent breakfast. Kind staff. Conveniently located (within walking distance) to downtown. Even though it was on a busy street, it was quiet. Good value, too.

I was confused about where to enter after hours. Check-in instructions said "Use the side door of Cabernet House to get in." I didn't see any signage that said Cabernet House, only Old World Inn (which was also on the reservation-- so at least i knew I wasn't at another property altogether) but it was dark so maybe I just didn't see it. Once I found it, self check-in was easy.

The Chocolat room at Cabernet House was clean and spacious with a private bath and A/C. The bed was very comfortable. We were able to walk to restaurants, shopping and to the Uptown Theater concert venue. In the morning we grabbed fresh brewed coffee from the parlor and walked through town returning to a hearty breakfast with protein and fresh fruit. The staff was helpful and friendly.

The bathroom was darling with good natural light but the shower stall is quite small and the stairs to our room creaked.

The breakfast was beyond excellent! The location was great for walking into downtown Napa. The bed was very comfortable, and the inn itself was very charming.

Our particular room was very dark and the windows opened to the parking lot/street, so there was no way to get more natural light (and the lighting provided in the room wasn't great). The bathroom shower head was an awkward style for the small space. We would certainly return to this property but would not stay in this particular room (Bella Tuscany) again.

The staff was friendly and treated you like family. It was central to Napa and surrounding areas. The daily breakfast was delicious. We were there for our anniversary and a birthday. We had a bottle of champagne chilling in our fridge and a local bottle of wine.

It would be nice to have the bathroom updated. We stayed in the cottage and the bathroom could use an upgrade.

Dolly, the proprietor, was a fabulous ray of sunshine! She really made our stay so enjoyable. Breakfast was not fancy but it was very well made and delicious...as were the homemade cookies that were available 24x7! The bed was very comfortable and the room was cool and dark for good sleeping. It was an easy walk to downtown Napa. Good parking albeit a bit tight. The contactless checkin and checkout was very simple. Overall a great value for money.

The rooms are a bit tight but very manageable. The clawfoot tub has old world charm but we'd have preferred a simple shower room.

Great location, extremely clean, nice helpful staff. The breakfast was mediocre but made with care.

The place was great yet a bit "janky". It needs a bit of TLC and maintenance. Some leaky pipes (sewage?) Outside, some trim falling off in main dining room, cracks in walls here and there, the bottom of the toilet was cracked and missing (did not affect function) and the bathroom sink faucet moves back and forth. The jacuzzi was not working when we first arrived, then they got it to work but after that the awning would not work. Great clean place but It visually needs some TLC.

The old style of Cabernet House, they have another attached house that is not so pretty and the rooms are super dark. Because a misunderstanding we stay one night in the attached house. The location is great.

Yo cannot select the items on your breakfast dish. They served the dish full with the menu of the day. The personnel was super weird, specifying not asked details about how often they change the door password, the fact that every time we entered or leave the property they have an alert. Looks like they don’t feel safe with the guests, it was so highlighted that becomes weird and unconditionally situation. At some point we were just silent, taking part of the breakfast they offered to us.

Small inn charm, good breakfast, close to downtown - easy walk there. Starry night had a sky light that let in a lot of light, which was great since we needed to wake up early the next day.

Thin walls, easy to hear people walking around. Quiet hours keep noise down.
